Description
Claims (3)
- 画像形成装置内に取付けられた交換可能な補給品上に配置されたI2C通信バスのスレーブノードと、前記I2C通信バスのマスターノードとしての、前記画像形成装置のコントローラとの間の電気通信方法であって、
前記交換可能な前記補給品上の前記スレーブノードによって、前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラから第1の書き込みコマンドを受信するステップと、
前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードが、前記第1の書き込みコマンドのヘッダに含まれている送信周期ビットの値を、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードが、前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラから、前記第1の書き込みコマンドの前に受信した第2の書き込みコマンドのヘッダに含まれている送信周期ビットの値と比較するステップと、
前記第1の書き込みコマンドの前記ヘッダに含まれている前記送信周期ビットの値が、前記第2の書き込みコマンドの前記ヘッダに含まれている前記送信周期ビットの値と同じである場合に、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードによって、前記第1の書き込みコマンドのコマンドIDの値を、前記第2の書き込みコマンドのコマンドIDの値と比較するステップと、
前記第1の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値が、前記第2の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値と同じである場合に、前記第1の書き込みコマンドを実行することなく、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードによって、前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラに、前記第2の書き込みコマンドに対する応答を送信するステップとを含む、電気通信方法。 - 前記第1の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値が、前記第2の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値と同じでない場合において、前記第1の書き込みコマンドが応答取得コマンドでない場合に、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードによって、前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラにエラーメッセージを送信するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の電気通信方法。
- 前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードによって、前記第1の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値を前記第2の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値と比較するステップは、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードによって、前記第1の書き込みコマンドの前記コマンドIDの値は、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードが、前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラにビジー状態を示す前に、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードが前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラから受信した最新の書き込みコマンドに対する応答を送信するように、前記交換可能な補給品上の前記スレーブノードに対する、前記画像形成装置の前記コントローラからの要求であることを示しているか否かを判定するステップを含む、請求項1に記載の電気通信方法。
