Claims (4)
- タイヤボディ及びタイヤ圧センサを備えたセルフモニタリングタイヤであって、
前記タイヤボディは、地面と接するトレッドラバーと、リムに接続するためのビードと、前記トレッドラバーの両端部に配置され該両端部から前記ビードに向けて伸びる二つの部分を含むサイドウォール構造と、を有し、
前記タイヤ圧センサは、前記サイドウォール構造の二つの部分の各外表面の間に配置され、前記サイドウォール構造の二つの部分のいずれかの内表面側に埋設され、圧力感知チップと、前記圧力感知チップの全体を覆う保護層と、前記圧力感知チップに達するように前記保護層を突き抜けて設けられたガストンネルと、を有し、前記ガストンネルは、タイヤ内室との自由なガスフローが起きないように前記サイドウォール構造の二つの部分のうち選択された一方の内表面側においてシールされ、タイヤ圧感知は、前記シールされたガストンネル内に存在するガスの圧力を検知することで行われることを特徴とするセルフモニタリングタイヤ。 - 前記タイヤボディに埋設されたワイヤ層を更に備え、
前記タイヤ圧センサは、前記サイドウォール構造の二つの部分いずれか一方の内表面と前記ワイヤ層との間に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のセルフモニタリングタイヤ。 - 前記タイヤ圧センサは、回路ボードと、前記回路ボード上に配置され圧力が検知される圧力感知ゾーンを持つ圧力感知チップと、前記圧力感知チップ及び少なくとも部分的に前記回路ボードを覆って前記圧力感知ゾーンと連通した前記ガストンネルを持つ保護層と、前記回路ボードと電気的に接続され前記圧力感知ゾーンで検知された圧力に関連する情報を無線伝送するためのアンテナを持つ無線伝送デバイスと、を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のセルフモニタリングタイヤ。
- 前記無線伝送デバイスのアンテナは、前記ワイヤ層により構成されることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のセルフモニタリングタイヤ。
