Description
図7は、図5及び6に示す複合構造物35を加工する方法を示す図である。44において開始し、本発明に適切な従来のプロセスと工具を使用して、プリプレグ(図示せず)のプライ(図示せず)をレイアップすることによって第1及び第2積層体36、38を形成する。2つの無反応の二連続相ポリマー系18、20(図1)を含むIPN接着剤16は、繊維強化材41が組み込まれるプライマトリックスとして使用される。次に、ステップ46において、各積層体36、38を、適切な放射源47によって生成された放射ビーム45を各積層体36、38に当てることによって積層体を処理することが可能になる段階まで少なくとも硬化させる。放射ビーム45は、電子ビーム(EB)、紫外線ビーム、又はX線ビーム、又はその他なんらかの適切な放射ビームを含みうる。室温において、又は室温に近い温度において実施されうるこの放射ビーム硬化の結果、プライマトリックスの一構成要素を形成する第1のポリマー系18の硬化、及び図6の番号42で示すように、第1のポリマー系18の架橋が得られる。
図示したように、相互侵入ポリマーネットワーク接着剤1002は、第1のポリマー系1004と、第2のポリマー系1006とを含む。第1のポリマー系1004は図1の第1のポリマー系18であってよい。第2のポリマー系1006は図1の第2の柔軟性ポリマー系20であってよい。

Claims (11)
- 熱硬化性アクリレート、
及び三官能性アクリレート
から基本的に成る約1241〜2310MPa(180〜335ksi)の第1の弾性係数を有する第1のポリマー系と、
第1のエポキシを含む熱硬化性エポキシ系、
及びエポキシ硬化剤
から基本的に成る第2のポリマー系と
から基本的に成る接着剤組成物であって、
前記熱硬化性アクリレートは、ビスフェノールAジアクリレートであり、前記三官能性アクリレートは、トリメチロールプロパントリアクリレートである接着剤組成物。 - 前記熱硬化性アクリレートの前記三官能性アクリレートに対する重量比は4:1である、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記熱硬化性アクリレートの前記三官能性アクリレートに対する重量比は3:2である、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記第2のポリマー系は第2の弾性係数を有し、該第2の弾性係数は、前記第1の弾性係数の約60パーセント以下の値を有する、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 第1のエポキシがビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテルであり、熱硬化性エポキシ系がさらに、ポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテルを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記熱硬化性エポキシ系が、約50重量パーセントのビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテルと、約50重量パーセントのポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテルとを含む、請求項5に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記熱硬化性エポキシ系が、約60重量パーセントのビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテルと、約40重量パーセントのポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテルとを含む、請求項5に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 前記熱硬化性エポキシ系が、約70重量パーセントのビスフェノールAジグリシジルエーテルと、約30重量パーセントのポリプロピレングリコールジグリシジルエーテルとを含む、請求項5に記載の接着剤組成物。
- 第1のエポキシが、アジピン酸ビス((3、4−エポキシシクロヘキシル)メチル)である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- エポキシ硬化剤が2−エチル−4−メチルイミダゾールであり、該エポキシ硬化剤:前記熱硬化性エポキシ系の重量比は約1:10である、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
- エポキシ硬化剤が2−エチル−4−メチルイミダゾールであり、該エポキシ硬化剤の前記熱硬化性エポキシ系に対する比率は約9〜31モルパーセントである、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の接着剤組成物。
