Claims (15)
- 海洋波からエネルギーを抽出するための波エネルギー変換器(1)であって、
平衡位置を中心として基準点に対して振動するように配置されたブイ(2)と、
前記ブイと前記基準点との間に接続され、機械式ばね(11)を含む負のばね装置(10)と、
を含み、
前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイが前記平衡位置から離れる際に正の力を変位の方向に印加するためのものである、波エネルギー変換器。 - 前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイがその平衡位置にある場合には前記ブイの振動運動の方向に力を与えないように構成されている、請求項1に記載の波エネルギー変換器。
- 前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイが前記平衡位置から離れる際に変位に従って初めのうちは増加する力を与えるように構成されている、請求項1または2に記載の波エネルギー変換器。
- 前記ブイが使用中である場合に、前記負のばねを備えないブイと比較して前記平衡位置における前記ブイの全体剛性が低下するように、前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイの流体静力学的剛性に反作用するように作用し、
前記平衡位置における前記ブイの全体剛性は、前記負のばねを備えないブイと比較して少なくとも5倍低下し、
使用中に、前記ブイの共振振動の帯域幅を増加させるために、前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイの流体静力学的剛性に反作用するように作用する、請求項1、2または3に記載の波エネルギー変換器。 - 前記負のばね装置は、閾値変位よりも大きな変位において、前記ブイのその平衡位置からの変位の方向とは反対の方向の成分を有する力を与えるように構成され、
前記閾値変位を超える前記ブイの変位が増加するにつれて前記ブイの変位の方向とは反対の方向の力の成分が増加するように前記負のばね装置が構成され、
前記機械式ばねは、コイルばねまたは気体ばねである、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換器。 - 複数の負のばね装置を含み、
前記複数の負のばね装置は、前記平衡位置において運動の方向に対して垂直な平面に沿って異なる方向に延び、
前記複数の負のばね装置は、対称的に配置されている、請求項1乃至5の何れかに記載の波エネルギー変換器。 - 各負のばね装置は、ばねの組(14)を含み、
該ばねの組は、前記平衡位置において、運動の方向に対する垂線を中心として対称的に配置されており、且つ、運動の方向およびそれに対する前記垂線と同一平面内に位置する、V字型の角度をつけられた1対のばねを含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換器。 - 前記基準点は、支持部材(5)上に設けられており、前記ブイは、前記支持部材に対して振動するように構成されている、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換器。
- 前記ブイは、並進/直線運動振動を受けるように構成され、前記支持部材は、前記ブイの中心を貫通し、
前記支持部材は、前記ブイの直線振動の方向に配向されている、請求項8に記載の波エネルギー変換器。 - 前記ブイは、前記ブイの外部にあるピボット点(A)を中心とする角変位での回転振動を受けるように構成され、
前記基準点は、前記平衡位置と前記ピボット点とをつなぐ線に沿った任意の位置にあるか、近接する、請求項8に記載の波エネルギー変換器。 - 海洋波からエネルギーを抽出する方法であって、
波動によって、平衡位置を中心として基準点に対してブイ(2)を振動させることと、
機械式ばね(11)を含む負のばね装置を使用して、前記ブイが前記平衡位置から離れる際に前記ブイと前記基準点との間に正の力を与えることと、
を含み、前記正の力は、前記ブイと前記平衡位置との間の変位の方向である、方法。 - 前記変位が閾値変位よりも大きい場合に、前記ブイとその平衡位置との間の変位の方向とは反対の方向で、前記ブイと前記基準点との間に正の力を与えることを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記負のばねを備えないブイと比較して前記平衡位置における前記ブイの全体剛性が低下するように、前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイの流体静力学的剛性に反作用するように使用され、
前記平衡位置における前記ブイの全体剛性は、前記負のばねを備えないブイと比較して少なくとも5倍低下し、
前記ブイの共振振動の帯域幅を増加させるために、前記負のばね装置は、前記ブイの流体静力学的剛性に反作用するように使用される、請求項11または12に記載の方法。 - 前記ブイと前記基準点との間の力は、請求項1乃至10のいずれかに記載の波エネルギー変換器(1)の負のばね装置(10)によって与えられる、請求項11乃至13のいずれかに記載の方法。
