前記式1において、IG/IDは、共鳴ラマン散乱測定法によるスペクトル1560cm-1以上1600cm-1以下の範囲で最大ピーク強度IG、1310cm-1以上1350cm-1以下の範囲で最大ピーク強度IDを意味する。

前記式1において、Aは、還元ガスに対する炭素源のmol比(炭素源/還元ガス)である。
フェロセン触媒前駆体を0.5g/hr、硫黄触媒活性剤を0.135g/hrの速度で気化して投入し、炭素化合物としてメタンを115〜152.5ml/minの速度で、運搬気体(水素)は、1.8〜2.2L/minの速度で、1200℃の温度である円筒状の反応器の上端に流入させた。そして、反応器下端の排出口に排出されるカーボンナノチューブ繊維をボビン(bobbin)で構成された巻回手段で巻いた。メタンと水素ガスとのmol比を下記表1のように調節した。
前記実施例1及び比較例1によるカーボンナノチューブ繊維のIGとID値との比を確認するために、DXRTM 2 Raman Microscope(ThermoFisher Scientific)装備を使用した。1560cm-1以上1600cm-1以下の範囲で最大ピーク強度IG、1310cm-1以上1350cm-1以下の範囲で最大ピーク強度IDでラマンスペクトルの分析を実施した後、その結果を図2に示した。
製造されたカーボンナノチューブ繊維のIG/IDを測定して、下記表2に示した。IG/IDと供給源のmol比の関係を確認するために、同じデータを図3に示した。

図3に示された基準線は、下記の関係式を有する。

Claims (11)
- 炭素源を含む紡糸原料を還元ガスを含むキャリアガス存在下で紡糸して、カーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体を製造する方法において、
キャリアガスのうち、還元ガスと炭素源とのmol比[炭素源/還元ガス]を0.047以上0.065未満に調節して、単層カーボンナノチューブからなるカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体を製造しており、
前記紡糸原料の供給流量は、50〜500mL/minの範囲、前記キャリアガスの供給流量は、1〜5L/minの範囲から選択されるカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。 - 還元ガスに対する炭素源のmol比(A)とIG/IDの値が、下記数式1を満足する請求項1に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法:

前記式において、
IG/IDは、共鳴ラマン散乱測定法によるスペクトル1560cm-1以上1600cm-1以下の範囲で最大ピーク強度IG、1310cm-1以上1350cm-1以下の範囲で最大ピーク強度IDを意味する。 - 数式1のIG/ID値が、IG/ID>6を満足する請求項2に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記還元ガスが、水素ガス、アンモニアガスまたはこれらの混合ガスを含む請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記キャリアガスが、不活性ガスをさらに含む請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記紡糸原料が、液相または気相の炭素化合物に触媒前駆体が分散されている請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記液相または気相の炭素化合物は、メタン、エチレン、アセチレン、メチルアセチレン、ビニルアセチレン、エタノール、メタノール、プロパノール、アセトン、キシレン、クロロホルム、酢酸エチル、ジエチルエーテル、ポリエチレングリコール、ギ酸エチル、メシチレン、テトラヒドロフラン(THF)、ジメチルホルムアミド(DMF)、ジクロロメタン、ヘキサン、ベンゼン、四塩化炭素、及びペンタンで構成されたグループから選択された1つ以上を含む請求項6に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記触媒前駆体は、鉄、ニッケル、コバルト、白金、ルテニウム、モリブデン、バナジウム、及びそれらの酸化物からなるグループから選択される1つ以上を含む請求項6又は7に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記触媒前駆体が、メタロセンの形態である請求項6〜8の何れか一項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 紡糸原料からカーボンナノチューブを形成し、それを連続して融合してカーボンナノチューブ繊維を直接紡糸する請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
- 前記紡糸原料の供給流量は、80〜200mL/minの範囲、前記キャリアガスの供給流量は、1.5〜3L/minの範囲から選択される請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載のカーボンナノチューブ繊維集合体の製造方法。
