Claims (18)
- エアゾール生成システムであって、
互いに隣り合って配設され互いの間にニップを画定する上部ローラと下部ローラとを有する逆回転ローラ対であって、前記ニップが上流側と下流側とを有している逆回転ローラ対と、
前記上部ローラの上方に配置され、前記上部ローラに直接接触していない流体源であって、流体の流れで前記上部ローラを塗膜する流体源と、
前記逆回転ローラ対を駆動して互いに逆回転させ、前記流体塗膜が前記ニップを通って前記下流側に引き込まれるようにし、流体を前記ローラのうち一方に付着させるように構成された駆動要素であって、前記流体が前記ニップの前記下流側で前記逆回転ローラのローラ表面とローラ表面の間で延伸して流体フィラメントを形成し、前記流体フィラメントは該流体フィラメントが複数の液滴に分裂するまで延伸する駆動要素と、
を含むエアゾール生成システム。 - 前記逆回転ローラ対の少なくとも1つが、単一の材料を含む、請求項1に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記逆回転ローラ対の少なくとも1つが芯材料を含み、前記逆回転ローラ対の少なくとも1つが前記芯材料より軟質の材料の表面層で塗膜されるかまたはこれを含む、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記流体源はスロットビード塗膜、スロットカーテン塗膜、多層スロットビード塗膜、摺動ビード塗膜、および摺動カーテン塗膜の少なくとも1種を含む、請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ニップの前記下流側近傍で真空を印加して前記複数の液滴が前記ニップの前記下流側から離間移動するように付勢する真空源を更に含む、請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ニップの前記下流側近傍で空気を提供して前記複数の液滴が前記ニップの前記下流側から離間移動するように付勢するエアフロー源を更に含む、請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ニップの前記下流側近傍で印加されて前記複数の液滴が前記ニップの前記下流側から離間移動するように付勢する電界を更に含む、請求項1〜請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ローラの各々から気体を通り抜けさせ前記ローラから放射状に吐出させる気体源を更に含む、請求項1〜請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記吐出された気体により前記複数の液滴を特定の方向に方向づける、請求項8に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ローラの少なくとも1つがテクスチャ付き表面を含む、請求項1〜請求項9のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの表面は前記流体の少なくとも1つの特徴に基づいている、請求項10に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの表面は前記流体塗膜の厚さを変化させる、請求項10又は請求項11に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記テクスチャ付き表面は前記流体フィラメントが形成される方法を調整する1つ以上の穴を含む、請求項10〜請求項12のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ローラ対のローラが両方ともがテクスチャ付き表面を含む、請求項1〜請求項13のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ローラの少なくとも1つが、前記流体塗膜が前記ローラに接触する角度を変える表面処理材料で処理されている、請求項1〜請求項14のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記ローラ対の1つに接触または略接触しており、前記ローラ対の前記1つに塗膜される前記流体の膜厚を調整する計量ブレードを更に含む、請求項1〜請求項15のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記複数の液滴を収集するように配置された回収要素を更に含む、請求項1〜請求項16のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成システム。
- 前記液滴の回収が前記ニップの前記下流側で前記液滴へ真空を印加することを含む、請求項1〜請求項17のいずれか1項に記載のエアゾール生成プロセス。
