Description
アクリル変性ウレタン樹脂は、ウレタン樹脂部(polyurethane part)とアクリル樹脂部(polyacrylic part)からなる高分子物質で、重量平均分子量が30、000〜50、000で、水酸基の含量が0〜2%であり、固形分の含量が40〜60重量%である。
本発明での顔料は、塗料へ色相を与えたり、無光塗料として光沢を落とす目的で使う。前記顔料は、油/無機系列の有色顔料または体質顔料を使うことができる。有色顔料としては、カーボンブラック、鉄オキシド、チタンジオキシド及びフタロシアニンからなる群から選択される1種以上を使うことができ、体質顔料としてはマイクロナイズドシリカ分散体及び硫酸バリウムからなる群から選択される1種以上を使うことができる。前記顔料は、本発明のソフトフィール塗料組成物の中に5〜30重量%の範囲で含まれることができる。
本発明での溶剤は、塗装作業を容易にする役割を有する。また、溶剤の揮発速度の調節によって塗膜の平滑性を保つこともできる。前記溶剤として、エステル系、芳香族炭化水素系、ケトン系などから選択される1種以上を使うことができる。好ましくは、ケトン系溶媒を使うことであり、具体的にはメチルエチルケトンを使うことができる。
本発明のソフトフィール塗料組成物の中には、通常の添加剤として、UV安定剤、スリップ剤、触媒、シルバー付着増進剤などが含まれることができる。その他にも、当該分野で使われてきた添加剤が、必要によって適宜選択して含まれることができる。このような通常の添加剤は、本発明のソフトフィール塗料組成物の中に0.1〜10重量%の範囲で含まれることができる。
製造例1及び比較製造例1〜5.アクリル変性ウレタン樹脂の製造
還流冷却器、窒素ガス流入管、温度計、撹拌機などが設けられた反応容器にN-メチルピロリドングリコールエーテルエステルなどの溶剤とポリカーボネートジオール(Mw2、000、水酸基含量1.7%、固形分含量100重量%)、ポリエステルジオール(Mw2、000、水酸基含量1.7%、固形分含量100重量%)及びアクリル樹脂(Mw35、000、水酸基含量1%、固形分含量50重量%)を投入し、60℃に昇温した後、充分に希釈されられるように1時間撹拌した。その後、発熱に注意しながらイソホロンジイソシアネート及びジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネートを徐々に投入して80℃に昇温した。前記反応温度を維持しながら1〜2時間毎にジブチルすずラウリン酸のような金属触媒を投入して反応を促進させ、重合反応を5〜6時間進行した後NCOの%を測定して、0.1%以下に落ちると反応を終結した。反応終了後、ケトンまたはアセテート溶剤を使って希釈後の冷却ろ過して包装した。
前記で製造したアクリル変性ウレタン樹脂、顔料、溶剤、及び通常の添加剤(UV安定剤、スリップ剤、触媒、シルバー付着増進剤など)を配合して、ソフトフィール塗料組成物を製造した。具体的な使用成分は、下記の通りである。
[使用成分]
- アクリル変性ウレタン樹脂:前記製造例1及び比較製造例1〜5でそれぞれ製造したアクリル変性ウレタン樹脂を使った。
- 顔料:カーボンブラック、フタロシアニン、マイクロナイズドシリカ分散体
- 溶剤:メチルエチルケトン
- UV安定剤:Tinuvin1130とTinuvin292の2:1配合物
- スリップ剤:BYK-310、BYK-Chemie社、ポリジメチルシロキサン系
- 触媒:ジブチルすずジラウレート
- シルバー付着増進剤:リン酸系
前記実施例1及び比較例1ないし5で製造された塗料に対する物性を測定するために、下記の方法で塗装及び硬化して、試片を製作した。
(1)付着性:ISO2409またはJIS K 5600-5-6によって、テープ剥離試験を実施した。塗膜面の下地に達するようにカッターで切取線を引き、大きさ2mm×2mmの四角い欄を100個作って、その表面に指定された粘着セロハンテープ(JIS Z1522)で堅く付着し、90度の角度で強く引っ張り出して外した後、四角い欄の残存塗膜数及び剥離形態を評価した。
Claims (8)
- 樹脂、顔料、溶剤及び通常の添加剤を含むソフトフィール塗料組成物において、
前記樹脂は、ポリカーボネートジオール、ポリエステルジオール、アクリル樹脂及びイソシアネート単量体を重合して製造されたアクリル変性ウレタン樹脂であり、
前記アクリル変性ウレタン樹脂は、ポリカーボネートジオール30〜60重量%、ポリエステルジオール20〜40重量%及びアクリル樹脂10〜30重量%からなる樹脂と、イソシアネート単量体を[NCO]/[OH]のモル比が1〜1.2になるように重合して製造されたものであり、重量平均分子量が30、000〜50、000である
ことを特徴とする、1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。 - アクリル変性ウレタン樹脂30〜70重量%、顔料5〜30重量%、溶剤20〜50重量%、及び通常の添加剤0.1〜10重量%を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
- 前記アクリル変性ウレタン樹脂は、水酸基含量が0〜2%であり、固形分含量が40〜60重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
- 前記ポリカーボネートジオールは、重量平均分子量が500〜5、000で、水酸基含量が0.7〜7%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
- 前記ポリエステルジオールは、重量平均分子量が500〜5、000で、水酸基含量が0.7〜7%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
- 前記アクリル樹脂は、重量平均分子量が20、000〜40、000で、水酸基含量が0.5〜3.0%であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
- 前記イソシアネート単量体は、トルエンジイソシアネート、4、4-ジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート、ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート、及びジシクロヘキシルメタンジイソシアネートからなる群から選択される1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
- 前記通常の添加剤は、UV安定剤、スリップ剤、触媒、及びシルバー付着増進剤の中から選択される1種以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の1回塗装用ソフトフィール塗料組成物。
