Description
湾曲変形性を有するフレキシブル表示パネルと、上記フレキシブル表示パネルと電気的に接続される可撓性回路基板と、駆動ICとを備え、
上記可撓性回路基板は、素子配置領域及び予備領域を有する本体部と、上記予備領域から上記フレキシブル表示パネルに向かって延びて上記フレキシブル表示パネルに接続される接続部とを含み、
上記本体部と上記接続部と上記フレキシブル表示パネルにより、隔離空間(separation space)を形成しており、
上記駆動ICは、上記素子配置領域に電気的に実装されている、フレキシブル表示装置を提供する。
Claims (9)
- フレキシブル表示装置であって、
湾曲変形性を有するフレキシブル表示パネルと、前記フレキシブル表示パネルと電気的に接続される可撓性回路基板と、駆動ICとを備え、
前記可撓性回路基板は、本体部及び接続部を含み、前記本体部は、素子配置領域と、予備領域とに分けられ、前記接続部は前記予備領域から前記フレキシブル表示パネルに向かって延びて前記フレキシブル表示パネルに接続され、
前記素子配置領域は、前記予備領域の両側に位置する第一素子配置領域及び第二素子配置領域を含み、
前記第一素子配置領域と前記接続部と前記フレキシブル表示パネルにより第一隔離空間を形成しており、前記第二素子配置領域と前記接続部と前記フレキシブル表示パネルにより第二隔離空間を形成しており、
前記第一素子配置領域及び前記第二素子配置領域には全て前記ICが電気的に実装されている、
ことを特徴とするフレキシブル表示装置。 - 前記接続部は、前記フレキシブル表示パネルの接続側縁に接続されている、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。
- 前記本体部は、前記接続側縁に沿って、前記第一素子配置領域と、前記予備領域と、前記第二素子配置領域に分けられる、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。 - 前記駆動ICの配置方向は、前記接続側縁に対して平行である、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。 - 前記予備領域は、前記接続部の前記接続側縁と反対側にある貫通領域である、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。 - 前記予備領域は、前記貫通領域と、前記貫通領域と前記第一素子配置領域の間に位置する第一分離領域と、前記貫通領域と前記第二素子配置領域の間に位置する第二分離領域と、を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。 - 前記第一素子配置領域は、前記第一素子配置領域から前記フレキシブル表示パネルとは反対に突出するように延びる第一拡張領域をさらに含み、前記第二素子配置領域は、前記第二素子配置領域から前記フレキシブル表示パネルとは反対に突出するように延びる第二拡張領域をさらに含み、
前記駆動ICは、前記第一拡張領域及び前記第二拡張領域に配置されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。
- 複数の前記可撓性回路基板を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜7に記載のフレキシブル表示装置。 - 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のフレキシブル表示装置を含む電子デバイス。
