3.化粧料の評価
実施例、比較例の化粧料について固形化状態、硬度及び使用感の官能評価を行った。評価基準は次のとおりである。なお、常温とは25℃±2℃である。
(1)固形化(常温、40℃)
ガラス容器とジャータイプの樹脂容器に充填されたそれぞれの化粧料を恒温槽(常温、40℃)に保管し、24時間後の化粧料の外観を目視観察し、下記基準により固形化を評価した。
○:流動性はなく、固形化が形成されている
×:流動性(液状もしくはクリーム状)があるか、固形化が不完全である
なお、ガラス容器と樹脂容器とで違いは認められなかったので、表のこの項目の記載は一つである。

4.評価結果
各評価項目について評価結果を表1及び表2に示した。
実施例(1〜8)の化粧料は、使用時の油っぽい感触が抑えられ、滑らかに溶けて良好な使用感であり、常温・高温時の固形化、冷温時の凝縮抑制(容器に充填後の隙間発生がない)、外観(化粧料の表面が均一)の全ての評価項目において良好な結果を示した。
一方、比較例(1〜11)の化粧料は、いずれかの評価項目あるいは複数の評価項目が不良との評価であった。
水相の含有量は化粧料の固形化に重要な影響を及ぼすが、比較例1に示すとおり、水溶性増粘剤を含む水相(E)の含有量が16.5質量%の場合、その他の(A)、(B)、(C)、(D)成分が必要量に到達していても固形化しなかった。このことから、水溶性増粘剤を含む水相の含有量は化粧料当たり30質量%以上含有することが必要と結論付けた。
また、(A)成分:フェニル変性シリコーンと(D)成分:常温で固形状の油剤の配合比率A/Dは、実施例4及び比較例2の対比から、0.8以上とすると好ましい油中水型固形乳化化粧料となることが確認できた。
一般的に固形乳化化粧料の硬度は、形状(固形化)の安定化や使用感(滑らかに溶ける)に直結する要素(パラメーター)であり、硬度が低い場合は高温時(40℃)での固形化が維持できず、逆に硬度が高すぎると冷温時(5℃)の凝縮抑制ができない(すなわち容器との隙間が発生する)、使用感が悪い(滑らかに溶けない)といった問題が発生する。例えば、従来技術に相当する組成の比較例4は硬度が40、比較例8は硬度が31、比較例9は硬度が41と低めであるが、これらの組成では、常温では固形化するが40℃では固形化できていない。また、比較例10は硬度が113と高めであるが、固形化に問題はないものの、滑らかに溶けず使用感に問題が生じ、また組成物の凝縮による容器との隙間も発生している。
これに対して、本発明の構成をとることで形状(特に40℃での固形化)の安定化と良好な使用感(滑らかに溶ける)、冷温時(5℃)の凝縮抑制(容器との隙間が発生しない)が達成された。ここでさらに実施例の硬度に着目すると、実施例5は硬度が39、実施例6は硬度が35、実施例7は硬度が40、実施例8は硬度が39であった。この数値は先に述べた比較例4、比較例8、比較例9の硬度と同様な数値である。しかしながら、40℃という高温条件下にあっても本発明の構成をとることで固形化が達成されている。このように通常であれば固形化しないような硬度で固形化し、滑らかに溶ける使用感及び凝縮抑制(容器との隙間が発生しない)が実現できたことは、優れた点であると評価した。
実施例1〜8の評価結果から、特に下記組成の油中水型乳化化粧料とすると、形状(40℃での固形化)の安定性や使用感(滑らかに溶ける)、冷温時(5℃)の凝縮抑制(容器との隙間が発生しない)、化粧料表面の均一化、のすべての項目が達成されることが分かった。
(A)フェニル変性シリコーン 5〜20質量%
(B)ポリエーテル変性シリコーン 1〜5質量%
(C)HLBが5未満のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル 0.5〜5質量%
(D)常温で固形状の油剤 3〜12質量%
(E)水溶性増粘剤を含む水相 30〜70質量%
そして、本発明の構成をとることで化粧料の硬度を35〜81とすることができ、前記すべての項目において良好な油中水型固形乳化化粧料が得られることが分かった。
またさらに検討した結果、本発明においてはポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルのHLB値の選択が重要であることが分かった。すなわち実施例1〜8で用いたポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル(トリイソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル−2:HLB1.3、イソステアリン酸ポリグリセリル−2:HLB4.6、ペンタオレイン酸ポリグリセリル−10:HLB3.5)は乳化の状態を補助し、固形化及びその安定化を高める効果が認められたが、比較例5〜8で示すようにHLBが5以上の場合では乳化状態を阻害してしまい、油中水型固形乳化化粧料の安定性が損なわれる(40℃で固形化しない)結果となった。また、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルを全く配合しない場合も同様に固形化しなかった。
すなわち、前記評価項目のすべてを達成するためにはポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルの配合が必須であり、実施例1〜8で示したとおりHLBが5未満のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルを使用する必要があることを確認した。
本発明の構成ではHLBが5未満のポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルを配合することで、3〜12質量%といった比較的少ない量の固形油の配合でも高温時(40℃)における固形化が維持・安定化されるため、例えば比較例10のように固形油を13質量%と多量に配合しなくてもよいことが分かった。また、油剤中の固形油が均一に混ざることを目的としてB成分:ポリエーテル変性シリコーンやA成分:フェニル変性シリコーンを配合しているので、油中水型固形乳化化粧料独特の油っぽさや塗布時に溶け残る感触(滑らかに溶けない)が抑制され、煩雑な使用感の調整が不要となることが確認された。

The content of the aqueous phase has an important effect on the solidification of the cosmetic, but as shown in Comparative Example 1, when the content of the aqueous phase (E) containing the water-soluble thickener is 16.5% by mass, Even if the other components (A), (B), (C), and (D) reached the required amount, they did not solidify. From this, it was concluded that the content of the aqueous phase containing the water-soluble thickener should be 30% by mass or more per cosmetic.
