Description
本願は、参照によりその内容の全体をあらゆる目的のために本明細書に組み込む、2015年1月23日出願の「NASAL/ORAL CANNULA SYSTEM AND MANUFACTURING」と題する米国仮特許出願の米国特許法第119条(e)に基づく利益を主張するものである。
Claims (13)
- 呼気の流れを収集する呼吸カニューレであって、
第1の端部と第2の端部の間に延びる細長い中空管状体であり、内部容量を画定する管状体と、
該管状体内に内部配置された壁面であり、該管状体の長手方向に該内部容量の第1の部分容量を画定する壁面と、
該管状体から延びる第1および第2の中空鼻孔プロングであり、該第1および第2の中空プロングのうちの1つが該内部容量の該第1の部分容量と流体連絡した吸気口を含み、
患者の鼻孔から吐き出される気体を該第1の部分容量に移送するように構成される第1および第2の中空鼻孔プロングと、
該吸気口と該内部容量の接続部で該管状体を通って延びる開口とを含み、
該第1の端部が、該部分容量からの該気体の出口ポートを画定し、
該壁面と該吸気口との間に呼気が流れる空隙容量が生じないように、該壁面が該吸気口に直接接触して配置される、呼吸カニューレ。 - 前記壁面が、前記管状体内に配置されて前記吸気口から前記出口ポートまでの呼気の流路を提供し、前記第1の部分容量の基本的に全体が前記流路の一部を形成するようになっている、請求項1に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記管状体が、長さLをさらに含み、前記吸気口が、前記第1の端部からL/2未満の距離に配置される、請求項1または2に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記第1および第2の中空プロングが、前記管状体から離れるように実質的に直交して延びる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記第1および第2の中空プロングのうちの2つ目が、前記管状体を通って延びる第2の穴として構成される追加の吸気口を含み、該追加の吸気口が、前記第1の端部からL/2未満の距離に配置される、請求項3に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記管状体が、長さLをさらに含み、前記吸気口が、前記第1の端部からL/2超の距離に配置される、請求項1または2に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記第1および第2の中空プロングのうちの2つ目が、前記管状体を通って延びる第2の穴として構成される追加の吸気口を含み、該追加の吸気口が、前記第1の端部からL/2未満の距離に配置される、請求項6に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記管状体から延び、前記管状体を通って延びる第3の穴として構成される第3の吸気口を含む、第3の中空プロングをさらに含み、該第2第3の吸気口が、前記第1の端部から約L/2の距離に配置される、請求項7に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記管状体内に内部配置された前記壁面が、前記管状体の長手方向に前記内部容量の第2の部分容量をさらに画定する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記第2の端部が、処置ガスが前記第2の部分容量に入ることを可能にするように構成された入口ポートを画定する、請求項9に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 前記第1および第2の中空プロングのうちの2つ目が、前記管状体を通って延びる第2の穴として構成された吐出口を含み、該吐出口が、前記入口ポートと流体連絡し、前記第2の部分容量から患者に前記処置ガスを移送するように構成される、請求項10に記載の呼吸カニューレ。
- 請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載のカニューレと、
該カニューレから呼気を移送するように適合された第1のノズルであり、該第1のノズルの第1の端部が、該カニューレの第1の端部と対合するようなサイズおよび形状に構成される第1のノズルと、
該カニューレから分析器に呼気を移送するように適合された採取用チューブであり、該第1のノズルの第2の端部と該分析器の間に延びる採取用チューブとを含む、呼吸カニューレ・システム。 - 処置ガスを前記カニューレに供給するように適合された第2のノズルであり、該第2のノズルの第1の端部が、前記カニューレの第2の端部と対合するようなサイズおよび形状に構成される第2のノズルと、
処置ガスを処置ガス源から前記カニューレに移送するように適合された処置ガス・チューブであり、該第2のノズルの第2の端部と該処置ガス源の間に延びる処置ガス・チューブとをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の呼吸カニューレ・システム。
