Description
即ち本発明は、
屋根面に、アルキド変性アクリル樹脂を含有するバインダー樹脂及び着色顔料を含有し、乾燥膜厚が25μmの時の隠蔽率が80%以上である着色塗料を塗装して、光沢度が70以上の艶有り着色塗膜を形成する工程(I)、
該工程(I)で得られた艶有り着色塗膜面に、平均粒子径が110を超えて且つ500nm以下の非水樹脂分散液、シリカ及びシリカ以外の微粒子を含み、塗料中に含まれる樹脂固形分100質量部に対して、シリカが10質量部以下、微粒子が10質量部以上、非水樹脂分散液固形分が50質量部を超える範囲内にある艶消しクリヤー塗料を塗装し、常温乾燥させて艶消しクリヤー塗膜を形成する工程(II)を含むことを特徴とする屋外屋根の塗装仕上げ方法、該方法で得られた艶消し外観を有する塗装物品、に関する。
本発明の第1の工程は屋根面に、着色塗料を塗装する工程である。
本発明の第2の工程は、上記工程(I)で得られた着色塗膜上に、艶消しクリヤー塗料を塗装して艶消しクリヤー塗膜を形成する工程(II)である。
製造例1
反応容器に、アルキド樹脂溶液36.5部(*)及び「スワゾール1000」(注)23部を配合し、攪拌しながら120℃まで昇温した。
次いで、反応容器内液を同温度で保持、攪拌しながら、下記モノマー組成物及び開始剤溶液をジそれぞれ3時間かけて滴下し、反応させた。
その後冷却させ、「スワゾール1000」で固形分が50%になるまで希釈し、水酸基を有するアルキド変性アクリル樹脂溶液(A−1)を得た。重量平均分子量は50000であった。固形分水酸基価は9.9mgKOH/gであった。
モノマー組成物
スチレン 23部
メチルメタクリレート 17.7部
2−エチルヘキシルアクリレート 10部
i−ブチルメタクリレート 22.5部
ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート 2.3部
アクリル酸 0.8部
開始剤溶液
ターシャリーブチルパーオキサイド 5部
「スワゾール1000」(注) 10部
(*)アルキド樹脂溶液:あまに油脂肪酸/無水フタル酸/ペンタエリスリトール/グリセリン=477部/147部/133部/4部、希釈溶剤「スワゾール1000」、固形分65%、
(注)「スワゾール1000」:商品名、丸善石油化学社製、芳香族炭化水素系溶剤。
製造例2
撹拌装置、温度計、冷却管及び窒素ガス導入口を備えた四ツ口フラスコにミネラルスピリット35.2部、及び高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液(注)37.9部を仕込んで窒素を吹き込みながら100℃まで昇温させた。次いで、下記モノマー組成物181.6部を4時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後30分間熟成し、その後更にミネラルスピリット10.5部、及びt−ブチルパーオキシ−2−エチルヘキサノエート0.3部の混合物を1時間かけて反応容器に滴下した。滴下終了後1時間熟成することにより、38%非水樹脂ディスパージョンを得た。次いで、得られた非水樹脂ディスパージョンを130℃に加熱後、真空減圧ポンプを用いて固形分が50%となるまでミネラルスピリットを留去し非水樹脂分散液(A−1)を得た。固形分50%、平均粒子径350nm、コア/シェル比は70/30であった。固形分水酸基価は10.8mgKOH/gであった。
モノマー組成物
メチルメタクリレート 19.7部
メチルアクリレート 47.5部
ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート 2.5部
高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液 37.9部
ミネラルスピリット 73.3部
2,2´−アゾビスイソブチロニトリル 0.7部。
温度計、サーモスタット、撹拌装置、還流冷却器、窒素導入管及び滴下装置を備えた反応容器に、ミネラルスピリット69.5部を仕込み、窒素を吹き込みながら110℃に昇温後、同温度にて、i−ブチルメタクリレート30部、t−ブチルメタクリレート35部、2−エチルヘキシルメタクリレート35部、ミネラルスピリット7.3部、及び2,2’−アゾビスイソブチロニトリル1.0部からなるモノマー混合物を3時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後30分間熟成し、その後さらにミネラルスピリット12.6部、及び2,2´―アゾビスイソブチロニトリル0.9部の混合物を1時間かけて反応容器に滴下した。滴下終了後1時間熟成させたのち、ミネラルスピリット、及び酢酸エチルで希釈し、固形分40%の高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液を得た。得られた高分子分散安定剤は重量平均分子量20,000であった。
製造例2において、フラスコに仕込む高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液を37.9部から67.9部に、モノマー組成物に含まれる高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液の量を37.9部から7.9部に変更し、固形分を35%とする以外は同様にして非水樹脂分散液溶液(A−2)を得た。平均粒子径110nm、コア/シェル比は70/30であった。
