Claims (15)
- ディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステムであって、
加熱要素と熱的連通状態にあるディーゼル排気流体のリザーバと、
前記加熱要素に向い、そしてディーゼルエンジンへと戻るエンジンクーラント流体の流れのための導管ループであって、それを通過する前記エンジンクーラント流体の流れの制御のための無流ポジションおよび流動ポジションを備えたスプラングゲートバルブを有する、導管ループと、
環境温度および/またはディーゼル排気流体の温度を検出するために配置された温度センサと、
前記温度センサと通信可能に接続され、かつ、前記スプラングゲートバルブと通信可能に接続されたコントローラーと、
を具備し、
前記温度センサが、前記ディーゼル排気流体の凍結点温度より低い温度を検出したとき、前記コントローラーは、前記流動ポジションとなるように前記スプラングゲートバルブに信号を送信し、
前記スプラングゲートバルブは、
前記流動ポジションにおいて前記導管ループと整列可能であり、これによってエンジンクーラント流体が前記ディーゼル排気流体へ熱を伝達するために前記加熱要素へと流れることを可能とする、それを貫通する開口をそれぞれ有する第1のゲート部材および第2のゲート部材間に挟み込まれたエンドレス弾性帯と、
前記導管ループ内のポケット内で直線的に前記第1および第2のゲート部材を一緒に移動させるソレノイドアクチュエータと、
を具備し、
前記エンドレス弾性帯によって前記第1のゲート部材が前記第2のゲート部材から離間させられており、かつ、前記エンドレス弾性帯は、前記スプラングゲートバルブが前記ポケット内に締まり嵌めを形成することを可能とする、ディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。 - 前記ディーゼル排気流体が特定の温度に達したことを示す温度を前記温度センサが検出したとき、前記コントローラーは、前記無流ポジションとなるように前記スプラングゲートバルブに信号を送信する、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第1のゲート部材は、前記第2のゲート部材のファスナー受け部材に連結されて、これによって前記第1および第2のゲート部材を一つに固定するファスナーを含む、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記ファスナーはラッチであり、かつ、前記ファスナー受け部材は前記第2のゲート部材のデテントである、請求項3に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第1のゲート部材は、その後端に第1のファスナーを、そして、その先端に第2のファスナーを含み、かつ、前記第2のゲート部材は、前記第1のファスナーとの位置合わせのために配置された第1のファスナー受け部材と、前記第2のファスナーとの位置合わせのために配置された第2のファスナー受け部材と、を含む、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記エンドレス弾性帯は略楕円形であるか、あるいは略8の字形状である、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第1および第2のゲート部材はそれぞれ、マルチパートソケットを協働で形成する、その後端から突出する連結部材を含み、前記マルチパートソケットは、前記スプラングゲートが、その中心長手方向軸線を中心として360度以上回転することを可能とする、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記マルチパートソケットは、前記後端から最も遠位の略環状開口と、前記略環状開口に対して前記後端により近接したより大きなチャンバーと、を含む、請求項7に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第1および第2のゲート部材は、それぞれ、その中に前記エンドレス弾性帯が着座させられるトラックを含む、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第1のゲート部材は、その閉ポジション部分において、それを貫通する第2の開口を有し、かつ、前記第2のゲート部材は、その閉ポジション部分において、前記第1のゲート部材における前記第2の開口に向かって、その内面から突出するプラグを含む、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記導管ループ内のエンジンクーラント流の方向に関して、前記第1のゲート部材に最も近接する前記導管ループの部分は、その長手方向軸線に沿って、前記第1のゲート部材に向って徐々に幅狭になる、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第2のゲート部材に最も近接した部分は、その長手方向軸線に沿って、前記第2のゲート部材に向って徐々に幅狭になる、請求項11に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記第1のゲート部材に最も近接した前記導管ループの前記部分および前記第2のゲート部材に最も近接した前記導管ループの前記部分は、前記スプラングゲートバルブのハウジングによって形成される、請求項12に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記スプラングゲートバルブは、無流ポジションのためのパワーオフ形態を有する、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
- 前記ソレノイドアクチュエータは、前記スプラングゲートバルブを動作させるためのピーク・ホール制御を有する、請求項1に記載のディーゼルエンジン流体リザーバシステム。
