Description
テキスタイル基材、
基材上に電子写真的に印刷された印刷インク層、および
電子写真的に印刷されたインク層上に堆積された架橋ポリマーコーティング
を含む、印刷されたテキスタイルを提供する。
着色剤は、顔料、染料、およびこれらの組み合わせから選択してよい。着色剤は透明、単色、または利用可能な色の任意の組み合わせから構成されるものであってよい。着色剤は、シアン着色剤、イエロー着色剤、マゼンタ着色剤、およびブラック着色剤から選択されてよい。電子写真組成物は複数の着色剤を含んでよい。電子写真組成物は、相互に異なる第一の着色剤と第二の着色剤を含んでよい。さらなる着色剤もまた、第一および第二の着色剤と共に存在してよい。電子写真組成物は第一および第二の着色剤を含んでよく、ここでそれぞれの着色剤は独立して、シアン着色剤、イエロー着色剤、マゼンタ着色剤、およびブラック着色剤から選択される。幾つかの例では、第一の着色剤はブラック着色剤を含み、第二の着色剤は非ブラック顔料、例えばシアン着色剤、イエロー着色剤、およびマゼンタ着色剤から選択される着色剤を含む。着色剤は、フタロシアニン着色剤、インジゴイド着色剤、インダントロン着色剤、モノアゾ着色剤、ジアゾ着色剤、無機塩および錯体、ジオキサジン着色剤、ペリレン着色剤、アントラキノン着色剤、およびこれらの任意の組み合わせから選択してよい。
電子写真インク組成物は(例えばトナー粒子)は、ポリマー樹脂を含むことができる。ポリマー樹脂は、熱可塑性ポリマーを含んでよい。熱可塑性ポリマーは場合により、熱可塑性樹脂と称される。ポリマー樹脂は、エチレンおよびアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸のいずれかであるエチレン系不飽和酸のコポリマーを含んでよい。幾つかの例では、樹脂のポリマーは、エチレンまたはプロピレンアクリル酸コポリマー;エチレンまたはプロピレンメタクリル酸コポリマー;エチレン酢酸ビニルコポリマー;エチレンまたはプロピレン(例えば80重量%から99.9重量%)およびメタクリル酸またはアクリル酸(例えば0.1重量%から20重量%)のアルキル(例えばC1からC5)エステルのコポリマー;エチレン(例えば80重量%から99.9重量%)、アクリル酸またはメタクリル酸(例えば0.1重量%から20.0重量%)、およびメタクリル酸またはアクリル酸のアルキル(例えばC1からC5)エステル(例えば0.1重量%から20重量%)のコポリマー;エチレンまたはプロピレン(例えば70重量%から99.9重量%)と無水マレイン酸(例えば0.1重量%から30重量%)のコポリマー;ポリエチレン;ポリスチレン;アイソタクチックポリプロピレン(結晶性);エチレンエチレンエチルアクリレートコポリマー;ポリエステル;ポリビニルトルエン;ポリアミド;スチレン/ブタジエンコポリマー;エポキシ樹脂;アクリル樹脂(例えばアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸と、少なくとも一つのアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸のアルキルエステルのコポリマー、ここでアルキルは1から約20の炭素原子を有してよく、メチルメタクリレート(例えば50%から90%)/メタクリル酸(例えば0重量%から20重量%)/エチルヘキシルアクリレート(例えば10重量%から50重量%)のごときである);エチレン−アクリレートターポリマー:エチレン−アクリル酸エステル−無水マレイン酸(MAH)またはグリシジルメタクリレート(GMA)ターポリマー;エチレン−アクリル酸イオノマー、およびこれらの組み合わせから選択されてよい。
電子写真組成物および/または印刷基材上に印刷されるインクは、チャージディレクタを含むことができる。チャージディレクタは、静電組成物の粒子に対して所望の極性の帯電を付与しおよび/または静電組成物の粒子に対する十分な静電帯電を維持するために、静電組成物に添加することができる。チャージディレクタは、限定するものではないが、脂肪酸の金属塩、スルホコハク酸の金属塩、オキシリン酸の金属塩、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸の金属塩、芳香族カルボン酸またはスルホン酸の金属塩などを含むイオン性化合物、ならびにポリオキシエチレン化アルキルアミン、レシチン、ポリビニルピロリドン、多価アルコールの有機酸エステルなどといった双性イオンおよび非イオン性化合物を含んでよい。チャージディレクタは、油溶性石油スルホネート(例えば中性カルシウムPetronateTM、中性バリウムPetronateTM、および塩基性バリウムPetronateTM)、ポリブチレンスクシンイミド(例えばOLOATM1200およびAmoco575)、およびグリセリドの塩(例えば不飽和および飽和酸置換基を有するリン酸化モノグリセリドおよびジグリセリドのナトリウム塩)から選択することが可能であるが、これらに限定されるものではなく、また限定されるものではないが、スルホン酸のバリウム、ナトリウム、カルシウム、およびアルミニウム塩を含むスルホン酸塩から選択することが可能である。スルホン酸には、限定するものではないが、アルキルスルホン酸、アリールスルホン酸、およびアルキルコハク酸のスルホン酸(例えばWO2007/130069参照)が含まれてよい。チャージディレクタは、静電組成物の樹脂含有粒子に対して負の帯電または正の帯電を付与する。
