Claims (23)
- 周囲環境から気体を検出するための電気化学セルであって、
電解質と、
前記電解質及び存在する場合は検出される前記気体と流体連通している感知電極と、
前記電解質と流体連通している対向電極と、
前記対向電極に隣接したキャビティ内に設けられた、反応物気体の供給源と
を含み、前記感知電極で検出される前記気体の反応が、前記対向電極で前記反応物気体の反応をもたらし、
前記キャビティが気体透過性又は半透過性の膜で形成され又は気体透過性又は半透過性の膜を含み、前記気体透過性又は半透過性の膜を通って前記反応物気体に前記電解質からの気体を補充するように前記気体透過性又は半透過性の膜が構成されている、電気化学セル。 - 前記キャビティが可撓性構造である、請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記キャビティが剛性構造である、請求項1に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記キャビティが、前記対向電極を少なくとも部分的に又は全体的に覆うように寸法が決められる、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記キャビティが、前記セルの外側の気体環境に対して封止されている、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 検出される前記気体が、前記電解質を介して前記感知電極に到達する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記キャビティ内に提供される気体の体積が、予め決定されている、請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記感知電極、対向電極、及び気体供給源が、ハウジング内に設けられている、請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記気体供給源が、前記対向電極と前記ハウジングとの間に設けられている、請求項8に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記気体供給源が、前記ハウジングに固定され、且つ/又は前記対向電極に封止されている、請求項8又は9に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記気体供給源が、前記電解質に対して不透過性である、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記気体供給源が、気体に対して透過性である、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記気体供給源内の前記気体が、酸素である又は酸素を含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 芯を更に含む、請求項1から13のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記感知電極、芯、対向電極、及び気体供給源が、積層体を形成するように互いに対して軸方向に並べられている、請求項14に記載の電気化学セル。
- 1つ又は複数の追加の電極を更に含む、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 第3の又は参照電極を更に含む、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 1つ又は複数の追加の感知又は作用電極を更に含む、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 前記対向電極が、複合型対向及び参照電極である、請求項1から16又は18のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セル。
- 請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の電気化学セルと、前記感知電極及び前記対向電極の間を流れる電流を測定するための手段とを含み、測定された電流が、検出された気体の濃度を示す、気体検出器。
- 酸化可能な気体を検出するように構成されている、請求項20に記載の気体検出器。
- 還元可能な気体を検出するために構成されている、請求項20に記載の気体検出器。
