Description
本体部から前方へタブを突出させた内導体と、
内部に導体収容室が形成され、前記導体収容室内に前記本体部を収容した状態で前記内導体を保持する誘電体と、
前記誘電体と前記タブを包囲する外導体と、
前記導体収容室を構成し、空気室が形成された壁部とを備えているところに特徴を有する。
以下、本発明を具体化した実施例1を図1〜図13を参照して説明する。尚、以下の説明において、前後の方向については、図1,2,6,7,8,10における左方を前方と定義する。上下の方向については、図8,10にあらわれる向きを、そのまま上方、下方と定義し、図1〜5における上下反転した向きを、上方、下方と定義する。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施例も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)上記実施例1では、第1部品の空気室を底壁部のみに形成したが、空気室は第1部品の側面に形成してもよい。
(2)上記実施例1では、第2部品の空気室を上壁部と側面に形成したが、第2部品の空気室は、上壁部のみに形成してもよい。
(3)上記実施例1では、空気室を誘電体の底壁部と上壁部と側板部に形成したが、空気室は底壁部と上壁部と側板部のいずれか1つのみ、又はいずれか2つのみに形成してもよい。
(4)上記実施例1では、抜止め部を空気室の後端縁部に形成したが、抜止め部は空気室の後端よりも後方の位置に配されていてもよい。
(5)上記実施例1では、空気室が誘電体の内面から外面へ貫通した形態であるが、空気室は、誘電体の内面から外面へ貫通せず、誘電体の内面又は外面を凹ませた形態であってもよい。
(6)上記実施例1では、1つの誘電体に2つの内導体を取り付けたが、1つの誘電体に収容する内導体の数は、1つ又は3つ以上であってもよい。
(7)上記実施例1では、誘電体が第1部品と第2部品との2部品で構成されているが、誘電体は単一部品であってもよい。
(8)上記実施例1では、一対の内導体に接続した2本の電線がツイストペア線を構成するものであるが、本発明は、内導体に接続する電線がツイストペア線を構成しない場合にも適用できる。
(9)上記実施例1では、第2部品の材料、材質をポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)としたが、第2部品の材料、材質はポリブチレンテレフタレート以外であってもよい。
(10)上記実施例1では、第1部品の材料、材質をポリプロピレン(PP)としたが、第1部品の材料、材質は、ポリエチレン(PE)、ポリスチレン(PS)、発泡ポリブチレンテレフタレート等であってもよい。
(11)上記実施例1では、第1部品と第2部品の材料又は材質の組合せが、ポリプロピレンとポリブチレンテレフタレートであるが、第1部品と第2部品の材料又は材質の組合せは、ポリエチレン(PE)とポリブチレンテレフタレートとしてもよく、発泡ポリブチレンテレフタレートとポリブチレンテレフタレートとしてもよい。

Claims (3)
- 本体部から前方へタブを突出させた内導体と、
内部に導体収容室が形成され、前記導体収容室内に前記本体部を収容した状態で前記内導体を保持する誘電体と、
前記誘電体と前記タブを包囲する外導体と、
前記導体収容室を構成し、空気室が形成された壁部とを備え、
前記誘電体は、底壁部から隔壁部を立ち上げることで前記導体収容室を構成する溝部が形成された第1部品と、前記溝部を覆う上壁部を有する第2部品とを合体して構成され、
前記第1部品の材料又は材質が、前記第2部品より誘電率の低い材料又は材質であり、
前記第2部品の材料又は材質が、前記第1部品より機械的強度の高い材料又は材質であるシールド端子。 - 前記第2部品は、前記溝部に取り付けられた前記内導体を前記第1部品との間で挟むように保持し、
前記誘電体は、前記第1部品の側面と前記第2部品の側面に形成したロック部同士を係止させることで合体状態に保持され、
前記空気室が、前記第1部品の底壁部と前記第2部品の上壁部のうち少なくとも一方の前記壁部に形成されている請求項1に記載のシールド端子。 - 前記第2部品には、前記第1部品の側壁部の外面に係止することで合体状態を保つ側板部が形成され、
前記側板部に前記空気室が形成されている請求項1又は請求項2に記載のシールド端子。
