Description
本発明の種々の実施形態は、例えばトランスミッションオイル等の車両用オイルのためのフィルタを含む、流体フィルタに関する。
[背景技術]
エンジンやトランスミッションといった車両用部品は、様々なオイルや他の内部流体とともに用いられることが多い。種々のフィルタは、流体から混入物や他の物質を除去することで知られている。トランスミッションの場合、例えば、フェルト状濾過材等のフィルタ濾過材を収容するハウジングを有するフィルタが、入口側または出口側でフィルタに対して圧力または吸引力が作用している状況下で、流体が濾過材を通過する状態で用いられている。
[発明の概要]
したがって、いくつかの実施形態では、細濾過材と粗濾過材とを有するフィルタに、細濾過材のバイパスを設けている。
以下の記述において、本発明を完全に理解できるようにするために、多数の具体的な詳細を説明する。しかし、当業者であれば、これらの具体的な詳細がなくても本発明を実施できるかもしれないことを認識するであろう。他の例においては、本発明の態様をいたずらに不明瞭にしないために、周知の方法、手順、及び/または構成要素を詳細には説明していない。
Claims (17)
- 流体フィルタであって、
流体容器を形成し、少なくとも、入口を有する底部シェルと、出口を有する頂部シェルとを有するハウジングと、
前記ハウジング内に配置されている細濾過材ひだ折りパックであって、内側周辺枠と、外側周辺枠と、細濾過材とを有する細濾過材ひだ折りパックと、を備え、
前記細濾過材は、上面と、底面と、複数の側部を有し、前記内側周辺枠に接続されており、
前記内側周辺枠は、前記細濾過材の前記複数の側部に隣接し、且つ、これらを囲む側壁を有し、
前記外側周辺枠は、前記内側周辺枠の前記側壁を囲むように延び、
複数の開口が、前記外側周辺枠と前記内側周辺枠との間に存在し、そこにおいて、流体の流れが前記入口から前記出口へと通過する際に、前記流体の流れの少なくとも一部が、常に前記複数の開口のうちの少なくとも一部を通過すると共に、前記流体の流れの少なくとも一部が、前記細濾過材を通過するよう、前記複数の開口の各々が、前記外側周辺枠の少なくとも一部により少なくとも部分的に画定されると共に、前記外側周辺枠の少なくとも一部を通過して伸びる、
流体フィルタ。 - 前記内側周辺枠に接続される複数のリブをさらに備え、前記複数のリブは、前記細濾過材が前記内側周辺枠に接続されるよう、前記細濾過材を外側被覆している、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記内側周辺枠の前記側壁は、それぞれ、前記細濾過材に向かう内側を向く表面と、前記細濾過材から離れる方に向かう外側を向く表面と、を有し、
前記外側周辺枠は、周辺フランジ体と、複数の周辺フランジ要素とを有し、そこにおいて、前記複数の開口の各々が、前記複数の周辺フランジ要素のうちの少なくとも1つと、前記内側周辺枠と、前記周辺フランジ体とにより、少なくとも部分的に画定されるよう、前記複数の周辺フランジ要素は、前記周辺フランジ体から内側に伸び、且つ、前記内側周辺枠の前記側壁の少なくとも一部における前記外側を向く表面に接続される、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。 - 前記複数の開口は、前記内側周辺枠の周囲に一定間隔で配置されている、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記複数の開口は、各々の断面が正方形状である、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記細濾過材ひだ折りパックは、一体的に外側被覆されたひだ折りパックである、請求項2記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記ハウジング内に配置されている粗濾過材エレメントをさらに備えており、
前記粗濾過材エレメントは、前記細濾過材よりも粗目である粗濾過材を有し、前記粗濾過材エレメントは、流体の流れが前記入口から前記出口へと通過する際に、前記流体の流れにおける全ての流体が、前記粗濾過材を通過するよう構成されている、請求項2記載の流体フィルタ。 - 前記細濾過材ひだ折りパックは、前記粗濾過材エレメントの上流側に配置されている、請求項7記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記細濾過材ひだ折りパックは、一体的に外側被覆されたひだ折りパックである、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記ハウジング内に配置されている粗濾過材エレメントをさらに備えており、
前記粗濾過材エレメントは、前記細濾過材よりも粗目である粗濾過材を有し、前記粗濾過材エレメントは、流体の流れが前記入口から前記出口へと通過する際に、前記流体の流れにおける全ての流体が、前記粗濾過材を通過するよう構成されている、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。 - 前記粗濾過材は網である、請求項10記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記細濾過材ひだ折りパックは、前記粗濾過材エレメントの上流側に配置されている、請求項11記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記粗濾過材エレメントは、外側被覆されたひだ折りパックである、請求項11記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記細濾過材は、フェルト又は高性能濾過材のうちの1つである、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記頂部シェルは、頂部シェル周辺フランジを有し、
前記底部シェルは、底部シェル周辺フランジを有し、
前記頂部シェル周辺フランジ、及び、前記底部シェル周辺フランジは、前記流体容器の内部の前記細濾過材ひだ折りパックと共に前記流体容器を形成するよう、取り付けられ、共に密封される、請求項1記載の流体フィルタ。 - 前記頂部シェル周辺フランジ、及び、前記底部シェル周辺フランジは、レーザー溶接、接着、固着、摩擦溶接、又は、振動溶接により取り付けられ、共に密封される、請求項15記載の流体フィルタ。
- 前記外側周辺枠の少なくとも一部が、前記頂部シェル周辺フランジ、及び、前記底部シェル周辺フランジの間に閉じ込められている、請求項15記載の流体フィルタ。
