Description
31−P NMR分光法:上記で定義した通りに実施。
COOH滴定:脱カルボキシル化の量を決定するために使用。滴定は、約0.5g(重量を最も近い0.001gまで記録)のポリマー試料をプラスチック試料カップに入れ、約10mlの脱イオン(DI)水を試料カップに添加することにより行う。この後、試料カップをRadiometer Analytical TitraLab(登録商標)865自動滴定装置(Radiometer Analytical SAS Cedex、フランス)上に置き、pH12までの0.5N KOHで滴定する。酸価を以下の計算から決定する:
Claims (9)
- (A)(a)アクリル酸及び/又はその塩、並びに(b)メタクリル酸及び/又はその塩のリンの酸基含有テロマー化コポリマーであって、前記コポリマーは最大20,000の重量平均分子量(Mw)を有し、また、平均で(i)19から74重量%のメタクリル酸、メタクリル酸無水物、又はメタクリル酸の塩の共重合残基と、(ii)−P(=O)(O−)H、−P(=O)(O−)(O−)、−P(=O)(O−)−及びそれらの組合せから選択されるリンの酸基と、(iii)0から20重量%の第3のビニルモノマーの共重合残基と、(iv)25から80重量%のアクリル酸、アクリル酸無水物、又はアクリル酸の塩の共重合残基と、を有する、リンの酸基含有テロマー化コポリマー、並びに
(B)ハイポホスファイト、ホスファイト、及びそれらの混合物から選択されるリンの酸を含むコポリマー組成物であって、
(ii)前記リンの酸基及び(B)前記リンの酸の合計量は1〜20重量%であり、
前記テロマー化コポリマーは、(1)メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸無水物、又はメタクリル酸の塩、(2)アクリル酸、アクリル酸無水物、又はアクリル酸の塩、(3)リンの酸基生成性反応物、及び場合により(4)第3のビニルモノマーという原材料から製造されるテロマー化コポリマーであり、
前記(i)、(iii)、及び(iv)の各共重合残基の前記重量%は、前記原材料の総重量に基づいて、前記原材料に換算した前記各共重合残基の重量から計算されるパーセントであり、(ii)前記リンの酸基及び(B)前記リンの酸の合計量の前記重量%は、前記原材料の総重量に基づいて、前記原材料に換算した(ii)前記リンの酸基及び(B)前記リンの酸の重量から計算されるパーセントであり、
前記テロマー化コポリマーは、プロペンの少なくとも1つの共重合残基(−CH 2 −CH(CH 3 )−)を含む、コポリマー組成物。 - 前記テロマー化コポリマーは、1,000から16,000の重量平均分子量(Mw)を有する、請求項1に記載のコポリマー組成物。
- 前記テロマー化コポリマーは、平均で(iv)40から62重量%のアクリル酸、アクリル酸無水物、又はアクリル酸の塩の共重合残基を有し、前記共重合残基の前記重量%は、(1)メタクリル酸、メタクリル酸無水物、又はメタクリル酸の塩、(2)アクリル酸、アクリル酸無水物、又はアクリル酸の塩、(3)リンの酸基生成性反応物、及び場合により(4)第3のビニルモノマーという前記原材料の総重量に基づいて、前記原材料に換算した前記共重合残基の重量から計算されるパーセントである、請求項1に記載のコポリマー組成物。
- (iii)前記第3のビニルモノマーは、イタコン酸、メタクリルアミド、アクリロモルホリン、アクリルアミド、C1〜C6アルキル(メタ)アクリルアミド、C1〜C6ジアルキル(メタ)アクリルアミド、スチレン、α−メチルスチレン、スルホン化スチレン及びそのアルカリ金属塩、シアノスチレン、ヒドロキシスチレン、アクリロニトリル、イソプロピルアクリルアミド、t−ブチルアクリルアミド、スルホン化アクリルアミド及びそのアルカリ金属塩から選択される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載のコポリマー組成物。
- 前記テロマー化コポリマーは、前記テロマー化コポリマーの作製に使用するメタクリル酸、メタクリル酸無水物、メタクリル酸の塩、アクリル酸、アクリル酸無水物、アクリル酸の塩、及び前記第3のビニルモノマーという原材料の総重量に基づいて、75重量%から100重量%の、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸無水物、メタクリル酸無水物、アクリル酸の塩、メタクリル酸の塩、及びプロペン(−CH 2 −CH(CH 3 )−)の全共重合残基を含み、前記全共重合残基の前記重量%は、前記原材料に換算した前記共重合残基の重量から計算されるパーセントである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載のコポリマー組成物。
- 前記テロマー化コポリマーは、粉体、ペレット、顆粒、又は、非水性担体中でのこれらの懸濁液、から構成される、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載のコポリマー組成物。
- 請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載のテロマー化コポリマー組成物を作製する方法であって、水性媒体中で(i)19から74重量%のメタクリル酸又はその塩と、(ii)+1酸化状態の少なくとも1つのリン原子を有する、1から20重量%のリンの酸基生成性反応物であって、前記リンの酸基は、次亜リン酸ナトリウム、次亜リン酸及びその塩、ホスフィン酸及びその塩、フェニルホスフィン酸、アルキルホスフィネート、アルキルホスフォネート、ジアルキルホスフィネート及びそれらの組合せから選択される、リンの酸基生成性反応物と、(iii)0から20重量%の第3のビニルモノマーと、(iv)25から80重量%のアクリル酸又はその塩と、を共重合化するステップであって、前記メタクリル酸又はその塩、前記アクリル酸又はその塩、前記リンの酸基生成性反応物、及び前記第3のビニルモノマーの重量%は、前記メタクリル酸又はその塩、前記アクリル酸又はその塩、前記リンの酸基生成性反応物、及び前記第3のビニルモノマーの総重量に基づく、共重合化するステップと、前記テロマー化コポリマーを175℃から230℃に及ぶ温度まで気体を排出させるのに十分な時間熱処理し、それにより前記テロマー化コポリマーの脱カルボキシル化を促進するステップと、を含む方法。
- 前記テロマー化コポリマーの前記熱処理は、ラジカルクエンチ剤又は抗酸化剤の存在下で実施される、請求項7に記載のテロマー化コポリマー組成物の作製方法。
- 前記テロマー化コポリマーの前記熱処理は、せん断下で実施される、請求項7又は8に記載のテロマー化コポリマー組成物の作製方法。
