Description
<1>イルメナイト鉱に、炭素または炭化チタンのうち少なくともいずれか一方を含む還元剤を添加して還元する工程;
<2>得られた還元生成物を水素雰囲気下で塩酸を用いて酸浸出してTi3+を含有する浸出液を得る工程;
<3>得られた浸出液に空気酸化処理することによって酸化チタンを析出させる工程。
<1>イルメナイト鉱に還元剤を添加して還元する工程;
<2>得られた還元生成物を酸浸出してTi3+を含有する浸出液を得る工程;
<3>得られた浸出液に空気酸化処理することによって酸化チタンを析出させる工程。
次いで、得られた還元後のイルメナイト鉱の浸出(リーチング)試験は、水素雰囲気下、6.0mol L−1の塩酸水溶液100mLを入れた実験用フラスコで行った。実験用フラスコには、還元後のイルメナイト鉱を全量添加し、ホットプレートを用いて75℃に加温しながら浸出実験をおこなった。浸出時間は24時間とした。
<結果>
図7に示すように、浸出液中の4価のチタン酸化物であるTiO2の濃度は、浸出液の塩酸濃度を上昇させても0.0mol L−1付近に留まっており、塩酸水溶液中にはほぼ浸出しないことが確認された。
Claims (3)
- 少なくとも以下<1>から<3>の工程を含むことを特徴とするイルメナイト鉱からの酸化チタンの回収方法。
<1>イルメナイト鉱に、炭素または炭化チタンのうち少なくともいずれか一方を含む還元剤を添加して還元する工程;
<2>得られた還元生成物を水素雰囲気下で塩酸を用いて酸浸出してTi3+を含有する浸出液を得る工程;
<3>得られた浸出液に空気酸化処理することによって酸化チタンを析出させる工程。 - 前記工程<3>において前記浸出液のpHが2.0以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のイルメナイト鉱からの酸化チタンの回収方法。
- 前記工程<3>において前記空気酸化前における前記浸出液中の2価の鉄イオン濃度C Fe と3価のチタンイオン濃度C Ti の比率C Fe /C Ti の値が10.0以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のイルメナイト鉱からの酸化チタンの回収方法。
