θ=((180/N)+n×180)/P (但し、nは0以上の整数)
を満たすように、前記取付部材が前記複数の磁界検出部を保持するものである。
つまり、取付部材40は、上記式を満たすように、複数の磁界検出部30を保持すれば、車輪速の分解能を向上させることができる。
以上のように構成された車輪速センサ20によると、複数の磁界検出部30がロータ10の外周ライン10Aと内周ライン10Bよりも、それらの間の中間ライン10Cに近い位置で保持される。この部分では、ロータ10の回転による磁束密度の変化が大きいため、車輪速センサ20は、当該大きな変化に基づいてはっきりと変化した検出信号を出力することができ、車輪速の検出精度を向上させることができる。
θ=((180/N)+n×180)/P (但し、nは0以上の整数)を満たしていると、複数の磁界検出部30は、ロータ10の回転に伴う位相に対して、((180/N)+n×180)degの位相差で検出信号を出力できる。このため、複数の磁界検出部30の出力信号に基づき、分解能の向上が可能となる。

Claims (4)
- 周方向に沿って交互に異なる磁極を呈すると共に車輪の回転と同期して回転するリング状のロータに対向配置される車輪速センサであって、
前記ロータの回転による磁界変動に応じた検出信号を出力する複数の磁界検出部と、
車両に取付される取付部と、前記複数の磁界検出部を保持する保持部とを含み、前記取付部が前記車両に取付された状態で、前記ロータの中心軸方向に沿ってみたとき、前記複数の磁界検出部のうち前記ロータに対向するそれぞれの素子面の中心が、前記ロータの外周を描く外周ラインと前記ロータの内周を描く内周ラインよりも、前記外周ラインと前記内周ラインとの中間を通る中間ラインに近い位置に配置されるように、前記複数の磁界検出部を保持する取付部材と、
を備える車輪速センサ。 - 請求項1に記載の車輪速センサであって、
前記取付部材は、前記複数の磁界検出部が前記ロータに対して同じ姿勢となるように、前記複数の磁界検出部を保持する、車輪速センサ。 - 請求項2記載の車輪速センサであって、
前記取付部材は、前記複数の磁界検出部のそれぞれが前記ロータの径方向に沿ったいずれかのラインに対して線対称姿勢となるように、前記複数の磁界検出部を保持する、車輪速センサ。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の車輪速センサであって、
前記ロータの極対数をP、前記複数の磁界検出部の数をN、前記ロータの中心と前記複数の磁界検出部とを結ぶ複数のラインがなす角をθ度としたとき、
θ=((180/N)+n×180)/P (但し、nは0以上の整数)
を満たすように、前記取付部材が前記複数の磁界検出部を保持する、車輪速センサ。
