Abstract

Claims (20)
- 印刷動作の終了の際に印刷媒体のウェブに系合して順方向及び逆方向に移動させ、且つ、前記印刷動作中に順方向の移動を許容するように結合される第1ダンサーローラーを含むウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 印刷動作中に印刷媒体のウェブを順方向に搬送する乾燥ローラー;及び
前記印刷動作中に印刷媒体のウェブを順方向に搬送する第2ダンサーローラー;
を更に有する請求項1に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。 - 第1ダンサーローラーは、前記印刷動作中に前記ウェブと最小限に接触している、請求項2に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- ドライヤの入口にある第1ピンチローラー;及び
前記ドライヤの出口にある第2ピンチローラー;
を更に有する請求項2に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。 - 前記印刷動作の終了の際に、前記ウェブハンドリングシステムに対して外部のウェブの部分が移動することを防止するために、前記第1及び第2ピンチローラーは前記ウェブに系合する、請求項4に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記第1ダンサーローラーは、前記印刷動作の終了の際に逆方向に前記ウェブを引っ張り、前記第2ダンサーローラーから前記ウェブの一部分を吸収するように広がる、請求項4に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記第2ダンサーローラーは、前記逆方向に移動することを前記ウェブに許容するために、前記ウェブと最小限に接触するように後退する、請求項6に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記印刷動作の指示を与えるように、前記第1ダンサーローラー、第2ダンサーローラー及び前記第1、第2ピンチローラーのうちの1つ以上に信号を送信するコントローラを更に有する請求項4に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記ウェブに関するテンションを維持するように、1つ以上の前記第1ダンサーローラーに信号を送信する、請求項8に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 1つ以上のデフレクションローラーを更に有する請求項4に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 前記デフレクションローラーは、ピボットアームローラー、遊星ローラーホイール及び空気ベアリングローラーのうちの何れかを含む、請求項10に記載のウェブハンドリングシステム。
- 印刷媒体のウェブの印刷される側でインクを硬化させる静的なローラーと、
印刷動作中に前記ウェブを搬送するために前記ウェブに系合し、前記印刷動作の終了の際に前記ウェブと非系合になる乾燥ローラーと、
前記ウェブに系合し、前記印刷動作の終了の際に広がる第1セットのダンサーローラーと、
を有する印刷システムのドライヤ。 - 前記静的なローラーと前記第1セットのダンサーローラーとの間で前記ウェブに接触するデフレクションローラーを更に有する請求項12に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記デフレクションローラーは、前記静的なローラーが前記印刷動作の終了の際に前記ウェブに接触することを防ぐように、前記静的なローラーに対して上方に高い位置にある、請求項13に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記デフレクションローラーは、ピボットアームローラー、遊星ローラーホイール及び空気ベアリングローラーのうちの何れかを含む、請求項14に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記第1セットのダンサーローラーは、前記乾燥ローラーの非系合化に起因する緩みを収容するように配置される、請求項14に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記静的なローラーは、大きな直径のローラーである、請求項12に記載のドライヤ。
- 前記ダンサーローラーは、前記ウェブの冷却をもたらすように印刷中に系合されている、請求項12に記載のドライヤ。
- ドライヤの入口にある第1ピッチローラー;及び
前記ドライヤの出口にある第2ピッチローラー;
を更に有する請求項12に記載のドライヤ。 - 前記ドライヤに対して外部のウェブの部分が移動することを防ぐように、前記第1及び第2ピッチローラーは、前記印刷動作の終了の際に前記ウェブに係合する、請求項19に記載のドライヤ。
