Description
(a)炭酸カルシウム含有材料を用意するステップ、

本発明による方法のステップ(a)によれば、炭酸カルシウム含有材料が用意される。一般に、前記炭酸カルシウム含有材料は任意の炭酸カルシウム源であってよく、天然起源であり得るまたは合成起原であり得る。
本発明による方法のステップ(b)によれば、ポリオールである剤が用意される。
本発明による方法のステップ(c)によれば、ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料およびステップ(b)において用意された少なくとも1種の剤を含む混合物が少なくとも1つの粉砕ユニットで乾式粉砕されて、乾式粉砕炭酸カルシウム含有材料が得られる。
本発明による方法のステップ(d)は、分級ステップである。前記分級ステップにおいて、1つ以上の粗粒画分および1つ以上の微粒画分が得られ、ここで、1つ以上の粗粒画分は、除去されるおよび/または乾式粉砕ステップ(c)に供されるおよび/または分級ステップ(d)に供される。
本発明による方法のステップ(e)において、炭酸カルシウム含有材料は、ステップ(c)の前および/または間および/または後に、少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物で処理されて、前記材料の表面の少なくとも一部の上に処理層を有する炭酸カルシウム含有材料が得られる。
本出願の意味において、本発明に係る鉱物充填剤生成物は、本願の特許請求の範囲の方法の独立請求項で定義されているステップ(a)からステップ(e)に供されている炭酸カルシウム含有材料である。既に上述したように、前記鉱物充填剤生成物は、ステップの順序に応じて、分級ステップ(d)の後または処理ステップ(e)の後に得ることができる。
イタリア、Carrara産の大理石を水平ボールミル(Dynomill)に入れた水道水中25重量%固形含量で湿式粉砕し、噴霧乾燥した。得られた炭酸カルシウム含有材料は、d50が約1.7μmであり、トップカット(d98)が5.0μmであり、比表面積(BET)が4.1m2/gであり、総含湿量が0.06重量%であることを特徴とする。
また、吸湿性の低減効果も、炭酸カルシウムが2種以上のポリオールを含有する場合に観察される。
Claims (17)
- 鉱物充填剤生成物を調製する方法であって、
(a)炭酸カルシウム含有材料を用意するステップ、
(b)ポリオールである少なくとも1種の剤を用意するステップ、
(c)(i)ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料、および
(ii)ステップ(b)において用意された少なくとも1種の剤
を含む混合物中の炭酸カルシウム含有材料を少なくとも1つの粉砕ユニット中で乾式粉砕して、乾式粉砕炭酸カルシウム含有材料を得るステップ;
(d)ステップ(c)の乾式粉砕炭酸カルシウム含有材料を分級して、1つ以上の粗粒画分および1つ以上の微粒画分を得るステップであって、1つ以上の粗粒画分を除去するおよび/または乾式粉砕ステップ(c)に供するおよび/または分級ステップ(d)に供する、ステップ、ならびに
(e)炭酸カルシウム含有材料をステップ(c)の前および/または間および/または後に少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物で処理し、且つ任意に、少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸および/またはこれらの塩で処理して、前記材料の表面の少なくとも一部に処理層を有する炭酸カルシウム含有材料を得るステップ
を含み、
ステップ(b)において用意された少なくとも1種の剤の総量が、ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料の総乾燥重量に対して、0.01から5.0重量%の範囲であり、
ステップ(c)の混合物中の総含湿量が、混合物の総重量に対して、5.0重量%以下であり、
ステップ(e)における少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物ならびに任意選択の少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸および/またはこれらの塩の総量が、ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料の総乾燥重量に対して、0.01から5.0重量%の範囲であり、
ステップ(e)における温度が、少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物の融点よりも少なくとも2℃上まわる温度に調整される、
方法。 - ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料が、天然炭酸カルシウム源から選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 天然炭酸カルシウム源が、方解石、大理石、石灰石、チョーク、ドロマイトおよびこれらの混合物からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)において用意された少なくとも1種の剤が、サッカライド、グリセロール、ポリグリセロール、エチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、エチレングリコールおよび/またはプロピレングリコールのオリゴマーおよびポリマー、ならびにトリイソプロパノールアミンからなる群から選択されるポリオールである、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(b)において用意された少なくとも1種の剤の総量が、ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料の総乾燥重量に対して、0.05から3.0重量%の範囲である、請求項1から4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(c)の混合物中の総含湿量が、混合物の総重量に対して、2.0重量%以下である、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)の少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物が、C2からC30の炭素原子総量を有する脂肪族基で一置換されているコハク酸無水物からなる、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)の少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物が、少なくとも1種のアルキル一置換コハク酸無水物である、請求項1から7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1種のアルキル一置換コハク酸無水物が、エチルコハク酸無水物、プロピルコハク酸無水物、ブチルコハク酸無水物、トリイソブチルコハク酸無水物、ペンチルコハク酸無水物、ヘキシルコハク酸無水物、ヘプチルコハク酸無水物、オクチルコハク酸無水物、ノニルコハク酸無水物、デシルコハク酸無水物、ドデシルコハク酸無水物、ヘキサデカニルコハク酸無水物およびオクタデカニルコハク酸無水物からなる群から選択される、請求項8に記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)の少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物が少なくとも1種のアルケニル一置換コハク酸無水物である、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも1種のアルケニル一置換コハク酸無水物が、エテニルコハク酸無水物、プロペニルコハク酸無水物、ブテニルコハク酸無水物、トリイソブテニルコハク酸無水物、ペンテニルコハク酸無水物、ヘキセニルコハク酸無水物、ヘプテニルコハク酸無水物、オクテニルコハク酸無水物、ノネニルコハク酸無水物、デセニルコハク酸無水物、ドデセニルコハク酸無水物、ヘキサデセニルコハク酸無水物およびオクタデセニルコハク酸無水物からなる群から選択される、請求項10に記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)中の温度が30℃から200℃の範囲である、請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)における温度が1時間未満の間、少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物の融点を少なくとも2℃上まわる温度に調整される、請求項1から12のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)における少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物ならびに任意の少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸および/またはこれらの塩の総量が、ステップ(a)において用意された炭酸カルシウム含有材料の総乾燥重量に対して、0.05から3.0重量%の範囲である、請求項1から13のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(e)の処理層が、少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸無水物および/またはこの反応生成物(複数可)ならびに任意選択の少なくとも1種の一置換コハク酸および/またはこれらの塩および/またはこれらの反応生成物(複数可)を、炭酸カルシウム含有材料の総乾燥重量に対して、0.01から2.0重量%の総量で含む、請求項1から14のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 鉱物充填剤生成物が、0.3から25.0μmの範囲の重量メジアン粒径d50を有する、請求項1から15のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 鉱物充填剤生成物が、BET窒素法によって測定した場合、0.5から20.0m2/gの範囲の比表面積を有する、請求項1から16のいずれかに記載の方法。
