Description
(式中、B1は、Mg、Zn、Yb、Ni、Se、InおよびScからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を示し、B2は、Nb、TaおよびWからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を示し、xは、xは0<x<1の数値範囲の原子割合を示す。)
本発明[2]は、前記第1誘電体が、一般式(1)において、B1が、Mgであり、B2が、Nbであり、xが、1/4以上、1/2以下の化合物であり、前記第2誘電体が、PbTiO3である、上記[1]に記載の発電材料を含んでいる。
(式中、B1は、Mg、Zn、Yb、Ni、Se、InおよびScからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を示し、B2は、Nb、TaおよびWからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を示し、xは、xは0<x<1の数値範囲の原子割合を示す。)
一般式(1)で示されるように、第1誘電体は、A(B1,B2)O3で示される複合ペロブスカイト型構造において、AサイトをPb(鉛)元素が占めている。すなわち、第1誘電体は、鉛系誘電体である。
参考実施例1
発電材料として、リラクサー・強誘電体固溶体:0.75Pb(Mg1/3Nb2/3)O3−0.25PbTiO3多結晶(豊島製作所製、キュリー温度130℃、圧電特性d33:1500pC/N以上)の市販品を用意した。これを、そのまま発電素子とした。
発電材料として、NbおよびSn添加PZT(Nb/Sn/Pb(Zr,Ti)O3)を用意した。そして、発電材料を金型に充填し、放電プラズマ焼結機(SPSシンテックス株式会社製)を用い、パルス通電焼結法を採用して、50MPaで900℃において5分間加熱することにより、直径20mmの成形体を得た。これにより、発電材料からなる発電素子を得た。
(1)発電性能1(電圧印加なし)
参考実施例1および比較例1で得られた発電素子を第1デバイスとし、厚みを0.5mmサイズに研削した。次いで、その表面および裏面に、金スパッタを用いて金イオンを約10分間蒸着させ、金電極(第2デバイス)を形成した。
上記(1)発電性能1と同様の方法において、発電素子を加熱している間に、電圧印加装置(型番:MODEL677B、トレックジャパン社製)によって発電素子に電圧を印加した以外は、上記と同様にして発電電圧(電力)を取り出した。

- 下記一般式(1)で示されるリラクサーペロブスカイト型結晶構造を有する第1誘電体と、
下記一般式(1)で示されるリラクサーペロブスカイト型結晶構造を有していない強誘電体からなる第2誘電体との固溶体からなることを特徴とする、発電材料。
Pb(B1 xB2 1−x)O3 (1)
(式中、B1は、Yb、Ni、SeおよびScからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を示し、B2は、Nb、TaおよびWからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種を示し、xは、xは0<x<1の数値範囲の原子割合を示す。) - 請求項1に記載の発電材料からなることを特徴とする、発電素子。
- 温度が経時的に上下する熱源と、
請求項2に記載の発電素子からなり、前記熱源の温度変化により電気分極する第1デバイスと、
前記第1デバイスから電力を取り出すための第2デバイスと
を備えることを特徴とする、発電システム。
