A:前記補強部材の板厚中心の外側にある前記FRPの層の前記0°方向成分

C:前記複数のFRPの層の層全体における前記0°方向成分
D:前記複数のFRPの層の層全体における前記90°方向成分
K:前記パネルの長辺の長さ/前記パネルの短辺の長さ
補強部材(FRP部材とも称する)に用いられ得るFRPは、マトリックス樹脂と、該マトリックス樹脂中に含有され、複合化された強化繊維材料からなる、繊維強化樹脂を意味する。
補強部材がFRP部材等により形成される場合、FRP部材と金属部材(図1の例ではパネル2)との間に接着樹脂層(図示は省略されている)が設けられ、該接着樹脂層によりFRP部材と金属部材とが接合されてもよい。
本発明に係る金属部材は、熱間圧延鋼板や冷間圧延鋼板であってもよいが、それらの鋼板にめっきされていてもよい。これにより、耐食性が向上する。特に、金属部材が鋼材である場合は、より好適である。めっきの種類は特に限定されず、公知のめっきを用いることができる。例えば、めっき鋼板(鋼材)として、溶融亜鉛めっき鋼板、溶融合金化亜鉛めっき鋼板、Zn−Al−Mg系合金めっき鋼板、アルミニウムめっき鋼板、電気亜鉛めっき鋼板、電気Zn−Ni系合金めっき鋼板等が用いられ得る。金属部材の板厚を特に限定する必要はないが、例えば自動車用部材では0.60〜3.2mm程度の場合が多い。

(繊維方向の角度差が30°以上となるFRP層の割合が層全体の15%以上)
図9は補強部材3の層構造を説明するための図である。補強部材3を構成する複数のFRPの層の各々はそれぞれ一の繊維方向からなり、複数のFRPの層のうち少なくとも一つの層は他の層とは異なる繊維方向を有している。図9に示される例においては、FRPが6層構造となっており、複数のFRPの層のうち、パネル2の面2b寄りの4層においては連続繊維が0°方向に配向されており、残りの2層においては連続繊維が90°方向に配向されている。なお、本明細書においては、連続繊維が一の特定の方向に配向された層のことを“配向層”と称す。例えば繊維が0°方向に配向された層については0°配向層と称し、90°方向に配向された層については90°配向層と称す。すなわち、図9に示される補強部材3は、四つの0°配向層3aと二つの90°配向層を有している。

本明細書では、0°方向成分(パネル2の短手方向に平行な成分)および90°方向成分(パネル2の長手方向に平行な成分)を次のように算出することとする。ここでは、パネルに接合されている補強部材を構成するFRPの層全体において、2種類の繊維方向が含まれている例を示す。図10は、0°方向とのなす角(鋭角)がθ1となる第1の繊維方向を有するFRPの層を示し、図11は、0°方向とのなす角(鋭角)がθ2となる第2の繊維方向を有するFRPの層を示している。第1の繊維方向と第2の繊維方向は互いに異なる方向である。本明細書における“0°方向成分”は、FRPの層の繊維方向について、三角関数を用いて0°方向成分(つまり、cosθ1、またはcosθ2)と90°方向成分(つまり、cos(90°−θ1)=sinθ1、またはcos(90°−θ2)=sinθ2)に成分分解することで算出された0°方向成分の絶対値である。また、本明細書における“90°方向成分”は、FRPの層の繊維方向について、三角関数を用いて0°方向成分と90°方向成分に成分分解することで算出された90°方向成分の絶対値である。

c5, c7〜c10のパネル構造も、前述のCASE a12〜a20と同様に張り剛性の質量効率に優れた構造である。すなわち、本発明に係るパネル構造は、パネルの形状指数Kに関わらず、張り剛性と軽量化を高いレベルで両立させることができる構造である。
a13とCASE a20は、補強部材のサイズ(面積)が互いに異なっている。詳述すると、CASE a13では、CASE A20を除く他の実施例と同様にパネルの面積の100%の領域に補強部材が接合され、CASE a20では、パネルの面積の80%の領域に補強部材が接合されている。CASE
a13とCASE a20は、補強部材のサイズ以外の条件が互いに同一の条件下で張り剛性が評価されているが、2mmストローク時荷重は共に高い値であった。本結果によれば、補強部材がパネルの面全体に接合されていない場合であっても、張り剛性の向上効果が十分に得られることがわかる。

Claims (11)
- 金属製のパネルと、
前記パネルの周縁部に配置された、該パネルの周囲を拘束する金属製の中空フレームと、
前記パネルの片面にのみ接合された、連続繊維を含む複数のFRPの層からなる補強部材と、を備え、
前記複数のFRPの層の各々はそれぞれ一の繊維方向からなり、
前記複数のFRPの層のうち、少なくとも一つの層は他の層とは異なる繊維方向を有し、
前記複数のFRPの層において、繊維方向の角度差が30°以上となる層の割合が層全体の15%以上であり、
前記パネルの長辺の長さ方向である長手方向を90°方向、および前記90°方向に直交する方向を0°方向と定義し、前記パネルに接合されている前記補強部材の各FRPの層の繊維方向について、三角関数を用いて90°方向成分および0°方向成分をそれぞれ算出した場合において、下記式(1)を満たす、パネル構造。
