Claims (14)
- 手首に着用可能なデバイスでレイズジェスチャを検出するための方法であって、
前記手首に着用可能なデバイス内のモーションコプロセッサにおいて、前記手首に着用可能なデバイスの内部モーションセンサから、ある時間幅に対応する一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルを取得することと、
前記モーションコプロセッサによって、前記モーションセンサデータサンプルに基づいて、前記時間幅の開始に対応する開始姿勢を決定することと、
前記モーションコプロセッサによって、前記開始姿勢に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルを使用して可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定するための一組の基準を選択することと、
前記モーションコプロセッサによって、前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルが、前記選択された一組の基準を満たすか否かに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定することと、
前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャの特定に応じて、前記モーションコプロセッサによって、前記手首に着用可能なデバイスのアプリケーションプロセッサをスリープ状態からウェイクさせることと、
前記モーションコプロセッサによって、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャのあとに、少なくとも最小限の持続時間にわたってフォーカス姿勢のままである場合に、検出済レイズジェスチャを特定することと、
前記検出済レイズジェスチャの特定に応じて、前記手首に着用可能なデバイスのディスプレイをアクティブにすることと、を含む、方法。 - 前記手首に着用可能なデバイスのユーザインタフェースコンポーネントを、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを通知されたことに応じて、非アクティブな状態から部分的にアクティブな状態に遷移させ、前記検出済レイズジェスチャを通知されたことに応じて、前記部分的にアクティブな状態からアクティブな状態に遷移させることをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記モーションセンサデータは加速度計データを含み、可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定するための前記選択された一組の基準は、
前記時間幅の間に前記加速度計データから決定された蓄積した傾斜に基づく基準、
前記時間幅の間に前記加速度計データから決定された、前記デバイスの持ち上げ量に基づく基準、又は、
前記時間幅の間における動きの滑らかさに基づく基準、のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記モーションセンサデータはジャイロセンサからのジャイロスコープデータを含み、可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定するための前記選択された一組の基準は、ユーザの前腕と実質的に平行な軸を中心とした蓄積した回転に基づく基準を含み、前記蓄積した回転は、前記時間幅の間に前記ジャイロスコープデータから決定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記モーションセンサデータは、ジャイロセンサからのジャイロスコープデータと加速度計からの加速度計データを含み、
前記ジャイロスコープデータは、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定するのに用いられ、
前記加速度計データは、前記検出済レイズジェスチャを特定するのに用いられる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記検出済レイズジェスチャを決定することに続いて、ジェスチャ分類部を使用して前記検出済レイズジェスチャを確認することをさらに含み、
前記デバイスのユーザインタフェースコンポーネントは、前記ジェスチャ分類部による確認に応じてアクティブにされる、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記モーションコプロセッサによって、プレヒート検出アルゴリズムを実行して前記レイズジェスチャの開始を検出することであって、前記プレヒート検出アルゴリズムは、前記開始姿勢の決定、前記一組の基準の選択、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャの特定、及び前記検出済レイズジェスチャの特定の行為をするのと同時に実行される、ことと、
前記アプリケーションプロセッサがスリープ状態にある間に前記レイズジェスチャの開始が検出された場合に、前記アプリケーションプロセッサを前記スリープ状態からウェイクさせることと、をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 着用可能デバイスであって、
アクティブな状態と非アクティブな状態とを有するユーザインタフェースコンポーネントと、
前記デバイスの動きを検出するためのモーションセンサと、
モーションコプロセッサであって、
前記モーションセンサから、ある時間幅に対応する一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルを取得し、
前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルに基づいて、前記時間幅の開始に対応する開始姿勢を決定し、
前記開始姿勢に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルを使用して可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定するための一組の基準を選択し、
前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルが前記選択された一組の基準を満たすか否かに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定し、
前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャの特定に応じて、前記アプリケーションプロセッサをスリープ状態からウェイクさせて、
特定された前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャのあとに、少なくとも最小限の持続時間にわたってフォーカス姿勢のままである場合に、検出済レイズジェスチャを特定し、
前記検出済レイズジェスチャの特定に応じて、前記ユーザインタフェースコンポーネントをアクティブにするように構成されたモーションコプロセッサと、を備える、着用可能デバイス。 - 前記ユーザインタフェースコンポーネントは、
ディスプレイ、
タッチスクリーンディスプレイ、
マイクロフォン、
スピーカ、又は、
ボタン、のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項8に記載のデバイス。 - 前記モーションセンサは、
加速度計、又は、
ジャイロセンサ、のうちの1つ以上を含む、請求項8に記載のデバイス。 - 手首に着用可能なデバイスのモーションコプロセッサによって実行されると、前記モーションコプロセッサに、
前記手首に着用可能なデバイスの内部モーションセンサから、ある時間幅に対応する一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルを取得することと、
前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルに基づいて、前記時間幅の開始に対応する開始姿勢を決定することと、
前記開始姿勢に少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルを使用して可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定するための一組の基準を選択することと、
前記一組のモーションセンサデータサンプルが前記選択された一組の基準を満たすか否かに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャを特定することと、
前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャの特定に応じて、前記モーションコプロセッサによって、前記手首に着用可能なデバイスのアプリケーションプロセッサをスリープ状態からウェイクさせることと、
前記可能性のあるレイズジェスチャのあとに、少なくとも最小限の持続時間にわたってフォーカス姿勢のままである場合に、検出済レイズジェスチャを特定することと、
前記検出済レイズジェスチャの特定に応じて、前記手首に着用可能なデバイスのディスプレイをアクティブにすることと、を含む方法を実行させるプログラム命令が記憶された、コンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - 前記方法が、
前記モーションセンサデータサンプルにおいて、前記デバイスを着用しているユーザの手首の回転に対応する方向での移動を各々が示し、タイムアウト時間より短い時間だけ時間的に離れた第1のインパルスピーク及び第2のインパルスピークを検出することと、
前記第1のインパルスピーク及び前記第2のインパルスピークが検出されたことに少なくとも部分的に基づいて、意図的なレイズジェスチャを検出することと、
レイズジェスチャが検出された場合に、前記アプリケーションプロセッサをウェイクさせることと、をさらに含む、請求項11に記載のコンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - 前記方法が、
前記第2のインパルスピークに続いて、少なくとも最小限の持続時間にわたって、前記デバイスがほぼ安定した位置に保持されているのを検出することをさらに含み、
前記レイズジェスチャは、前記第1のインパルスピーク及び前記第2のインパルスピークが検出されたことに部分的に基づいて、かつ、前記デバイスが前記ほぼ安定した位置に保持されていると決定されたことに部分的に基づいて検出される、請求項12に記載のコンピュータ可読記憶媒体。 - 前記モーションセンサは加速度計を含み、前記第1のインパルスピーク及び前記第2のインパルスピークを検出することは、加速度計データサンプルから決定される躍度に少なくとも部分的に基づく、請求項12に記載のコンピュータ可読記憶媒体。
