Description
本発明は、ゲルをモールドした枕、及び該枕の製造方法である。特に本発明は、枕の各側面にモールドしたゲルインサート(gel insert)を含む枕であり、及び、該枕の製造方法である。
Claims (8)
- 以下のステップを備えた、枕を製造する方法であって、
上部モールドで、当該上部モールドを通り延在した複数の空気口を形成した上部モールド、及び、底部モールドで、当該底部モールドを通り延在した複数の空気口を形成した底部モールド、を含むフォームモールディングシステムを提供すること、
上部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に、及び、底部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に真空を印加すること、
上部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に対して第1ゲルインサートを配置すること、
底部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に対して第2ゲルインサートを配置すること、
第2ゲルインサートの上で底部モールドへフォーム前駆物質を分配すること、
並びに、
底部モールドに上部モールドを固定すること、その結果、フォーム前駆物質の反応及び拡張によりモールドされたフォーム枕が製造され、該フォーム枕は、モールドされた当該フォーム枕の第1側面に配置された第1ゲルインサートと、フォーム枕の第1側面に対向する第2側面に配置された第2ゲルインサートとを有し、
真空を印加するステップは、上部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に第1真空を印加すること、及び底部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に第2真空を印加することを備え、
上部モールドに印加される第1真空は、底部モールドに印加される第2真空よりも強い、
枕の製造方法。 - 底部モールドに印加される真空は約30cfm未満であり、上部モールドに印加される真空は約300cfmを超える、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 上記フォームモールディングシステムは、上部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口、及び底部モールドによって形成された複数の空気口に操作可能に接続された真空ポンプをさらに備え、該真空ポンプは真空を印加するものである、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 上記フォームモールディングシステムは、真空ポンプを制御する空気制御ユニットをさらに備えた、請求項3に記載の製造方法。
- 第1ゲルインサート及び第2ゲルインサートを、固化するフォーム前駆物質に接合させるため、十分な時間にわたりフォームモールディングシステムにおいて上記フォーム前駆物質を固化するステップをさらに備えた、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
- 上記時間は、約10分から約15分である、請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- フォーム前駆物質を固めることに続いてフォームプラスチックモールディングシステムからモールドされたフォーム枕を除去するステップをさらに備えた、請求項5に記載の製造方法。
- フォーム前駆物質は、粘弾性のフォーム前駆物質である、請求項1に記載の製造方法。
