Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係る無段変速機1を用いた自転車100の概要図である。図1に示すように、この自転車100は、前輪110、後輪120、ペダル130、ローラチェーン140、および無段変速機1を有する。無段変速機1は、後輪120のホイール121の中央に設けられたハブに内装される。ユーザが、ペダル130を順方向にこぐと、ペダル130の回転運動が、ローラチェーン140を介して無段変速機1へ伝達される。また、無段変速機1は、ローラチェーン140から受ける回転運動を変速させて、後輪120へ伝達する。後輪120は、無段変速機1により変速された回転数で回転する。なお、自転車100は、ペダル130の回転運動を補助するための電動機を有していてもよい。
図2〜図4は、無段変速機1の縦断面図である。この無段変速機1は、ローラチェーン140から得られる回転運動を、等速で、あるいは減速または増速して、後輪120へ出力する機構である。図2は、等速時の無段変速機1の断面を示している。図3は、減速時の無段変速機1の断面を示している。図4は、増速時の無段変速機1の断面を示している。図2〜図4に示すように、本実施形態の無段変速機1は、中空シャフト10、入力回転体20、複数の遊星ローラ30、ガイド部材40、可動リング50、コイルばね60、および出力回転体70を有する。
続いて、上述した無段変速機1の変速動作について、説明する。
以上、本発明の例示的な実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記の実施形態には限定されない。

Claims (19)
- 無段変速機であって、
主軸を中心として、変速前の回転数で回転する入力回転体と、
前記主軸を中心として、変速後の回転数で回転する出力回転体と、
前記主軸の周囲に配置され、自転軸を中心として自転可能な複数の遊星ローラと、
前記自転軸の両端部の位置を制限するガイド部材と、
前記主軸と前記遊星ローラとの間において前記主軸を中心として回転可能であり、かつ
、軸方向に移動可能な円環状の可動リングと、
軸方向に伸縮可能な弾性部材と、
を備え、
前記遊星ローラは、
前記入力回転体に接触する円錐状の第1傾斜面と、
前記出力回転体に接触する円錐状の第2傾斜面と、
前記可動リングと係合する環状凹部または環状凸部と、
を有し、
前記ガイド部材は、前記自転軸の両端部を、周方向の異なる位置に保持し、前記遊星ローラを前記周方向に傾斜させ、
前記自転軸の両端部は、前記主軸に対して径方向に変位可能に、前記ガイド部材に保持され、
前記弾性部材が、前記可動リングを軸方向に加圧する無段変速機。 - 請求項1に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記主軸に沿って延びる円筒状の中空シャフト
をさらに備え、
前記入力回転体、前記出力回転体、および前記可動リングは、それぞれ、前記中空シャフトに軸受を介して支持される無段変速機。 - 請求項2に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記弾性部材は、前記中空シャフトの内部に収容される無段変速機。 - 請求項2または請求項3に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記ガイド部材は、
前記中空シャフトに固定され、前記遊星ローラの前記自転軸の一端が嵌まる第1切り欠きを有する第1ガイド板と、
前記中空シャフトに固定され、前記遊星ローラの前記自転軸の他端が嵌まる第2切り欠きを有する第2ガイド板と、
を有し、
前記第1切り欠きの前記主軸に対する周方向の位置と、前記第2切り欠きの前記主軸に対する周方向の位置とが、異なる無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記環状凹部または前記環状凸部は、前記第1傾斜面と前記第2傾斜面との間に位置する無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記遊星ローラは、前記環状凹部を有し、
前記遊星ローラの前記環状凹部を構成する面に、前記可動リングの外周部が接触する無段変速機。 - 請求項6に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記主軸を含む断面において、前記環状凹部の曲率半径が、前記可動リングの外周部の曲率半径よりも大きい無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記弾性部材は、軸方向の両端部である固定端および自由端を有し、
前記自由端は、前記可動リングに対して軸方向に固定され、
前記固定端の軸方向の位置を調整する調整機構をさらに備える無段変速機。 - 請求項8に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記調整機構は、軸方向に位置決め可能なロッドまたはねじを介して、前記固定端の軸方向の位置を調整する無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項9までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記入力回転体は、
回転方向の負荷に応じて前記遊星ローラへの軸方向の押圧力を発生させる調圧カムを含む無段変速機。 - 請求項10に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記調圧カムは、
軸方向に配列された一対の円環状のカム部材と、
一対の前記カム部材の間に介在する転動体と、
を有し、
一対の前記カム部材は、それぞれ、
前記入力回転体が一方の向きに回転するときに、前記転動体に接触する第1カム面と、
前記入力回転体が他方の向きに回転するときに、前記転動体に接触する第2カム面と、
を有し、
前記第1カム面の周方向に対する角度が、前記第2カム面の周方向に対する角度よりも小さい無段変速機。 - 請求項11に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記第1カム面の周方向に対する角度は、3°以上かつ35°以下であり、
前記第2カム面の周方向に対する角度は、70°以上かつ90°未満である無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項12までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記遊星ローラは、内部に空洞を有する無段変速機。 - 請求項13に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記遊星ローラは、
前記第1傾斜面を有する円錐状の第1遊星部材と、
前記第2傾斜面を有する円錐状の第2遊星部材と、
を有する無段変速機。 - 請求項14に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記第1遊星部材は、前記第1遊星部材の頂点へ向かうにつれて軸方向または径方向の厚みが増し、
前記第2遊星部材は、前記第2遊星部材の頂点へ向かうにつれて軸方向または径方向の厚みが増す無段変速機。 - 請求項14または請求項15に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記環状凹部または前記環状凸部の全体が、前記第1遊星部材および前記第2遊星部材のいずれか一方に属する無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項16までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
前記自転軸を含む断面において、前記第1傾斜面の母線および前記第2傾斜面の母線が、それぞれ、凸状に湾曲する無段変速機。 - 請求項1から請求項17までのいずれか1項に記載の無段変速機であって、
自転車に用いられる無段変速機。 - 請求項18に記載の無段変速機を用いた自転車。
