Claims (8)
- 薬剤送達デバイスに取り付けられるように構成され、取り付けられたとき、薬剤送達デバイスを照明するように構成されたセンサデバイスであって:
センサデバイスを取り付けたときに薬剤送達デバイスに面するように構成された第1の表面と、該第1の表面と反対側の第2の表面と、第1と第2の表面の間を延びる少なくとも1つの側部表面と、光が光ガイドに入力されたとき拡散光を第1の表面から発光させるように構成された光出力結合構造とを有する、光ガイドであって、該光出力結合構造は、第1の表面の一部であり、該光ガイドは、光出力結合構造を有していない領域を含み、該光出力結合構造を有していない領域は、透明な材料でできた領域を含む、光ガイドと;
第2の表面に隣接し、該第2の表面を通って光ガイドを脱した光を反射して光ガイド内に戻すように構成された反射性バッキング層と、
光ガイドの少なくとも1つの側部表面を介して光を光ガイド内に入力結合するように構成された少なくとも1つの光源と;
薬剤送達デバイスの表面から反射された光を受けるように配置された光学センサとを含む、前記センサデバイス。 - 光学センサは、センサデバイスが薬剤送達デバイスに取り付けられたとき、光出力結合構造を有していない領域を通して薬剤送達デバイスの表面の所定の領域を見るように配置される、請求項1に記載のセンサデバイス。
- 薬剤送達デバイスの表面から反射された光の焦点を、光学センサ上に合わせるように構成されたレンズ組立体をさらに含む、請求項1または2に記載のセンサデバイス。
- センサからの光強度信号を受けるように、また、受けられた信号に対して光学文字認識プロセスを実行して薬物送達デバイスの表面上に見ることができる文字および/または数字などの文字を決定するように構成されたプロセッサをさらに含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のセンサデバイス。
- プロセッサは、さらに、薬物送達デバイス内にダイヤルされた薬剤の量を決定するように、また、薬剤の量を薬物送達デバイスのディスプレイデバイス上に表示させるように構成される、請求項4に記載のセンサデバイス。
- 光ガイドの第1および第2の表面は、湾曲している、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のセンサデバイス。
- 光ガイドの第1および第2の表面は、薬剤送達デバイスの表面とほぼ同心である、請求項6に記載のセンサデバイス。
- センサデバイスは、少なくとも1つの追加の光ガイドを含み、光ガイドおよび追加の光ガイドは、光ガイドのいずれもが薬剤送達デバイスの表面の光学センサの視界を阻まないように配置される、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載のセンサデバイス。
