Description
図1は、実施の形態1に係る表示装置の縦断面図であり、図2は、図1中のII−II線による断面図である。表示装置1は、正面に画像を表示する液晶パネル2と、該液晶パネル2の背面側に位置するバックライト3とを備える。
図4は、実施の形態2に係るパネルシャーシ5の外観斜視図である。パネルシャーシ5は、実施の形態1と同様に矩形枠形のフレームと、該フレームの外周縁から垂直に立ち上がる側板とを有し、パネルシャーシ5のフレームの内周面には、光学シート7を支持するシート支持部51が内向きに突設されている。シート支持部51は、パネルシャーシ5と一体に形成されているので、表示装置の部品点数を削減することができる。

Claims (10)
- 前面に画像を表示する表示パネルと、
前記表示パネルの背面に、上面が対向するように配置された導光板と、
前記表示パネルと前記導光板との間に配置され、互いに平行な第1辺および第2辺と、前記第1辺および第2辺に直交する第3辺および第4辺とを有する光学シートと、
前記導光板の前記上面に接する第1面および前記表示パネルの前記背面の周縁を支持する第2面を有する矩形のフレームを含むパネル支持部と、前記パネル支持部と一体に形成され、前記パネル支持部の前記フレームから、前記導光板と前記光学シートとの間に突設されたシート支持部とを有するパネルシャーシとを備え、
前記シート支持部は、前記光学シートの前記第1辺の少なくとも一部を前記表示パネルとで挟持する凸部を有している、表示装置。 - 前記光学シートの前記第2辺は、前記表示パネルとの間に間隙を形成するように、前記シート支持部の上面で支持されている、請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記光学シートの前記第3辺および前記第4辺は、前記表示パネルとの間に間隙を形成するように、前記シート支持部の上面で支持されている、請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記シート支持部の前記凸部は、前記光学シートの前記第1辺の中央部だけを前記表示パネルとで挟持するように設けられている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記シート支持部の前記凸部は、前記光学シートの前記第1辺の全体を前記表示パネルとで挟持するように設けられている、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
- 前記光学シートは、前記第3辺に沿って設けられた複数の孔を有し、前記複数の孔は、円孔と、前記円孔の両側に配置された複数の長孔とを有し、
前記シート支持部は、前記光学シートの前記複数の孔に挿入される複数のピンをさらに有する、請求項1から5のいずれかに記載の表示装置。 - 底板と、前記底板の辺から垂直に立ち上がる複数の側板とを有する筐体と、
前記導光板の側面に対向するように、前記複数の側板の1つに固定された光源と
をさらに有する、請求項1から6のいずれかに記載の表示装置。 - 前記パネル支持部は、前記フレームの外周縁から垂直に立ち上がる複数の側板をさらに有し、
前記パネル支持部の前記複数の側板は、前記筐体の前記複数の側板の外側に配置されており、
前記導光板は、前記フレームの前記第1面と前記底板とに挟持されている、請求項7に記載の表示装置。 - 前記光源は、前記筐体の前記複数の側板の内の、前記光学シートの前記第4辺に最も近い1つに固定されている、請求項7または8に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1辺および前記第2辺は、前記第3辺および前記第4辺よりも短い、請求項1から9のいずれかに記載の表示装置。