製造例2において、フラスコに仕込む高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液を37.9部から7.9部に、モノマー組成物に含まれる高分子分散安定剤(A)溶液の量を37.9部から67.9部に変更する以外は同様にして非水樹脂分散液溶液(A−3)を得た。固形分50%、平均粒子径550nm、コア/シェル比は70/30であった。
製造例5〜9
下記表1記載の配合組成にて着色塗料(E−1)〜(E−5)を製造した。尚、表1には各着色塗料(E−1)〜(E−5)から形成された各着色塗膜の隠ぺい率を明細書記載の方法にて測定し、併記した。

(注)MA−220::商品名、三菱化学社製、カーボンブラック。
製造例10〜19
下記表2記載の配合組成にて艶消しクリヤー塗料(K−1)〜(K−9)を製造した。
(注)テクポリマー MB30X−20:商品名、積水化成品工業社製、架橋ポリメタクリル酸メチルの真球状微粒子、平均粒子径20μm。
実施例1
磨き軟鋼板(90×300×0.8mm)に、「スーパーザウルス」(商品名、関西ペイント(株)製、2液型エポキシ樹脂下塗り塗料)を、中毛ローラーにより塗布量が0.1kg/m2となるように塗装し、23℃・50%RHで24時間乾燥させた。
ついで、着色塗料(E−1)を中毛ローラーにより塗布量が0.1kg/m2となるように塗装し、23℃・50%RHで24時間乾燥させ、光沢が85である艶有り着色塗膜を得た。その後、該着色塗膜上に、艶消しクリヤー塗料(K−1)を中毛ローラーで塗布量が0.1kg/m2となるように塗装し、23℃・50%RHで7日間乾燥させ試験板を作成した。
上記実施例1において、着色塗料及び艶消しクリヤーの組み合わせを下記表3に記載の通りとする以外は実施例1と同様にして試験塗板を得た。各試験塗板について、外観評価と性能評価を行った。結果を表3に併せて示す。
(*)光沢(60°G):上記で得られた各試験塗板の光沢度を明細書記載の方法で測定した。値が低いほど艶消し度合いが大きいことを示す。
(*)ツヤムラ:上記で得られた各試験塗板のツヤムラを下記基準にて目視評価した。
◎:ツヤムラはほとんど認められない、
○:斜めから見ると若干ツヤムラは認められるもののほとんど気にならない、
△:正面から見てもツヤムラが認められる、
×:ツヤムラが顕著。
(*)透明感:上記で得られた各試験塗板の透明感を下記基準にて目視評価した。
〇:着色層の色が維持されている、
×:白く濁り、着色層の色が白くボケている。
(*)塗膜ワレ:各種試験塗板を20℃の水中に18時間浸漬した後、直ちに−20℃の恒温槽中で3時間冷却し、次いで50℃の恒温槽中で3時間加温する計24時間を1サイクルとする温冷繰り返し試験に供した。3サイクル後の塗膜表面の状態を目視にて観察した。
◎:ワレが全く認められない、
○:わずかにワレが認められるが、50cm離れて見るとわからない、
△:ワレが認められ、50cm離れてもわかる、
×:全面に著しいワレが認められる。
◎:塗膜ハガレが全く認められない、
○:わずかに塗膜ハガレが認められるが、50cm離れて見るとわからない、
△:塗膜ハガレが認められ、50cm離れてもわかる、
×:全面に著しい塗膜ハガレが認められる。
Claims (7)
- 屋根面に、アルキド変性アクリル樹脂を含有するバインダー樹脂及び着色顔料を含有し、乾燥膜厚が25μmの時の隠蔽率が80%以上である着色塗料を塗装して、光沢度が70以上の艶有り着色塗膜を形成する工程(I)、
該工程(I)で得られた艶有り着色塗膜面に、平均粒子径が110を超えて且つ500nm以下の非水樹脂分散液、シリカ及びシリカ以外の微粒子を含み、塗料中に含まれる樹脂固形分100質量部に対して、シリカが10質量部以下、微粒子が10質量部以上、非水樹脂分散液固形分が50質量部を超える範囲内にある艶消しクリヤー塗料を塗装し、常温乾燥させて艶消しクリヤー塗膜を形成する工程(II)を含むことを特徴とする屋外屋根の塗装仕上げ方法。 - 屋根面の屋根材が金属板である請求項1記載の塗装仕上げ方法。
- 着色塗料が、ポリイソシアネート化合物をさらに含む請求項1又は2に記載の塗装仕上げ方法。
- 艶消しクリヤー塗料に含まれる樹脂成分固形分中に占める非水樹脂分散液固形分の割合が65質量%以上である請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載の塗装仕上げ方法。
- 艶消しクリヤー塗料が、アルキド変性アクリル樹脂をさらに含む請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の塗装仕上げ方法。
- 艶消しクリヤー塗料が、ポリイソシアネート化合物をさらに含む請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載の塗装仕上げ方法。
- 請求項1ないし6のいずれか1項に記載の方法で得られた艶消し外観を有する塗装物品。
