Description
上述した脚設計原理は広範な光学ポリマー材料に適用することができる。そのような材料の非限定的例には、IOLに用いられることが知られている光学ポリマー材料がある。例えば、本発明の方法は、シロキシ(siloxy)-含有コポリマー、アクリルコポリマー、親水性コポリマーまたは疎水性コポリマーがある。用語「ポリマー」及び「コポリマー」は互換で用いられ、コポリマーが1つより多くのモノマー成分からつくられることは当業者に周知である。
(A)重量で5〜25%の、一般式:
(B)重量で50〜90%の2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレート、及び
(C)重量で5〜45%の、化学式(A)で表されるモノマーではなく、2-ヒドロキシエチル(メタ)アクリレートでもない、(メタ)アクリレートモノマー、
の重合によって作製することもできる。また、モノマー(C)のホモポリマーの水吸収係数は重量で30%以下である。
水吸収係数(重量%)=100×(W−W0)/W0,
と定義され、値は1mm厚に切断した試料を用いて25℃で計算され、Wは水と平衡状態にある試料の重量を表し、W0は乾燥状態にある試料の重量を表す。

Claims (10)
- 周縁を有する光学素子部分及び少なくとも2本の脚を備え、前記脚のそれぞれが対応する脚一体化領域によって前記光学素子部分の前記周縁と一体化され、前記脚のそれぞれが遠位セグメント領域及び変形セグメント領域を有する、眼内レンズにおいて、
前記遠位セグメント領域が前記脚の外表面上の近位端点及び遠位端点によって定められる外遠位長を有し、前記遠位セグメント領域が20°〜30°の遠位セグメント角αによって画され、力がかかっていない前記遠位セグメント領域の外表面は曲率半径が4.3mm〜5.7mmの範囲の一つの値の弓形であり、
前記変形セグメント領域が前記脚の外表面上の近位変形端点及び前記遠位セグメント領域の前記近位端点によって境界が定められる外変形長を有し、前記変形セグメント領域が20°〜40°の変形セグメント角βによって画され、力がかかっていない前記変形セグメント領域の外表面は曲率半径が前記一つの値の弓形であり、
前記遠位セグメント角α及び前記変形セグメント角βのそれぞれが、光学素子部分中心から1.5mm〜1.9mmの径方向距離及び垂直軸から30°〜45°のセグメント角θによって画される径方向セグメント内にあるセグメント原点を有し、前記垂直軸が少なくとも1本の前記脚の前記遠位端点及び前記光学素子部分中心を通って延び、
ISO試験第11979−3号(2006年)にしたがって前記脚に10mmのあご直径の同軸方向に力がかけられたときに、前記遠位セグメント領域の前記外表面と前記変形セグメント領域の前記外表面の対応する部分とを合わせて、弓形あごと50°以上70°以下の接触角をなし、
前記遠位セグメント領域及び前記変形セグメント領域を有する前記少なくとも2本の脚の眼内の水晶体嚢への接触により、
前記遠位セグメント領域に前記光学素子部分中心に向かう内向きの運動が生じ、
前記セグメント原点は、前記光学素子部分中心から0.3mm以下の距離内の点に移動し、
前記光学素子部分及び前記少なくとも2本の脚の前記水晶体嚢内での移植後の回転を阻止する、
ことを特徴とする眼内レンズ。 - 前記遠位セグメント領域の少なくとも80%及び前記変形セグメント領域の少なくとも70%が0.25mm〜0.65mmの一定の幅Whを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記脚一体化領域が開口を有し、よって外側一体化部材及び内側一体化部材を形成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記径方向セグメントが、前記光学素子部分中心から1.6mm〜1.8mmの径方向距離の範囲の一つの値及び前記垂直軸から34°〜40°の範囲の一つの値のセグメント角θによって画されることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 力がかかっていないとき、前記遠位セグメント角が22°〜28°の範囲の一つの値であり、前記セグメント原点が前記光学素子部分中心から径方向に1.62mm〜1.72mmの範囲の一つの値であることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 人間の眼の水晶体嚢内へのレンズの移植に続いて前記脚に前記水晶体嚢によって力がかけられたときに、前記遠位セグメント領域の前記外表面と前記変形セグメント領域の前記外表面の対応する部分とを合わせて、前記水晶体嚢と50°以上の接触角をなすことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 力がかかっていないとき、前記遠位セグメント角αは24°〜26°の範囲の一つの値であり、前記セグメント原点は前記光学素子部分中心から1.65mm〜1.72mmの径方向距離の範囲の一つの値であることを特徴とする請求項1から6いずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- ISO試験第11979-3号(2006年)にしたがって前記脚に直径方向に力がかけられたときに、前記セグメント原点が前記光学素子部分中心から0.3mm以下の移植後径方向距離に平行移動することを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 接線弾性率が2MPa〜6MPaのポリマー材料で、一体として形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
- 前記光学素子部分が前面及び、前記前面と実質的に表裏をなす、後面を有し、前記前面が、中心面、周縁面及び環状面を有し、前記環状面が前記中心面と前記周縁面の間で前記後面側のリセスとして形成されることを特徴とする請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の眼内レンズ。
