Description

このコーティングチャンバ(100)は、そのコーティングチャンバ(100)内部での前述のコーティングスラリーの高さを、変量を測定することによってチェックするためのデバイスを更に備え、
このデバイスは、コーティングチャンバ(100)内に等しい高さで取り付けられている少なくとも第1のセンサ(123)及び第2のセンサ(125)に対して、コーティングチャンバ内の下側位置(124)に1つの下側センサを有し、
このデバイスは、
−その下側センサ、並びに前述の少なくとも第1のセンサ及び第2のセンサを介して、前述の変量を別個に測定し、
−測定された変量を互いに比較することが可能であるため、
上述の基材をコーティングするための有利なプロセスが、本発明によって達成される。本発明の装置を使用する場合、コーティングチャンバ(100)内に既に導入されているコーティングスラリーが、取り付けられたモノリス(121)に供される準備が整っているか否かを、チェックすることが可能である。一部の場合には、既に言及されたように、このスラリーは、不均等であるか、又は泡を含むものと思われる(図2)。コーティングプロセスが継続する場合には、このことにより、そのモノリスのチャネル(110)内部に、乱れたコーティングが作り出されることになる。モノリスの長さの一部にわたってのみ実行されるコーティングプロセスに関しては、本質的に、このことにより、異なるチャネルに関して異なるゾーン長さが結果的に生じ、このことはまた、コーティングされたモノリスが規格外のものとなるリスクを、飛躍的に増大させる。このことは、コーティング速度が、またそれゆえ、コーティングチャンバ内へのコーティングスラリーの導入の速度が、更に増大される場合には、更により顕著なものとなる。
−2つの端面、外周面、及び軸長Lを有する、円筒形の担体本体(121)であって、第1の端面から第2の端面まで複数のチャネルが横断する、その担体を、本発明の装置(122)に、頂部から供するステップと、
−前述の装置(122)に、前述の担体本体(121)を液密方式で取り付けるステップと、
−センサ(123、124、125)を介して変量を測定しつつ、コーティングチャンバ(100)内に、コーティングスラリー(113)を下方からポンプ圧送するステップと、
−コーティング操作を更に処理するための条件が満たされているか又は満たされていないかを、信号送信するステップとを含んでいる。

Claims (6)
- 円筒形の担体本体であり、2つの端面、外周面、及び軸長Lをそれぞれが有し、第1の端面から第2の端面まで複数のチャネルが横断する、排気ガス浄化触媒の製造用の基材(121)を、液体コーティングスラリー(113)でコーティングするための装置が提示され、
前記装置は、
コーティングチャンバ(100)であって、前記基材(121)を頂部から受容し、前記基材を液密方式で前記コーティングチャンバ(100)に取り付けるように設計され、前記液体コーティングスラリー(113)を下方から受容することが更に可能な、コーティングチャンバ(100)を備え、
前記コーティングチャンバ(100)は、前記コーティングチャンバ(100)内部での前記液体コーティングスラリーの高さを、変量を測定することによってチェックするためのデバイスを更に備え、
前記デバイスは、前記コーティングチャンバ(100)内に等しい高さで取り付けられている少なくとも第1のセンサ(123)及び第2のセンサ(125)に対して、前記コーティングチャンバ内の下側位置(124)に1つのセンサを有し、
前記デバイスは、
−下側センサ、並びに少なくとも前記第1のセンサ及び前記第2のセンサを介して、前記変量を別個に測定し、
−前記測定された変量を互いに比較することが可能である、装置。 - 少なくとも前記第1のセンサ(123)及び前記第2のセンサ(125)は、前記コーティングチャンバ(100)の周囲に、互いに対して最大距離で位置決めされる、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記変量は、電気的変量であり、電流、容量、及び周波数からなる群から選択することができる、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記電気的変量間の遅延が、既定の値を下回る場合には、前記デバイスは、通告を与える、
請求項3に記載の装置。 - 前記基材(121)は、ウォールフロー型フィルタ又はフロースルー型モノリスである、
請求項1に記載の装置。 - 排気ガス浄化触媒の製造用の基材をコーティングするための、請求項1に記載の装置の使用法であって、前記使用法は、
−2つの端面、外周面、及び軸長Lを有する、円筒形の担体本体(121)であって、前記第1の端面から前記第2の端面まで複数のチャネルが横断する、前記担体本体を、請求項1に記載の装置に、頂部から供するステップと、
−前記請求項1に記載の装置に、前記担体本体(121)を液密方式で取り付けるステップと、
−センサ(123、124、125)を介して変量を測定しつつ、
コーティングチャンバ(100)内に、コーティングスラリー(113)を下方からポンプ圧送するステップと、
−コーティング操作を更に処理するための条件が、満たされているか又は満たされていないかを、信号送信するステップと
を含む、装置の使用法。
