Description

Claims (31)
- 液化天然ガス(LNG)を生産する方法であって、
液体窒素を液化船に輸送する段階と、
天然ガスストリームを前記液化船に輸送する段階と、
前記天然ガスストリームと輸送された前記液体窒素からの液体窒素ストリームの間で熱交換して該液体窒素ストリームを少なくとも部分的に気化させる少なくとも1つの熱交換器を使用して前記液化船上で該天然ガスストリームを液化させ、それによって加温窒素ガスストリームとLNGを含む少なくとも部分的に凝縮した天然ガスストリームとを形成する段階と、
前記LNGを前記液化船において内部にLNGを排他的に貯蔵するタンク内に貯蔵し、輸送する段階と、
を含み、
前記液化船は、液体窒素を排他的に貯蔵し、内部で移送する少なくとも1つのタンクと、LNG又は前記液体窒素のいずれかを貯蔵する少なくとも1つのタンクとをさらに有している、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記天然ガスストリームを前記液化船に輸送する段階の前に、リザーバから天然ガスを産出し、かつ前記産出された天然ガスを処理してそこから水、重質炭化水素、及び酸性ガスのうちの少なくとも1つを除去する浮遊式産出ユニット(FPU)船から前記天然ガスストリームを取得する段階、を更に含む、
請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記加温窒素ガスストリームを前記FPU船に輸送する段階と、
前記FPU船上の工程内で前記加温窒素ガスストリームを使用する段階と、を更に含む、
請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記FPU上で前記加温窒素ガスストリームを圧縮して、圧縮加温窒素ガスストリームを生成する段階と、
圧力維持のために前記圧縮加温窒素ガスストリームをリザーバの中に注入する段階と、を更に含む、
請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記加温窒素ガスストリームの圧力を低減して少なくとも1つの更に冷却された窒素ガスストリームを生成する段階と、
前記少なくとも1つの更に冷却された窒素ガスストリームと前記天然ガスストリームとの間で熱交換して更に加温された窒素ガスストリームを形成する段階と、を更に含む、
請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記加温窒素ガスストリームの前記圧力は、少なくとも1つの膨張器サービスを使用して低減される、
請求項5に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの膨張器サービスに結合された少なくとも1つの発電機から電力を発生させる段階を更に含む、
請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの更に冷却された窒素ガスストリームは、前記天然ガスストリームと熱交換して加温窒素ガスストリームを形成する、
請求項5ないし7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記液化船に接続、切断、及び再接続されるように構成された係留浮遊式切断可能ターレットを通じて該液化船に前記天然ガスストリームを輸送する段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記天然ガスストリームが液化されている間に前記液化船を輸出ターミナルに着岸させる段階を更に含む、
請求項9に記載の方法。 - 単一液化船が、輸出ターミナルでのLNG生産及び貯蔵に使用され、
方法が、
LNG運搬船、液体窒素運搬船、及び二重目的運搬船のうちの1よりも多くを使用して前記輸出ターミナルでLNGを貯蔵し、かつ輸入ターミナルに該LNGを輸送する段階を更に含む、
請求項9に記載の方法。 - 陸上ガスパイプラインに接続されて前記液化船に接続、切断、及び再接続されるように構成された載荷アームを通じて前記天然ガスストリームを該液化船に輸送する段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし11のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記液化船に接続、切断、及び再接続されるように構成された極低温液体載荷アームを通じて個別の船から前記液化船まで液体窒素を輸送する段階であって、前記液体窒素ストリームが、該輸送された液体窒素を含む前記輸送する段階を更に含む、
請求項12に記載の方法。 - 前記液化船に接続、切断、及び再接続されるように構成された極低温液体載荷アームを通じて該液化船から個別の船まで前記LNGを輸送する段階を更に含む、
