Description
これらの原理を利用して、最適の矯正を提供するために、より大きな、またはより小さな力が必要である場合、または優先的な力が利用される必要がある場合に、梁の特性が容易に変更され得るという意味で、梁が患者の矯正上の特定の要求に適合されてもよい。たとえば、横面または矢状面において優先的な力が必要でないとき、円形の断面を有する梁が利用されてもよいが、横面または矢状面のいずれかにおける優先的な力がその成果を最適化するような矯正を患者が必要としている場合、矩形(または他の非対称)の形状が利用されてもよい。
この実施例では、弾性部材110(梁)の高さ(h)および幅(b)の特徴を調節することによって、リングセクション102からリングセクションに移される力が変更されてもよい。片持ち梁として描写されたばね梁が上に示されるが、力Fは、隣接するリングセクション102へと伝えられ、梁は、一方の端部で固定され、他方で単に支持されるため、むしろ単純に支持された梁として動作する。
隣接するリングセグメント102の連結により生み出される力は、矯正力として患者へと伝達されるため、これもまた例証目的のための簡易化である。
Claims (5)
- 患者の脊柱に矯正力を外部から加えるためのシステムであって、
前記システムが、
複数のリングセグメントであって、前記複数のリングセグメントのそれぞれが患者の胴体の周囲に適合し、間隔を有して、垂直方向軸に対して略同軸の構成で位置決めされる、複数のリングセグメントと、
隣接する前記リングセグメント間で弾性連結される、1つまたは複数の背部の調節可能な連結機構と、
隣接する前記リングセグメント間で弾性連結される、側部の調節可能な連結機構と、を備え、
前記1つまたは複数の背部の調節可能な連結機構が、
前記リングセグメントの背部部分に強固に固定される背部駆動ユニットに、近位端部で固定および調節可能に定着される少なくとも1つの弾性部材と、
隣接する前記リングセグメントの背部部分に略同一平面配置で強固に取り付けられ、前記弾性部材のそれぞれの遠位端部に係合し、横断面における前後運動を抑制しながら、横面および矢状面における制限された運動を可能にし、それによって横断力または回転力を前記隣接するリングセグメント間で伝える少なくとも1つの背部受容器と、を備え、
前記側部の調節可能な連結機構が、
前記リングセグメントの側部に強固に固定される側部駆動ユニットに、近位端部で固定および調節可能に定着される少なくとも1つの弾性部材と、
隣接する前記リングセグメントの側部に略同一平面配置で強固に取り付けられ、前記弾性部材のそれぞれの遠位端部に係合し、横断面における横運動を抑制しながら、矢状面および横面における限定された運動を可能にし、それによって横断力または回転力を前記隣接するリングセグメント間で伝える少なくとも1つの側部受容器と、を備える、
システム。 - 前記背部駆動ユニットおよび前記側部駆動ユニットのそれぞれが、
両端部上で軸受け台によって固定される心棒と、
前記弾性部材の前記近位端部に略垂直に前記心棒を接続させる受容器と、
前記心棒が調節のために回転され、特定の位置で定着されることを可能にし、それによって前記背部駆動ユニットおよび前記側部駆動ユニットのそれぞれに対して前記弾性部材の固定された位置決めを可能にする、調節可能な固定器と、をさらに備える、請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記弾性部材がばね梁である、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記弾性部材が、半硬質金属、超弾性金属、形状記憶合金、ポリマー、黒鉛、合成繊維、パラ系アラミド合成繊維、炭素繊維、繊維ガラスおよびニチノールからなる群から選ばれた材料で構成される、請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記背部駆動ユニットが、横面における前記弾性部材の回転において調節可能に定着され、前記側部駆動ユニットが、矢状面における前記弾性部材の回転において調節可能に定着される、請求項1記載のシステム。
