Claims (12)
- 直列通信ラインに接続可能な第1端子及び第2端子と、
基本周波数を保存したメモリー部と、
前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が、前記メモリー部に保存された基本周波数に該当する場合、自身の地位をマスターユニットとして設定する制御部と、を含み、
前記メモリー部は、追加周波数値をさらに保存し、
前記制御部は、自身の地位を設定した後、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数に前記追加周波数値を加えた起動信号を、前記第2端子を介して出力することを特徴とするバッテリー管理ユニット。 - 前記制御部は、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が、前記メモリー部に保存された基本周波数に該当しない場合、自身の地位をスレーブユニットとして設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリー管理ユニット。
- 前記制御部は、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が、前記基本周波数に幾つの追加周波数値が加算された値であるかを判断し、自身の通信識別子を設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリー管理ユニット。
- 請求項1に記載の複数のバッテリー管理ユニットと、
前記複数のバッテリー管理ユニットを連結する直列通信ラインと、を含むことを特徴とするバッテリー管理システム。 - 前記直列通信ラインが、デイジーチェーンであることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリー管理システム。
- 請求項4に記載のバッテリー管理システムと、
前記バッテリー管理システムによって充電及び放電が制御されるように電気的に接続した複数の二次電池と、を含むことを特徴とするバッテリーパック。 - 請求項6に記載のバッテリーパックと、
前記バッテリーパックから電力の供給を受ける負荷と、を含むことを特徴とするバッテリー駆動システム。 - 前記負荷が、前記バッテリーパックに含まれた前記直列通信ラインの一端に接続した外部制御ユニットをさらに含み、
前記外部制御ユニットが、前記直列通信ラインを介して基本周波数を有する起動信号を出力することを特徴とする請求項7に記載のバッテリー駆動システム。 - 前記負荷が、電気駆動手段または携帯用器機であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバッテリー駆動システム。
- 直列通信ラインに接続可能な第1端子及び第2端子と、起動信号の基本周波数及び追加周波数値を保存したメモリー部と、制御部と、を含むバッテリー管理ユニットが自身の通信識別子を設定する方法であって、
(a)前記制御部が、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が前記メモリー部に保存された基本周波数に該当するかを判断する段階と、
(b)前記制御部が、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が基本周波数に該当する場合、自身の地位をマスターユニットとして設定する段階と、
(c)前記制御部が、自身の地位を設定した後、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数に前記追加周波数値を加えた起動信号を、前記第2端子を介して出力する段階と、を含むことを特徴とするバッテリー管理ユニットの通信識別子の設定方法。 - 前記(b)段階は、前記制御部が、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が前記メモリー部に保存された基本周波数に該当しない場合、自身の地位をスレーブユニットとして設定することをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリー管理ユニットの通信識別子の設定方法。
- (d)前記制御部が、前記第1端子を介して受信した起動信号の周波数が前記基本周波数に幾つの追加周波数値が加算された値であるかを判断し、自身の通信識別子を設定する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリー管理ユニットの通信識別子の設定方法。
