Description
本願は、2015年3月26日に、日本に出願された特願2015−064676号に基づき優先権を主張し、その内容をここに援用する。
(1)本発明に係る一態様のバルブ制御装置は、バルブの開度を調節するアクチュエータに所定の伝送線を介して駆動信号を供給する駆動回路を備え、外部から供給される目標開度とバルブの実開度を示すセンサ信号とに基づいてPWM信号を生成して駆動回路に供給するバルブ制御装置であって、PWM信号及び駆動信号のモニター信号に基づいて伝送線の断線を検知する断線検知手段を備える。
本実施形態に係るバルブシステム及びバルブ制御装置は、図1に示すように、EWGバルブ1、EWGモータ2及びEWG制御部3を備える。なお、本実施形態における上記「EWG」は「Electric Waste Gate」の略である。

そして、最終リフト量設定部3eは、補正部3dから順次入力される補正リフト量を監視し、当該補正リフト量が上記ソフトランディング開始リフト量Lkに一致すると、一定の傾斜(速度)で停止目標リフト量Ltに到達する制御目標値を出力する。
なお、全閉学習処理部3cは、エンジンの停止時に長期学習値を不揮発性メモリに保存し、次にエンジンが起動した際には、上記保存した長期学習値を短期学習値の初期値として出力する。
(1)上記実施形態では、EWGバルブ1(ウエストゲートバルブ)を制御対象バルブとしたが、本発明はこれに限定されない。本発明は、エンジンにおけるEWGバルブ1(ウエストゲートバルブ)以外の各種バルブ、つまり各種の流量調節弁や開閉弁に適用可能である。
(5)上記実施形態では、駆動回路3iとして駆動電流モニター機能を備えたモータ駆動専用ICを採用したが、本発明はこれに限定されない。駆動電流モニター機能を備えないモータ駆動専用ICを駆動回路3iとして採用し、別途設けた追加回路によって駆動電流モニター機能を実現してもよい。

Claims (6)
- バルブの開度を調節するアクチュエータに所定の伝送線を介して駆動信号を供給する駆動回路を備え、外部から供給される目標開度と前記バルブの実開度を示すセンサ信号とに基づいてPWM信号を生成して前記駆動回路に供給するバルブ制御装置であって、
前記PWM信号及び前記駆動信号のモニター信号に基づいて前記伝送線の断線を検知する断線検知手段を備え、
前記駆動回路は、自身の健全性を診断する自己診断機能を備え、
前記断線検知手段は、前記PWM信号及び前記駆動信号の前記モニター信号に加えて前記駆動回路の自己診断結果に基づいて前記伝送線の断線を検知する
ことを特徴とするバルブ制御装置。 - 前記断線検知手段は、前記モニター信号として前記駆動信号のモニター電圧を取得し、当該モニター電圧が所定の電圧しきい値以下、かつ、前記PWM信号のデューティ比が所定のDUTYしきい値以上の状態が所定の評価時間継続した場合に前記伝送線が断線したと判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルブ制御装置。 - 前記断線検知手段は、前記モニター信号として前記駆動信号のモニター電圧を取得し、当該モニター電圧が所定の電圧しきい値以下、かつ、前記PWM信号のデューティ比が所定のDUTYしきい値以上の状態が所定の第1評価時間継続した後において、前記駆動回路の健全状態が所定の第2評価時間継続した場合に前記伝送線が断線したと判定する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバルブ制御装置。 - 前記アクチュエータがモータである場合、
前記断線検知手段は、前記PWM信号のデューティ比から前記モータで発生する逆起電力の影響を除外した実効駆動デューティ比を計算し、当該実効駆動デューティ比を所定のDUTYしきい値と比較する
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のバルブ制御装置。 - 前記バルブは、エンジンの過給機に設けられたウエストゲートバルブである
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のバルブ制御装置。 - 前記バルブと、
