Claims (7)
- 層状掃気エンジン(10)のシリンダブロック(12)と気化器(14)との間に接続される吸入管ユニット(16)であって、
弾性材料で形成された混合気吸入管(30)と、
弾性材料で形成された層状掃気用空気のための空気吸入管(32)と、
前記混合気吸入管(30)及び前記空気吸入管(32)と前記気化器(14)との間に配置され且つ1つのボア(44)を有するアダプタ(34)と、を有し、
前記混合気吸入管(30)と前記空気吸入管(32)はそれぞれ、前記アダプタ(34)に接続される入口端部(30a、32a)において、互いに対向し且つ相補形状をなす壁部分(36、38)を有し、前記混合気吸入管(30)の前記壁部分(36)と前記空気吸入管(32)の前記壁部分(38)との間に隙間空間(40)が設けられ、
前記アダプタ(34)は、前記ボア(44)に、前記混合気吸入管(30)の壁部分(36)と前記空気吸入管(32)の壁部分(38)と整列する単一の仕切り部(46)が設けられ、前記仕切り部(46)は、前記混合気吸入管(30)の壁部分(36)と前記空気吸入管(32)の壁部分(38)に嵌合する凹部(50a)を有することを特徴とする吸入管ユニット(16)。 - 前記アダプタ(34)は、前記混合気吸入管(30)の入口端部(30a)及び前記空気吸入管(32)の入口端部(32a)を受入れる凹部(50)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の吸入管ユニット(16)。
- 前記混合気吸入管(30)の壁部分(36)は補強リブ(36a)を有することを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の吸入管ユニット(16)。
- 前記混合気吸入管(30)と前記空気吸入管(32)とは異なる材料で形成されることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の吸入管ユニット(16)。
- 前記混合気吸入管(30)の前記壁部分(36)及び前記空気吸入管(32)の前記壁部分(38)は平面状であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の吸入管ユニット(16)。
- 請求項1〜5の何れか1項に記載された吸入管ユニット(16)と、気化器(14)と、を含む層状掃気エンジン(10)。
- 前記気化器(14)は、前記混合気吸入管(30)及び前記空気吸入管(32)に接続される1つのボア(18)と、前記ボア(18)の中に配置されたチョークバルブ(20)及びスロットルバルブ(22)を有することを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の層状掃気エンジン(10)。
