Claims (5)
- 液晶層が封入された一対の透明基板を含む矩形状の液晶パネルであって、短手方向を偏光方向とする矩形状の第1偏光フィルム又は長手方向を偏光方向とする第2偏光フィルムが前記液晶パネルの正面又は背面に貼り付けられている、液晶パネルと、
前記液晶パネルの前記背面と対向するように配された拡散板と、
前記液晶パネル及び前記拡散板の間に配された光学シートと、
矩形枠状をなし、前記液晶パネルの前記背面の周縁部に接するパネルシャーシと、
矩形枠状をなし、前記液晶パネルの前記正面の周縁部に接するベゼルと、
を具備し、
前記第1偏光フィルムに近接する前記ベゼル又は前記パネルシャーシの長辺の中央部に凹部が形成され、
前記第2偏光フィルムに近接する前記パネルシャーシ又は前記ベゼルの長辺の中央部に凸部が形成されている、
表示装置。 - 前記第1偏光フィルムが、前記液晶パネルの前記正面に貼り付けられており、
前記ベゼルの長辺の中央部に前記凹部が設けられており、
前記パネルシャーシの長辺の中央部に前記凸部が設けられている、
請求項1に記載の表示装置。 - 前記凸部は、前記パネルシャーシの二つの長辺夫々に設けられており、
前記凹部は、前記ベゼルの二つの長辺夫々に設けられている、請求項2に記載の表示装置。 - 矩形形状をなし、液晶層を封入した一対の透明基板の二つの外表面の一方に、短手方向を偏光方向とする矩形状の第1偏光フィルムを貼り付け、前記二つの外表面の他方に、長手方向を偏光方向とする矩形状の第2偏光フィルムを貼り付けた液晶パネルを準備する工程と、
矩形枠状のパネルシャーシを、前記液晶パネルの背面の周縁部に接するように配置する工程であって、前記パネルシャーシの長辺の中央部には凸部が形成されている、工程と、
矩形枠状のベゼルを、前記液晶パネルの正面の周縁部に接するように配置する工程であって、前記ベゼルの長辺の中央部には凹部が形成されている、工程と、
前記液晶パネルを前記ベゼルと前記パネルシャーシとによって挟持する工程
を含む、表示装置の製造方法。 - 矩形形状をなし、液晶層を封入した一対の透明基板の二つの外表面の一方に、長手方向を偏光方向とする矩形状の第1偏光フィルムを貼り付け、前記二つの外表面の他方に、短手方向を偏光方向とする矩形状の第2偏光フィルムを貼り付けた液晶パネルを準備する工程と、
矩形枠状のパネルシャーシを、前記液晶パネルの背面の周縁部に接するように配置する工程であって、前記パネルシャーシの長辺の中央部には凹部が形成されている、工程と、
矩形枠状のベゼルを、前記液晶パネルの正面の周縁部に接するように配置する工程であって、前記ベゼルの長辺の中央部には凸部が形成されている、工程と、
前記液晶パネルを前記ベゼルと前記パネルシャーシとによって挟持する工程
を含む、表示装置の製造方法。
