Description
以下、MIMOシステムについて説明する。MIMO(Multiple−Input Multiple−Output)は、複数個の送信アンテナと複数個の受信アンテナを使用する方法で、この方法によりデータの送受信効率を向上させることができる。すなわち、無線通信システムの送信端あるいは受信端で複数個のアンテナを使用することによって容量を増大させ、性能を向上させることができる。以下、本文献ではMIMOを「多重アンテナ」と呼ぶこともできる。
以下、チャネル状態情報(channel state information;CSI)報告について説明する。現在、LTE標準では、チャネル状態情報無しで運用される開ループ(open−loop)MIMOとチャネル状態情報に基づいて運用される閉ループ(closed−loop)MIMOといった2種類の送信方式が存在する。特に、閉ループMIMOでは、MIMOアンテナの多重化利得(multiplexing gain)を得るために、基地局及び端末のそれぞれはチャネル状態情報に基づいてビームフォーミングを行うことができる。基地局は、チャネル状態情報を端末から得るために、端末にPUCCH(Physical Uplink Control CHannel)又はPUSCH(Physical Uplink Shared CHannel)を割り当て、下りリンク信号に対するチャネル状態情報(CSI)をフィードバックするように命令する。
本発明に係る第1実施例は、PUCCHフィードバックモード1−1のサブモード1においてコードブックサブサンプリング方法に関する。
本発明に係る第2実施例は、PUCCHフィードバックモード1−1のサブモード2においてコードブックサブサンプリング方法に関する。
第3実施例は、上述した式12乃至式15の4Txコードブックの他の例であり、第3実施例のコードブックを利用する場合にも、上記の第1実施例及び第2実施例を適用することができる。上述した式12乃至式15のコードブックと第3実施例のコードブックは、ランク2においてW2の一部のコードワード(9,10,11,12,13,14,15)が異なるだけで、残りはいずれも同一である。したがって、第3実施例のコードブックを第1実施例又は第2実施例によってサブサンプリングする場合、サブサンプリングされたコードブックは同一である。
図17に、本発明の一実施例に適用可能な基地局及び端末を例示する。
Claims (12)
- 無線通信システムにおいて端末がチャネル状態情報(CSI)を送信する方法であって、
4アンテナポートでの特定CSI報告モードに対する第1PMIのための第1コードブックインデックス及び第2PMIのための第2コードブックインデックスを決定するステップと、
前記第1コードブックインデックス及び前記第2コードブックインデックスを示す前記CSIを報告するステップと、
を有し、
RIが1である場合、前記第1コードブックインデックスは、0、4、8及び12の1つとして決定されるよう制限され、前記第2コードブックインデックスは、0、2、8及び10の1つとして決定されるよう制限され、
前記RIが2である場合、前記第1コードブックインデックスは、0、4、8及び12の1つとして決定されるよう制限され、前記第2コードブックインデックスは、0、1、4及び5の1つとして決定されるよう制限される、CSI送信方法。 - 前記RIが3または4である場合、前記第1PMIに対応するプリコーディング行列は、恒等行列とみなされ、前記第2コードブックインデックスは、0〜15の整数の1つとして決定される、請求項1に記載のCSI送信方法。
- 前記第1コードブックインデックス及び前記第2コードブックインデックスを示すための全ペイロードサイズは、4ビットである、請求項1に記載のCSI送信方法。
- 前記RIが1または2である場合、前記第1コードブックインデックス及び前記第2コードブックインデックスのそれぞれは、2ビットで表される、請求項1に記載のCSI送信方法。
- 前記RIが1または2である場合、最終プリコーディング行列は、前記第1コードブックインデックス及び前記第2コードブックインデックスに基づいて決定される、請求項1または2に記載のCSI送信方法。
- 無線通信システムにおいてチャネル状態情報(CSI)を送信する端末であって、
RFユニットと、
前記RFユニットと動作可能に結合されたプロセッサと、
を備え、
前記プロセッサは、
4アンテナポートでの特定CSI報告モードに対する第1PMIのための第1コードブックインデックス及び第2PMIのための第2コードブックインデックスを決定し、
前記第1コードブックインデックス及び前記第2コードブックインデックスを示す前記CSIを報告するように構成され、
RIが1である場合、前記第1コードブックインデックスは、0、4、8及び12の1つとして決定されるよう制限され、前記第2コードブックインデックスは、0、2、8及び10の1つとして決定されるよう制限され、
前記RIが2である場合、前記第1コードブックインデックスは、0、4、8及び12の1つとして決定されるよう制限され、前記第2コードブックインデックスは、0、1、4及び5の1つとして決定されるよう制限される、端末。 - 前記RIが3または4である場合、前記第1PMIに対応するプリコーディング行列は、恒等行列とみなされ、前記第2コードブックインデックスは、0〜15の整数の1つとして決定される、請求項6に記載の端末。
- 前記第1コードブックインデックス及び前記第2コードブックインデックスを示すための全ペイロードサイズは、4ビットである、請求項6に記載の端末。

- 前記CSIは、広帯域CQIをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のCSI送信方法。
- 前記第1コードブックインデックス、前記第2コードブックインデックス及び前記広帯域CQIは、同一のサブフレーム内で報告される、請求項11に記載のCSI送信方法。
