Description
(実施の形態1)
図1は実施の形態1に係る表示装置の分解斜視図であり、図2は実施の形態1に係る表示装置の縦断面図である。本実施の形態に係る表示装置は、例えば、装置正面側に液晶パネル1を備え、装置背面側に光源部2を備えた液晶表示装置である。
実施の形態1では、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅の全部を切り欠いた切欠部321aについて説明したが、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅部分を部分的に残す構成としてもよい。
実施の形態2では、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅部分を部分的に残して切欠部を形成した構成について説明する。なお、表示装置の全体構成は実施の形態1と同様であるため、その説明を省略することとする。
実施の形態3では、正面側パネルシャーシ32の四隅に形成する切欠部の形状を異ならせた形態について説明する。

Claims (3)
- 一面に画像が表示される表示パネルと、該表示パネルの他面に対向配置され、複数の光源が実装された基板と、前記表示パネルと前記基板との間に配置される矩形状の拡散板と、前記光源からの光が通過する開口を有し、前記拡散板の周縁を表示パネル側及び基板側から挟み込むことにより、前記拡散板を支持する2つの支持部材とを備える表示装置において、
前記表示パネル側の支持部材の四隅に、前記拡散板を透過した光が通り抜ける通光部を設けてある
ことを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記通光部は、前記支持部材の四隅の全部又は一部を切り欠いた切欠部である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記切欠部は、正面視にて四角形状又は三角形状をなす
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の表示装置。
