Description
図1は、本発明の一実施形態に係るリニアコンベア装置1の全体構成を概略的に示す斜視図である。リニアコンベア装置1は、架台10上に設置され、X方向に延びる一対の直線搬送部2(第1直線搬送部2A及び第2直線搬送部2B)と、直線搬送部2の−X側及び+X側端部にそれぞれ位置する第1方向転換部2C及び第2方向転換部2Dと、直線搬送部2に沿って移動するスライダ3と、架台10上において直線搬送部2を支持するベース部材4とを備えている。直線搬送部2は、架台10の+Y側に配置された第1直線搬送部2Aと、この第1直線搬送部2Aと平行に−Y側に配置された第2直線搬送部2Bとからなる。第1、第2方向転換部2C、2Dは、これら直線搬送部2A、2Bの間を−X側及び+X側端部において連絡している。
モジュール20の具体例を説明する。図2は、直線搬送部2の一部を構成する2つのモジュール20の連結体の斜視図である。なお、図2は、2つのモジュール20のうちの1つのカバー部材5を取り外した状態を示す。各モジュール20は、基台フレーム21と、ガイドレール22(第1ガイドレール22A及び第2ガイドレール22B)と、固定子ユニット23と、モータ駆動ユニット24とを備える。本実施形態では、これらモジュール20のそれぞれに、カバー部材5が取り付けられている。
図3は、リニアコンベア装置1に備えられるスライダ3の斜視図である。スライダ3は、スライダフレーム31、リニアモータ可動子32、一対のガイドブロック33(第1ガイドブロック33A、第2ガイドブロック33B)及びスケール34を含む。
本実施形態に係る位置検出装置は、スライダ3に付設されるスケール34と、モータ駆動ユニット24の各センサ構造体241とによって構成される。センサ構造体241は、本発明に係る処理部と情報処理部とを構成する。このセンサ構造体241は、スライダ3に付設されるスケール34を検出して位置データを生成し、その位置データを用いてスライダ3の位置情報を認識するとともに、スライダ3に固有の識別情報を生成する。

Claims (7)
- 所定の移動方向に移動するスライダの位置を検出する位置検出装置であって、
前記スライダに付設され、目盛が第1ピッチで前記移動方向に沿って1列に配設されてなる第1トラックと、目盛が第2ピッチで前記移動方向に沿って1列に配設されてなる第2トラックとが、前記移動方向と直交する方向に並んで形成されたスケールと、
前記第1トラックを検出して前記第1ピッチに応じた第1位置データを生成し、前記第2トラックを検出して前記第2ピッチに応じた第2位置データを生成する処理部と、
前記第1位置データを前記スライダの位置情報として認識し、当該第1位置データに対する前記第2位置データの差に応じた、前記スライダに固有の識別情報を生成して出力する情報処理部と、を備え、
前記スケールにおいて、前記第1トラックの検出始点位置から検出終点位置に至るまでの長さと、前記第2トラックの検出始点位置から検出終点位置に至るまでの長さとは、前記スケールの前記移動方向に沿った長さを示すスケール長に対応した長さに設定されている、位置検出装置。 - 前記処理部は、
前記第1トラックに対する相対的な変位を検出し、前記第1ピッチに対応した第1波長の第1の2相正弦波信号を出力する第1センサと、

前記第1の2相正弦波信号に所定の第1内挿処理を施し、前記第1位置データを生成して出力する第1信号処理部と、
