Claims (8)
- 寸法が略同一の円筒型の複数の電池を交換可能に収容する電池ケースと、前記電池によって充電されるメインコンデンサと、前記メインコンデンサによって電圧を印加される閃光放電管とを含むストロボ装置であって、
各電池の電圧を個別に検出する電圧検出部と、
前記電圧検出部により検出される前記複数の電池の合計の電圧が第1所定値より大きく、且つ各電池相互の電圧差が所定値以下である条件が成立していれば、リチウム電池の充電に適した第1電流値による充電特性をもって前記メインコンデンサの充電が行われ、前記合計の電圧が前記第1所定値以下であれば、前記第1電流値より大きい第2電流値による充電特性をもって前記メインコンデンサの充電が行われる制御を行う充電制御部とを有するストロボ装置。 - 前記充電制御部は、前記条件が成立していて、前記電圧検出部により検出される各電池の電圧の全てが前記第1所定値より小さい第2所定値未満であれば、前記第1電流値による充電特性をもって前記メインコンデンサの充電が行われ、前記第2所定値未満でなければ、前記メインコンデンサの充電を禁止する制御を行う請求項1に記載のストロボ装置。
- 前記充電制御部は、前記条件が成立していて、前記電圧検出部により検出される各電池の電圧の全てが前記第2所定値より小さい第3所定値以上であれば、前記第1電流値による充電特性をもって前記メインコンデンサの充電が行われ、前記第3所定値以上でなければ、前記メインコンデンサの充電を禁止する制御を行う請求項2に記載のストロボ装置。
- 各電池の温度を個別に検出する温度検出部を有し、
前記充電制御部は、前記温度検出部により検出される各電池の温度が全て所定値以下である場合には前記メインコンデンサの充電を許可し、少なくとも一つの前記電池の温度が前記所定値以下でない場合には前記メインコンデンサの充電を禁止する制御を行う請求項1から3の何れか一項に記載のストロボ装置。 - 前記電圧検出部及び前記充電制御部を構成するプリント回路基板を有し、前記プリント回路基板には前記温度検出部を構成する温度センサが前記電池ケースに収容される電池毎に実装されている請求項4に記載のストロボ装置。
- 前記電圧検出部及び前記充電制御部を構成するプリント回路基板を有し、
各温度検出部は、前記プリント回路基板に実装された前記電池ケースに収容される電池毎に前記プリント回路基板に実装された温度センサ及び対応する電池の外周面に接触する感温子を含む請求項4に記載のストロボ装置。 - 前記電池ケースが収容可能な前記電池は、リチウム電池、ニッケル水素電池或いはアルカリ電池を含む請求項1から6の何れか一項に記載のストロボ装置。
- 寸法が略同一の円筒型の複数の電池を交換可能に保持する電池ケースと、前記電池によって充電されるメインコンデンサと、前記メインコンデンサによって電圧を印加される閃光放電管とを含むストロボ装置の充電制御方法であって、
各電池の電圧を個別に検出し、前記複数の電池の合計の電圧が第1所定値より大きく、且つ各電池相互の電圧差が所定値以下であれば、リチウム電池の充電に適した第1電流値による充電特性をもって前記メインコンデンサの充電を行い、前記合計の電圧が前記第1所定値以下であれば、前記第1電流値より大きい第2電流値による充電特性をもって前記メインコンデンサの充電を行うストロボ装置の充電制御方法。
