Description
(a) デバイスの存在を検出するために、充電面にデバイスが置かれることに起因して当該デバイスによって加えられる力を検出するステップと、
(b) デバイスが検出されると、当該デバイスへ電力を伝送するために前記誘導結合型の電力送信機をアクティブ化するステップと、
を含む方法が提供される。
(a) 各送信コイルの領域よりもはるかに大きい領域を有する1つ以上の検出コイルを利用して、前記充電面に近接したデバイスの存在を検出するステップであって、前記検出を実行するように前記1つ以上の検出コイルを駆動することを含む、ステップと、
(b) デバイスが検出されると、当該デバイスへ電力を伝送するために前記誘導結合型の電力送信機をアクティブ化するステップと、
を含む方法が提供される。
Claims (7)
- 誘導結合型の電力伝送システムにおける誘導結合型の電力送信機をアクティブ化する方法であって、前記誘導結合型の電力送信機は、充電面と誘導結合型の電力受信機を含むデバイスとに近接する複数の送信コイルを有し、前記方法は、
(a) 各送信コイルの領域よりも大きい領域を有する1つ以上の検出コイルを利用して、前記充電面に近接したデバイスの存在を検出するステップであって、前記検出を実行するように前記1つ以上の検出コイルを駆動することを含む、ステップと、
(b) デバイスが検出されると、当該デバイスへ電力を伝送するために前記誘導結合型の電力送信機をアクティブ化するステップと、を含み、
前記1つ以上の検出コイルは、前記デバイスの存在に起因した周波数の変化を検出するために駆動及びモニタリングされることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記1つ以上の検出コイルは、複数の送信コイルを取り囲んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 複数の検出コイルのそれぞれが、複数の送信コイルを取り囲んでいることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記周波数の変化は、多数のサイクルにわたってモニタリングされることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記誘導結合型の電力送信機のアクティブ化によって、前記誘導結合型の電力送信機の、スタンバイ状態からのウェイクアップが行われることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記電力送信機が既にアクティブである場合に、前記電力送信機は、更なるデバイスが存在するかを判定することを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 誘導結合型の電力送信機であって、
デバイスの誘導結合型の電力受信機へ電力を伝送するように適合した1つ以上の送信コイルと、
それぞれが前記1つ以上の送信コイルの領域よりも大きい領域を有する1つ以上の検出コイルであって、潜在デバイスの存在を検出し、かつ、前記誘導結合型の電力送信機をアクティブ化するための1つ以上の検出コイルと、を有し、
前記1つ以上の検出コイルは、前記潜在デバイスの存在に起因した周波数の変化を検出するために駆動及びモニタリングされるように構成される、ことを特徴とする誘導結合型の電力送信機。
