Description
本出願は、2015年3月31日付韓国特許出願第10−2015−0045310号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示された全ての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。
本発明は、パウチ外装材とこれを含むパウチ型二次電池に関し、具体的に水分感知機能が付与された、内部樹脂層/中間樹脂層/外部樹脂層で構成されたパウチ外装材とこれを含むパウチ型二次電池に関する。
内部樹脂層、中間樹脂層及び外部樹脂層が積層されてなる二次電池用パウチ外装材において、
前記内部樹脂層はポリオレフィン系樹脂及び熱硬化性水分吸収材を含む、二次電池用パウチ外装材を提供する。
内部樹脂層、中間樹脂層及び外部樹脂層が積層されてなる二次電池用パウチ外装材において、
前記内部樹脂層はポリオレフィン系樹脂及び熱硬化性水分吸収材を含む、二次電池用パウチ外装材を提供する。
熱硬化性水分吸収材を粉砕して熱硬化性水分吸収材粉末を製造する段階(段階1);
ポリオレフィン系樹脂溶液に前記熱硬化性水分吸収材粉末を分散する段階(段階2);及び
前記熱硬化性水分吸収材粉末が分散されたポリオレフィン系樹脂溶液を押出してフィルム状に製造する段階(段階3);で形成され得る。
電極組立体;及び
前記電極組立体を収容する本発明のパウチ外装材を含むパウチ型二次電池を提供する。
実施例1.
(内部樹脂層の製造)
熱硬化性水分吸収材であるカルボキシメチルセルロースをせん断−破断装備を用いて3000rpmで回転しながら、20分間粉砕してカルボキシメチルセルロース粉末(平均粒径1μm)を製造した。
前記内部樹脂層上に60μm厚さのノルボルネン樹脂をラミネーティング方式で積層して中間樹脂層を形成した。
(内部樹脂層の製造)
アクリル酸−アクリルアミド共重合体をせん断−破断装備を用いて3000rpmで回転しながら、20分間粉砕してアクリル酸−アクリルアミド共重合体粉末(平均粒径1μm)を製造した。
前記内部樹脂層上に60μm厚さのノルボルネン樹脂をラミネーティング方式で積層して中間樹脂層を形成した。
エチレンマレイン酸無水物共重合体をせん断−破断装備を用いて3000rpmで回転しながら、20分間粉砕してエチレンマレイン酸無水物共重合体粉末(平均粒径1μm)を製造した。
前記内部樹脂層上に60μm厚さのノルボルネン樹脂をラミネーティング方式で積層して中間樹脂層を形成した。
熱硬化性水分吸収材であるカルボキシメチルセルロースをせん断−破断装備を用いて3000rpmで回転しながら、20分間粉砕してカルボキシメチルセルロース粉末(平均粒径6μm)を製造した。
前記内部樹脂層上に60μm厚さのノルボルネン樹脂をラミネーティング方式で積層して中間樹脂層を形成した。
熱硬化性水分吸収材であるカルボキシメチルセルロースをせん断−破断装備を用いて3000rpmで回転しながら、20分間粉砕してカルボキシメチルセルロース粉末(平均粒径5μm)を製造した。
前記内部樹脂層上に60μm厚さのノルボルネン樹脂をラミネーティング方式で積層して中間樹脂層を形成した。
熱硬化性水分吸収材であるカルボキシメチルセルロースをせん断−破断装備を用いて3000rpmで回転しながら、20分間粉砕してカルボキシメチルセルロース粉末(平均粒径5μm)を製造した。
前記内部樹脂層上に60μm厚さのノルボルネン樹脂をラミネーティング方式で積層して中間樹脂層を形成した。
前記実施例1から3及び比較例1から3のパウチ外装材シートを、それぞれ60℃で90%の湿度を有するオーブンに7日間貯蔵した後、断面を確認した。

Claims (11)
- 内部樹脂層、中間樹脂層及び外部樹脂層が積層されてなる二次電池用パウチ外装材であって、
前記内部樹脂層はポリオレフィン系樹脂及び熱硬化性水分吸収材を含み、
前記熱硬化性水分吸収材の含量は、前記ポリオレフィン系樹脂の全体重量を基準として1重量%以上5重量%以下の範囲であり、
前記熱硬化性水分吸収材は、アクリレート系共重合体、エチレンマレイン酸無水物共重合体、カルボキシメチルセルロース、及びポリエチレンオキシドからなる群から選択された単一物または2種以上の混合物であり、
前記熱硬化性水分吸収材は、1μmから5μmの粒径を有する粉末であり、
前記熱硬化性水分吸収材は、水分吸収及び吸着時にゲルに変化して体積が増加する性質を有し、パウチ内部に浸透した水分を吸収すると、初期重量を基準として10倍以上膨れ上がる性質を有するものであることを特徴とする、
二次電池用パウチ外装材。 - 前記ポリオレフィン系樹脂は、延伸または無延伸ポリプロピレン共重合体、ポリエチレン共重合体、エチレンプロピレン共重合体、及びポリプロピレンとアクリル酸の共重合体からなる群から選択された単一物または2種以上の混合物を含むものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 前記熱硬化性水分吸収材は、前記ポリオレフィン系樹脂に分散された形態で含まれるものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 前記内部樹脂層は、
熱硬化性水分吸収材を粉砕して熱硬化性水分吸収材粉末を製造する段階;ポリオレフィン系樹脂溶液に前記熱硬化性水分吸収材粉末を分散する段階;及び前記熱硬化性水分吸収材粉末が分散されたポリオレフィン系樹脂溶液を押出してフィルム状に製造する段階;で形成されるものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。 - 前記内部樹脂層の厚さは、20μmから100μmのものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 前記中間樹脂層は、サイクリックオレフィン系樹脂を含むものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 前記中間樹脂層の厚さは、60μmから100μmのものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 前記外部樹脂層は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ナイロン、低密度ポリエチレン(LDPE)、高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)、及び直鎖状低密度ポリエチレン(LLDPE)の中から選択された1種の単一層または2種以上の複合層を含むものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 前記外部樹脂層の厚さは、10μmから100μmのものである請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材。
- 電極組立体;及び
前記電極組立体を収容する請求項1に記載の二次電池用パウチ外装材を含むパウチ型二次電池。 - 前記パウチ型二次電池は、中大型デバイスの電源が電池モジュールの単位電池として用いられることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のパウチ型二次電池。