一般に、キャリア液体は静電組成物の他の成分のための分散媒体として作用することができる。例えばキャリア液体は、炭化水素、シリコーンオイル、植物油、その他であるか、これらを含むものであることができる。キャリア液体は、トナー粒子のための媒体として使用可能な、絶縁性の非極性非水系液体を含みうるが、これに限定されるものではない。キャリア液体は、約109オームcmを超える抵抗値を有する化合物を含むことができる。キャリア液体は約5未満の、幾つかの例では約3未満の誘電率を有してよい。キャリア液体は炭化水素を含むことができるが、これらに限定されるものではない。炭化水素は、脂肪族炭化水素、異性化脂肪族炭化水素、分岐鎖脂肪族炭化水素、芳香族炭化水素、およびこれらの組み合わせを含み得るが、これらに限定されるものではない。キャリア液体の例には、脂肪族炭化水素、イソパラフィン系化合物、パラフィン系化合物、脱芳香族炭化水素化合物、および類似物が含まれるが、これらに限定されるものではない。特に、キャリア液体は、Isopar−GTM、Isopar−HTM、Isopar−LTM、Isopar−MTM、Isopar−KTM、Isopar−VTM、Norpar12TM、Norpar 13TM、Norpar 15TM、Exxol D40TM、ExxolD80TM、Exxol D100TM、Exxol D130TM、およびExxol D140TM(それぞれEXXON CORPORATIONにより市販されている);Teclen N−16TM、TeclenN−20TM、Teclen N−22TM、Nisseki Naphthesol LTM、NissekiNaphthesol MTM、Nisseki Naphthesol HTM、#0 Solvent LTM、#0Solvent MTM、#0 Solvent HTM、Nisseki lsosol 300TM、Nissekilsosol 400TM、AF−4TM、AF−5TM、AF−6TMおよびAF−7TM(それぞれNIPPON OILCORPORATIONにより市販されている);IP Solvent 1620TMおよびIP Solvent2028TM(それぞれIDEMITSU PETROCHEMICAL CO., LTD.により市販されている);Amsco OMSTMおよびAmsco460TM(それぞれAMERICAN MINERAL SPIRITS CORP.により市販されている);およびElectron、Positron、NewII、Purogen HF(100%合成テルペン)(ECOLINKTMにより市販)を含み得るが、これらに限定されるものではない。
テキスタイル基材は、任意の適切なテキスタイルまたは布帛基材であってよい。テキスタイル基材は織布または不織布であってよい。テキスタイル基材は糸から、例えば天然繊維または合成繊維の紡績糸またはフィラメントから形成されていてよい。テキスタイルまたは布帛基材は、下部支持基材またはテキスタイル/布帛支持基材とも呼ぶことができる。「支持」という用語はまた、コーティングおよび印刷されるイメージを担持するという、基材の物理的な目的をも参照している。印刷物の適用が所望とされる場合、任意のテキスタイル、布帛材料、布帛衣料、または他の布帛製品について、本書に記載の原理から利益を得ることができる。より具体的には、本開示において有用なテキスタイルまたは布帛基材には、天然および/または合成であってよい繊維を有する基材が含まれる。用語「テキスタイル」は例えば、布地、布帛材料、布帛衣料、または他の布帛製品を含む。テキスタイル構造は縦糸と横糸を有してよく、織布、不織布、編地、タフテッド、編み物、ノット地および圧縮構造であってよい。「縦糸」および「横糸」という用語は製織用語であり、テキスタイルの技術分野において通常の意味を有する。本書で使用するところでは、例えば縦糸は織機上で長さ方向の糸または長手糸を参照し、これに対して横糸は織機上で交差方向または横方向の糸を参照する。
Claims (15)
- テキスタイル上に洗濯耐性のあるイメージを印刷する方法であって、
液体電子写真インクを用いてテキスタイル基材上にイメージを電子写真的に印刷し、
印刷された電子写真インクに対してポリマーおよび架橋剤を含有するコーティング組成物を適用し、そして
適用されたコーティング組成物を架橋することを含有する方法。 - 液体電子写真インクが:
着色剤、
酸性ポリマー樹脂、
チャージアジュバント、
チャージディレクタ、および
液体キャリア
を含む、請求項1の方法。 - ポリマーコーティングが水性ポリマー溶液または分散液として適用される、請求項1または2の方法。
- ポリマーコーティングが架橋性部分を有するポリマーを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか1の方法。
- ポリマーコーティングが−CNおよび/またはカルボキシル基を有するポリマーを含む、請求項1から4のいずれか1の方法。
- ポリマーコーティングがアクリル系ポリマーまたはポリウレタン系ポリマーから選択されるポリマーを含む、請求項4または5の方法。
- ポリマーがスチレンアクリルポリマーまたはポリウレタンポリマーである、請求項6の方法。
- ポリマーコーティングが熱および/またはUVに対する曝露によって架橋される、請求項1から7のいずれか1の方法。
- テキスタイル基材が電子写真印刷に先立ってプライマーポリマーコーティングで処理される、請求項1から8のいずれか1の方法。
- プライマーポリマーコーティングがヘテロ原子含有基を有するプライマーポリマーを含む、請求項9の方法。
- プライマーポリマーがエチレンアクリル酸、ポリエチレンイミン、およびポリアミド樹脂から選択される、請求項10の方法。
- テキスタイル基材が合成テキスタイル基材である、請求項1から11のいずれか1の方法。
- テキスタイル基材、
基材上に電子写真的に印刷された印刷液体インク層、および
電子写真的に印刷されたインク層上に堆積された架橋ポリマーコーティング
を含む、洗濯耐性のある印刷されたテキスタイル。 - テキスタイル基材がその上に堆積されたプライマーポリマーコーティングを含み、そして電子写真的に印刷された液体インク層がプライマーを有する基材上に印刷されている、請求項14の洗濯耐性のある印刷されたテキスタイル。
- 請求項1から12のいずれか1の方法によって得られる、洗濯耐性のある印刷されたテキスタイル。
