Description
燃焼室の天井面が形成された表面を有するシリンダヘッドを準備する準備工程と、
前記天井面に遮熱膜を形成する成膜工程と、
前記遮熱膜の体積を計測する計測工程と、
前記天井面と組み合わせるエンジンバルブを選択する選択工程であって、エンジンバルブの傘部の肉厚に応じて設定したエンジンバルブのランクの中から、前記遮熱膜の計測体積の設計値からの乖離量に見合ったランクを選択する選択工程と、
を備え、
前記選択工程が、前記計測体積が前記設計値よりも大きい場合は相対的に前記肉厚の薄いエンジンバルブを選択し、前記計測体積が前記設計値よりも小さい場合は相対的に前記肉厚の厚いエンジンバルブを選択することによって前記乖離量を最小にする傘部の肉厚を有するエンジンバルブのランクを選択する工程であり、
前記シリンダヘッドは、排気ポートと、タンジェンシャルポートまたはヘリカルポートを構成する吸気ポートと、を備え、
前記エンジンバルブが、前記排気ポートに設けられる排気バルブであることを特徴としている。
前記選択工程において選択したランクに関する情報を、前記シリンダヘッドの表面に記録する記録工程を更に備えることを特徴としている。
前記成膜工程は、前記天井面に多孔質構造を有する遮熱膜を形成する工程であることを特徴としている。
また、上記実施の形態においては、図1のステップS6が第2の発明の「記録工程」に相当している。

Claims (3)
- 燃焼室の天井面が形成された表面を有するシリンダヘッドを準備する準備工程と、
前記天井面に遮熱膜を形成する成膜工程と、
前記遮熱膜の体積を計測する計測工程と、
前記天井面と組み合わせるエンジンバルブを選択する選択工程であって、エンジンバルブの傘部の肉厚に応じて設定したエンジンバルブのランクの中から、前記遮熱膜の計測体積の設計値からの乖離量に見合ったランクを選択する選択工程と、
を備えるエンジンの製造方法であって、
前記選択工程が、前記計測体積が前記設計値よりも大きい場合は相対的に前記肉厚の薄いエンジンバルブを選択し、前記計測体積が前記設計値よりも小さい場合は相対的に前記肉厚の厚いエンジンバルブを選択することによって前記乖離量を最小にする傘部の肉厚を有するエンジンバルブのランクを選択する工程であり、
前記シリンダヘッドは、排気ポートと、タンジェンシャルポートまたはヘリカルポートを構成する吸気ポートと、を備え、
前記エンジンバルブが、前記排気ポートに設けられる排気バルブである
ことを特徴とするエンジンの製造方法。 - 前記選択工程において選択したランクに関する情報を、前記シリンダヘッドの表面に記録する記録工程を更に備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のエンジンの製造方法。
- 前記成膜工程は、前記天井面に多孔質構造を有する遮熱膜を形成する工程であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のエンジンの製造方法。
