Claims (8)
- 検出対象を備えるウェブの該検出対象を含む領域に対して光線を照射する光源と、該光源の光線を正反射及び乱反射させる前記ウェブの前記検出対象を含む領域である第1の視野領域並びに前記光源の光線を乱反射させる前記ウェブの前記検出対象を含む領域である第2の視野領域の両者を撮影視野にして撮影する撮影手段とを備え、前記撮影視野の画像に基づき、前記第1の視野領域と前記第2の視野領域にまたがった前記検出対象を検出することを特徴とするウェブ検出装置。
- 請求項1に記載のウェブ検出装置において、
前記第1の視野領域と前記第2の視野領域が前記ウェブの走行方向に沿って並ぶように前記光源と前記撮影手段を配置したことを特徴とするウェブ検出装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載のウェブ検出装置において、
前記撮影手段が撮影した前記ウェブの前記第1の視野領域の画像と前記第2の視野領域の画像の内のコントラストが高い方の画像に基づき、前記検出対象を検出することを特徴とするウェブ検出装置。 - 請求項2に記載のウェブ検出装置において、
前記ウェブの前記検出対象は、前記ウェブに前記走行方向に沿って印刷されたライン、前記ウェブの前記走行方向に沿ったウェブ端部、あるいは前記ウェブに前記走行方向に繰り返し印刷された絵柄であることを特徴とするウェブ検出装置。 - 検出対象を備えるウェブの該検出対象を含む領域に対して光源により光線を照射し、該光線を正反射及び乱反射させる前記ウェブの前記検出対象を含む領域である第1の視野領域並びに前記光線を前記乱反射させる前記ウェブの前記検出対象を含む領域である第2の視野領域の両者を撮影視野にして撮影手段で撮影し、前記撮影視野の画像に基づき、前記第1の視野領域と前記第2の視野領域にまたがった前記検出対象を検出することを特徴とするウェブ検出方法。
- 請求項5に記載のウェブ検出方法において、
前記第1の視野領域と前記第2の視野領域が前記ウェブの走行方向に沿って並ぶように前記光源と前記撮影手段を配置したことを特徴とするウェブ検出方法。 - 請求項5又は6に記載のウェブ検出方法において、
前記撮影手段が撮影した前記ウェブの前記第1の視野領域の画像と前記第2の視野領域の画像の内のコントラストが高い方の画像に基づき、前記検出対象を検出することを特徴とするウェブ検出方法。 - 請求項6に記載のウェブ検出方法において、
前記ウェブの前記検出対象は、前記ウェブに前記走行方向に沿って印刷されたライン、前記ウェブの前記走行方向に沿ったウェブ端部、あるいは前記ウェブに前記走行方向に繰り返し印刷された絵柄であることを特徴とするウェブ検出方法。
