Description
以下図1乃至図3を用いて第1の実施形態に係る車両1について説明する。図1は、第1の実施形態に係る車両1の構成の例を示す斜視図である。図2は、車両1に配置される電池モジュール5の構成の例を示す斜視図である。図3は、電池モジュール5の構成を一部断面として示す断面図である。
第1のセル群12及び第2のセル群11は、ケース14内に一体に配置される。
以下、図4を用いて第2の実施形態に係る車両1に用いられる電池モジュール5Aについて説明する。図4は、第2の実施形態に係る車両の電池モジュールの構成の例を示す斜視図である。
以下、本出願の出願当初の特許請求の範囲に記載された事項を付記する。
(付記項1)
端子が配置された上面と底面と一対の長側面と前記長側面より短い短側面とを備え且つ前記長側面同士が対向して配列された複数のセルを備える第1のセル群と、
前記長側面同士が対向して配列され且つ前記第1のセル群と並列な位置に配置された複数の前記セルを備える第2のセル群と、
車両の客室の前方に設けられたフロント部に配置され、前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群の少なくとも一方の前記長側面が前記車両の前後方向に沿って配列された前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群を収容するケースと、
を具備することを特徴とする電池モジュール。
(付記項2)
前記ケースは、前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群の両方の前記長側面を前記車両の前後方向に沿って配置し、且つ前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群の両方の複数の前記短側面を前記車両の前後方向に直交且つ面一状に配置することを特徴とする付記項1に記載の電池モジュール。
(付記項3)
前記ケースは、前記第1のセル群の前記長側面と前記第2のセル群の前記短側面とを直交して配置し、且つ前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群の前記長側面と前記短側面とを面一状に配置することを特徴とする付記項1に記載の電池モジュール。
(付記項4)
前記ケースは、前記第1のセル群の前記セルの前記端子と前記第2のセル群の前記セルの前記端子とを電気的に接続する接続部材を収容し、
前記第1のセル群または前記第2のセル群の一方の端部に配置された前記セルは、前記車両の前後方向と直交する面に前記接続部材の厚さの寸法以上の深さで形成され且つ前記接続部材が配置される溝部を備えることを特徴とする付記項1に記載の電池モジュール。
(付記項5)
前記第2のセル群は、外形状が直方体状に形成され、1つの面が前記第2のセル群の一方の端部に配置された前記セルの長側面と対向して配置された電装部品を備え、
前記接続部材は、前記第1のセル群の前記セルの前記端子を前記電装部品の前記セルの前記上面と同じ側の面に配置することを特徴とする付記項4に記載の電池モジュール。
(付記項6)
客室の前方に設けられたフロント部を備える車体と、
端子が配置された上面と底面と一対の長側面と前記長側面より短い短側面とを備え且つ前記長側面同士が対向して配列された複数のセルを備える第1のセル群と、
前記長側面同士が対向して配列され、且つ前記第1のセル群と並列な位置に配置された複数の前記セルを備える第2のセル群と、
前記フロント部に配置され、前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群の少なくとも一方の前記長側面が前記車体の前後方向に沿って配列された前記第1のセル群及び前記第2のセル群を収容するケースと、
を具備することを特徴とする車両。
Claims (6)
- 端子が配置された第1の面、この第1の面に対向する第2の面、さらに前記第1の面と第2の面との間に配置された一対の長側面およびこの長側面より短い短側面とで構成される電池セルを収容する電池モジュールであって、
前記電池セルを複数有するとともに、これら複数の電池セルが、隣り合う電池セル間で前記長側面が対向するように並べられた第1のセル群と、
前記電池セルを複数有するとともに、これら複数の電池セルが、隣り合う電池セル間で前記長側面が対向するように並べられた第2のセル群と、
を具備し、
前記第1のセル群と前記第2のセル群は、互いの前記電池セルの長側面が直交し、前記第1のセル群は前記第2のセル群の上方に配置された
電池モジュール。 - 前記第1のセル群と前記第2のセル群は、対向する面に直交する少なくとも1つの面同士が面一状になるように並べられている請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1のセル群または前記第2のセル群の端部に配置された電池セルは、一方の短側面に前記第1のセル群の電池セルの端子と前記第2のセル群の電池セルの端子とを電気的に接続する接続部材を収容する溝部が形成され、さらにこの溝部の深さは前記接続部材の厚さ以上である請求項1又は請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 車体と、この車体に搭載された電池モジュールとを有する車両であって、
前記電池モジュールは、
端子が配置された第1の面、この第1の面に対向する第2の面、さらに前記第1の面と第2の面との間に配置された一対の長側面および前記長側面より短い短側面とで構成される電池セルを複数有し、且つ前記長側面同士が対向して配列された第1のセル群と、
端子が配置された第1の面、この第1の面に対向する第2の面、さらに前記第1の面と第2の面との間に配置された一対の長側面および前記長側面より短い短側面とで構成される電池セルを複数有し、且つ前記長側面同士が対向して配列された第2のセル群と、
を具備し、
前記第1のセル群と前記第2のセル群は、互いの前記電池セルの長側面が直交し、前記第1のセル群は前記第2のセル群の上方に配置された車両。 - 前記第1のセル群と前記第2のセル群の前記長側面と前記短側面とを面一状に配置することを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両。
- 前記第1のセル群または前記第2のセル群の端部に配置された電池セルは、一方の短側面に前記第1のセル群の電池セルの端子と前記第2のセル群の電池セルの端子とを電気的に接続する接続部材を収容する溝部が形成され、さらにこの溝部の深さは前記接続部材の厚さ以上の深さである請求項4又は請求項5に記載の車両。
