Description
Claims (17)
- ウェブハンドリングシステムであって:
印刷動作の終了の際に印刷媒体のウェブに係合して逆方向に移動させ、且つ、印刷動作中に前記ウェブの順方向の移動を許容する第1ダンサーローラー;
前記第1ダンサーローラーより下流側に位置し、印刷動作中に前記ウェブを順方向に搬送する乾燥ローラー;
前記乾燥ローラーより下流側に位置し、印刷動作中に前記ウェブを順方向に搬送する第2ダンサーローラー;
前記第1ダンサーローラーより上流側の入口にある第1ピンチローラー;及び
前記第2ダンサーローラーより下流側の出口にある第2ピンチローラー;
を含み、印刷動作の終了の際に、前記ウェブハンドリングシステムに対して外部のウェブの部分が移動することを防止するために、前記第1及び第2ピンチローラーは前記ウェブに係合する、ウェブハンドリングシステム。 - 第1ダンサーローラーは、前記印刷動作中に、前記ウェブを逆方向に引っ張るようには前記ウェブと係合していない、請求項1に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記第1ダンサーローラーは、前記印刷動作の終了の際に逆方向に前記ウェブを引っ張り、前記第2ダンサーローラーから前記ウェブの一部分を吸収するように、前記第1ダンサーローラー同士の間の間隔が広がる、請求項1に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記第2ダンサーローラー同士の間の間隔は、前記印刷動作の終了の際に、前記逆方向に移動することを前記ウェブに許容する、請求項3に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記印刷動作の指示を与えるように、前記第1ダンサーローラー、第2ダンサーローラー及び前記第1、第2ピンチローラーのうちの1つ以上に信号を送信するコントローラを更に有する請求項1に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記ウェブに関するテンションを維持するように、1つ以上の前記第1ダンサーローラーに信号を送信する、請求項5に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 1つ以上のデフレクションローラーを更に有する請求項1に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記デフレクションローラーは、ピボットアームローラー、遊星ローラーホイール及び空気ベアリングローラーのうちの何れかを含む、請求項7に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 印刷動作中に、インクが付与される印刷面と反対側でウェブに接触することにより、印刷媒体のウェブの印刷面で液状インクを硬化させる、固定された位置にある静的なローラーと、
前記静的なローラーの下流側に位置する乾燥ローラーであって、印刷動作中に前記ウェブを搬送するために前記ウェブに係合し、印刷動作の終了の際に前記ウェブと非係合になる乾燥ローラーと、
前記乾燥ローラーの下流側に位置する第1セットのダンサーローラーであって、前記ウェブに係合し、印刷動作の終了の際に、ダンサーローラー同士の間の間隔が広がる第1セットのダンサーローラーと、
を有する印刷システムのドライヤ。 - 前記静的なローラーと前記第1セットのダンサーローラーとの間で前記ウェブに接触するデフレクションローラーを更に有する請求項9に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記デフレクションローラーは、前記静的なローラーが前記印刷動作の終了の際に前記ウェブに接触することを防ぐように、前記静的なローラーに対して上方の高い位置にある、請求項10に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記デフレクションローラーは、ピボットアームローラー、遊星ローラーホイール及び空気ベアリングローラーのうちの何れかを含む、請求項11に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記第1セットのダンサーローラーは、前記乾燥ローラーの非係合化に起因する緩みを収容するように配置される、請求項11に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記静的なローラーは、前記第1セットのダンサーローラーの直径より大きな直径のローラーである、請求項9に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記第1セットのダンサーローラーは、前記ウェブの冷却をもたらすように印刷中に係合されている、請求項9に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記ドライヤの入口にある第1ピンチローラー;及び
前記ドライヤの出口にある第2ピンチローラー;
を更に有する請求項9に記載のドライヤ。 - 前記ドライヤに対して外部のウェブの部分が移動することを防ぐように、前記第1及び第2ピンチローラーは、前記印刷動作の終了の際に前記ウェブに係合する、請求項16に記載のドライヤ。
