Description
本開示の一側面は、排気ユニットにおいて、機能性を向上できるようにすることが望ましい。
このような構成によれば、筐体の外壁部を流路の一部として利用するので、排気ユニットにおける部品点数の削減、および軽量化を図ることができる。
本開示の一態様では、板部材は、消音室を複数の部屋に仕切る仕切板として機能してもよい。
本開示の一態様では、排出口は、流路と交差する方向に向けられてもよい。
本開示の一態様は、流路内に配置され、排気を冷却するように構成された熱交換器、をさらに備えてもよい。
本開示の一態様は、熱交換器よりも流路の下流側に配置され、排出口とは異なる排気の出口である排気取出口、をさらに備えてもよい。
本開示の一態様では、熱交換器は、当該筐体内の外周のうちの、当該排気ユニットを使用する際に鉛直方向下側となる部位に配置されてもよい。
[1−1.構成]
図1に示す排気ユニット1は、例えば、REEV(航続距離延長型電気自動車:Range Extender Electric Vehicle)等の車両に搭載され、排気を通過させつつ浄化および消音を行う機能を有するユニットである。
壁部材17は、筐体10内に配置され、導入口11から導入された排気を筐体10内の外周に沿って進路を湾曲させつつ流通させるため筒状の流路16を形成するように構成される。
この構成では、第1部材40および第2部材50の組み付け時に、触媒21,22は、第1部材40および第2部材50に挟まれることで、鉛直方向の力を受けて保持され、かつ壁部材17と外壁部10Aとに挟まれることで、水平方向の力を受けて保持される。
以上詳述した実施形態によれば、以下の効果を奏する。
(1a)本開示の一態様の排気ユニット1は、筐体10と、壁部材17と、触媒21,22と、消音室18A,18B,18Cと、を備える。筐体10は、導入口11から内燃機関100の排気が導入され、排出口12から排気が排出されるように構成される。壁部材17は、筐体10内に配置され、導入口11から導入された排気を筐体10内の外周に沿って進路を湾曲させつつ流通させるため筒状の流路16を形成するように構成される。
このような構成によれば、筐体10の外壁部10Aを流路16の一部として利用するので、排気ユニット1における部品点数の削減、および軽量化を図ることができる。
このような構成によれば、板部材31を消音室18A,18B,18Cの一部の構成として兼用することができるので、排気ユニット1における部品点数の削減、および軽量化を図ることができる。
このような構成によれば、導入口11から導入された排気を、筐体10の外周に沿って流通させた後で、筐体10の外周から遠い中央付近から排出する構成を容易に実現することができる。
このような構成によれば、熱交換器23で排気の体積を減じてから排気を消音室18A,18B,18Cに導入することができる。
このような構成によれば、熱交換器23を通過することによって低温となった排気を排気取出口25から取り出すことができる。
このような構成によれば、熱交換器23が筐体10内の鉛直方向下側に配置されるので、排気を冷却することによって生じる凝縮水が筐体10内の他の部位に流れることを抑制することができる。
以上、本開示の実施形態について説明したが、本開示は上述の実施形態に限定されることなく、種々変形して実施することができる。

- 導入口から内燃機関の排気が導入され、排出口から前記排気が排出されるように構成された筐体と、
前記筐体内に配置され、前記導入口から導入された排気を前記筐体内の外周に沿って進路を湾曲させつつ流通させるため筒状の流路を形成するように構成された壁部材と、
前記流路内に配置された触媒と、
前記流路における前記触媒よりも下流側にて前記流路と連通するように構成された消音室と、
を備え、
前記壁部材は、前記消音室の内外を仕切る壁面の一部として機能するように構成され、
前記筐体は、第1部材と、前記第1部材に組み付けられる第2部材と、をさらに備え、
前記第1部材および前記第2部材の少なくとも一方は、前記触媒に近づくにつれて前記第1部材および前記第2部材の間隔が広くなるように構成された傾斜部、を備え、

前記流路内に配置され、排気を冷却するように構成された熱交換器と、
前記熱交換器よりも前記流路の下流側に配置され、前記排出口とは異なる排気の出口である排気取出口と、
を備え、
前記壁部材は、前記消音室の内外を仕切る壁面の一部として機能する
ように構成された排気ユニット。 - 請求項3から請求項5の何れか1項に記載の排気ユニットであって、
前記熱交換器は、当該筐体内の外周のうちの、当該排気ユニットを使用する際に鉛直方向下側となる部位に配置される
ように構成された排気ユニット。 - 請求項1から請求項6の何れか1項に記載の排気ユニットであって、
前記壁部材は、前記筐体の外壁部とともに前記流路を形成する
ように構成された排気ユニット。 - 請求項1から請求項7の何れか1項に記載の排気ユニットであって、
前記排出口は、前記流路と交差する方向に向けられる
ように構成された排気ユニット。
