前記制動力発生時に、前記スライダが前記シール部材に圧接して、前記シール部材における前記ハウジングの内壁に接する部分が前記ハウジングの外側に向けて変形するようになっていると共に、
前記シール部材における前記ハウジングの内壁に接する部分の内方に、前記シール部材の前記ハウジングの内方への変形を抑制する変形制御部を備えさせてなる、ものとした。

Claims (2)
- ロッドを備えたピストンと、このピストンを納めるハウジングとからなり、前記ピストンの作動により制動力を生じさせるダンパーであって、
前記ピストンは、
前記ハウジングの内壁に対するシール部材と、
前記ハウジングの内壁に所定の摩擦力をもって接するスライダとを備えており、
前記制動力発生時に、前記スライダが前記シール部材に圧接して、前記シール部材における前記ハウジングの内壁に接する部分が前記ハウジングの外側に向けて変形するようになっていると共に、
前記シール部材における前記ハウジングの内壁に接する部分の内方に、前記シール部材の前記ハウジングの内方への変形を抑制する変形制御部を備えさせてなり、
前記変形制御部は、前記スライダに一体に備えられていると共に、少なくとも、前記シール部材の前記ハウジングの内壁に接する部分における前記ピストンの移動方向に沿う向きにおいて中央となる位置に、前記ハウジングの内方への変形時に接して、前記ハウジングの内方への変形を抑制するようになっている、ダンパー。 - 前記ピストンの移動方向に直交する向きのハウジングの断面外郭形状が扁平となっている、請求項1に記載のダンパー。