請求項12に記載の方法。 - LNG輸入ターミナルにおいて、前記LNGのガス化から利用可能なエネルギを使用して窒素ガスを液化し、それによって前記液体窒素ストリーム内に該液化された窒素を形成する段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし14のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記天然ガスストリームを前記液化船まで輸送する段階の前に、該天然ガスストリームを約−40℃よりも低くない温度まで冷却する段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし15のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 天然ガスを処理してそこから水、重質炭化水素、及び酸性ガスのうちの少なくとも1つを除去して前記天然ガスストリームを生成する陸上施設から該天然ガスストリームを取得する段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし16のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 液化ターンダウン又は停止期間中に、液体窒素及び液体窒素ボイルオフガスのうちの一方を使用して前記液化船上の液化機器の温度を維持する段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし17のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 気化した窒素ガスを、前記液体窒素を使用して液化させる段階を更に含む、
請求項1ないし18のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 液化船上でのLNG生産間の期間中に前記少なくとも1つの熱交換器の霜取りを行うための加温窒素ガスの使用を更に含む、
請求項1ないし19のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 天然ガスストリームを液化するためのシステムであって、
第1の場所から第2の場所まで液化天然ガスを輸送し、かつ液化窒素(LIN)を該第1の場所まで輸送する液化船を備え、
前記液化船は、
LINを排他的に貯蔵する少なくとも1つのタンクと、
内部でのLNG貯蔵のために排他的に指定された少なくとも1つのタンクと、
内部にLIN又はLNGのいずれかを貯蔵するための少なくとも1つのタンクと、
少なくとも1つの熱交換器を含むLNG液化システムと、を備え、
前記熱交換器は、前記液化船上に貯蔵されたLINからのLINストリームと該液化船に輸送された前記天然ガスストリームとの間で熱を交換して該LINストリームを少なくとも部分的に気化させ、それによって加温窒素ガスストリーム及びLNGを含む少なくとも部分的に凝縮した天然ガスストリームを形成し、前記LNGは、前記第2の場所まで輸送されるように、該液化船上で内部にLNGを貯蔵するために排他的に指定された少なくとも1つのタンク内に貯蔵されるように構成されている、
ことを特徴とするシステム。 - リザーバから前記天然ガスストリームを産出し、かつ該天然ガスストリームを前記液化船まで輸送する前に該天然ガスストリームから水、重質炭化水素、及び酸性ガスのうちの少なくとも1つを除去するように構成された浮遊式産出ユニット(FPU)船、を更に備えている、
請求項21に記載のシステム。 - 前記加温窒素ガスストリームの圧力が、少なくとも1つの更に冷却された窒素ガスストリームを生成するように低減され、
システムが、
前記少なくとも1つの更に冷却された窒素ガスストリームと前記天然ガスストリームとの間で熱交換し、それによって更に加温された窒素ガスストリームを形成するように構成された第2の熱交換器を更に備えている、
請求項21又は22に記載のシステム。 - 前記加温窒素ガスストリームの圧力を低減するように構成された少なくとも1つの膨張器サービスを更に備えている、

請求項23ないし27のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 前記液化船に接続、切断、及び再接続されるように構成された係留浮遊式切断可能ターレットを更に備え、
前記天然ガスストリームは、前記係留浮遊式切断可能ターレットを通じて前記液化船まで輸送される、
請求項21ないし28のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。 - 単一液化船が、輸出ターミナルでのLNG生産及び貯蔵に使用され、
システムが、
LNG運搬船、液体窒素運搬船、及び二重目的運搬船のうちの1よりも多くを使用して輸出ターミナルでLNGを貯蔵し、かつ輸入ターミナルまで該LNGを輸送すること、を更に含む、
請求項29に記載のシステム。 - 個別の船から前記液化船までLINを輸送するための極低温液体載荷アームを更に備え、
前記極低温液体載荷アームは、前記液化船に接続、切断、及び再接続されるように構成される、
請求項21ないし30のいずれか1項に記載のシステム。
