Description
(実施の形態1)
図1は実施の形態1に係る表示装置の分解斜視図であり、図2は実施の形態1に係る表示装置の縦断面図である。本実施の形態に係る表示装置は、例えば、装置正面側に液晶パネル1を備え、装置背面側に光源部2を備えた液晶表示装置である。
実施の形態1では、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅の全部を切り欠いた切欠部321aについて説明したが、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅部分を部分的に残す構成としてもよい。
実施の形態2では、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅部分を部分的に残して切欠部を形成した構成について説明する。なお、表示装置の全体構成は実施の形態1と同様であるため、その説明を省略することとする。
実施の形態3では、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅に形成する切欠部の形状を異ならせた形態について説明する。

Claims (17)
- 表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルに対向して配置され、光源の実装された基板と、
前記表示パネルと前記基板との間に配置された拡散板と、
前記拡散板を支持する支持部と、
前記光源から出射された光を通過させる通光部と
を備える、表示装置であって、
前記支持部は、
前記拡散板を前記基板側から支持する第1支持部材と、
前記拡散板を前記表示パネル側から支持する周壁部を含む第2支持部材と
を含み、
前記光源から出射され前記拡散板を透過して第1方向に進む光は、前記通光部を通過することなく前記第2支持部材によって反射され、
前記光源から出射され前記拡散板を透過して第2方向に進む光は、前記第2支持部材によって反射されることなく前記通光部に通り抜け、
前記拡散板は矩形状であり、
前記支持部は、前記拡散板の周縁を支持し、
前記通光部は、前記支持部の四隅の全部または一部において前記周壁部を切り欠いた切欠部を含む、表示装置。 - 前記切欠部は、正面視において四角形状又は三角形状を有する、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記切欠部は、正面視において頂角が直角をなす三角形状を有する、請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記切欠部は、正面視において頂角が鋭角をなす三角形状を有する、請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記拡散板は前記第1支持部材および前記第2支持部材に挟まれる、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記通光部は、前記支持部の開口として設けられる、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記支持部は、前記基板を収容する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2支持部材に前記通光部が設けられる、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記第2支持部材は、前記通光部によって複数に分離される、請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の表示装置。

前記第2支持部材の内周面は、前記拡散板から前記光学シートまでの間で斜め外側に傾斜する、請求項1から12のいずれかに記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルの周縁を覆うベゼルをさらに備える、請求項1から13のいずれかに記載の表示装置。

前記表示パネルの周縁を覆う額縁部と、
前記支持部の外周面を覆う側壁部と