Further, the blending ratio A / D of the component (A): phenyl-modified silicone and the component (D): an oil agent solid at room temperature is preferably 0.8 or more in the oil in comparison with Example 4 and Comparative Example 2. It was confirmed that it was a water-type solid emulsified cosmetic.
In general, the hardness of solid emulsified cosmetics is an element (parameter) that is directly linked to the stabilization of shape (solidification) and the feeling of use (smooth melting), and when the hardness is low, it is at high temperature (40 ° C). Solidification cannot be maintained, and conversely, if the hardness is too high, condensation cannot be suppressed at cold temperature (5 ° C) (that is, a gap with the container is generated), and the usability is poor (it does not melt smoothly). To do. For example, Comparative Example 4 having a composition corresponding to the prior art has a hardness of 40, Comparative Example 8 has a hardness of 31, and Comparative Example 9 has a hardness of 41, which are low. Further focusing on the hardness of Examples, Example 5 had a hardness of 39, Example 6 had a hardness of 35, Example 7 had a hardness of 40, and Example 8 had a hardness of 39. This numerical value is the same as the hardness of Comparative Example 4, Comparative Example 8 and Comparative Example 9 described above. However, solidification is achieved by adopting the configuration of the present invention even under the high temperature condition of 40 ° C. As a result of further studies, it was found that the selection of the HLB value of the polyglycerin fatty acid ester is important in the present invention. That is, the polyglycerin fatty acid esters used in Examples 1 to 8 (polyglyceryl triisostearate-2: HLB1.3, polyglyceryl isostearate-2: HLB4.6, polyglyceryl pentaoleate-10: HLB3.5) are in an emulsified state. However, as shown in Comparative Examples 5 to 8, the emulsified state was hindered when the HLB was 5 or more, and the water-in-oil solid emulsified cosmetics were found to have the effect of assisting the solidification and enhancing the stabilization thereof. The result was that the stability of the material was impaired (it did not solidify at 40 ° C). Similarly, when no polyglycerin fatty acid ester was blended, it did not solidify.
That is, in order to achieve all of the above evaluation items, it is essential to mix the polyglycerin fatty acid ester, and as shown in Examples 1 to 8, it is necessary to use the polyglycerin fatty acid ester having an HLB of less than 5. confirmed.
In the configuration of the present invention, by blending a polyglycerin fatty acid ester having an HLB of less than 5, solidification at high temperature (40 ° C.) is maintained and stabilized even when a relatively small amount of solid oil such as 3 to 12% by mass is blended. Therefore, it was found that it is not necessary to add a large amount of solid oil as 13% by mass as in Comparative Example 10. In addition, since the component B: polyether-modified silicone and the component A: phenyl-modified silicone are blended for the purpose of uniformly mixing the solid oil in the oil agent, the oiliness peculiar to the water-based solid emulsified cosmetic in oil It was confirmed that the feeling of remaining undissolved during application (which does not dissolve smoothly) is suppressed, and complicated adjustment of usability is not required.
