Description
本特許出願は、参照によりその全体が本明細書に組み込まれる、2014年12月1日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/085,685号の優先権を主張する。
a)「備える(comprising)」という語は、与えられた請求項において記載される要素又は行為以外の他の要素又は行為の存在を排除しない。
b)ある要素に先行する「a」又は「an」という語は、そのような要素が複数存在することを排除しない。
c)請求項中のいかなる参照記号も、それらの範囲を限定しない。

Claims (14)
- 医療デバイスに結合された医療器具を追跡するためのシステムであって、前記システムは、
身体内に挿入するための医療デバイスであって、前記医療デバイスの開口を通過し、ツール挿入軸と整列した、医療器具の進行の仮想軸を生成するための感度が協調的な複数のコイルを含む追跡コンポーネントを備える医療デバイスと、
追跡空間における仮想軸位置を判定するために、前記複数のコイルを追跡する追跡システムと、
前記追跡空間をマッピングするセンサモジュールと
を備える、システム。 - 前記追跡システムは、同期電圧検知器を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 視覚映像撮像システムを更に備える、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記追跡システムは、AC電圧計を含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 医療器具を追跡するための医療デバイスであって、前記医療デバイスは、
前記医療デバイスを通じて医療器具を受け入れ、搬送するチャンネルであって、前記チャンネルは、前記医療デバイスの遠位部分まで延在し、前記医療デバイスの中心軸と整列していないがツール挿入軸と整列している前記医療デバイスの開口と連通する、チャンネルと、
前記医療器具の進行の仮想軸を生成するための感度が協調的な複数のコイルを備える追跡コンポーネントと
を備え、
前記仮想軸は、前記医療デバイスの前記開口を通過し、前記ツール挿入軸と整列している、医療デバイス。 - 前記協調的な複数のコイルは、第1のコイルと第2のコイルとを備え、前記第1のコイルは前記医療デバイスの前記中心軸と同軸に配置され、前記第2のコイルは前記第1のコイルに対して垂直に配置される、請求項5に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルのうちの少なくとも一方は、円筒対称である、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルは、円筒対称である、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルは、ワイヤ巻き線のループから成り、前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルのうちの少なくとも一方の前記ループは、前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルのうちの前記少なくとも一方を通過する長さ方向軸に対して略垂直な領域を画定する、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルは、ワイヤ巻き線のループから成り、前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルの前記ループは、前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルの各々を通過する長さ方向軸に対して略垂直な領域を画定する、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルは、それぞれN1及びN2巻きのワイヤ巻き線のループから成り、ここでNは巻き数であり、
前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルは、それぞれA1及びA2の断面積を有し、それぞれのコイル感度値S1及びS2は、各それぞれのコイルについてN・Aの乗算した積であり、N1>N2である、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。 - 前記第1のコイルは前記チャンネルと同心であり、前記第2のコイルは前記チャンネルの側部に位置する、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記第1のコイル及び前記第2のコイルは、電気的に直列に接続される、請求項6に記載の医療デバイス。
- 前記協調的な複数のコイルは、並列配置された第1のコイルと第2のコイルとから成る、請求項5に記載の医療デバイス。
